We were in Austin for the eclipse and scouting options for dinner. Thai Kruefha was recommended to us and so we called in an order for pick up. We ordered the Pad See Ewe, the Pad Thai, the Garlic Chicken, the Yellow Curry, and the Egg Rolls. We drove over to pick up our order and were pleasantly surprised by the purple trailer! The person behind the counter was very friendly and had our order all packaged to go. There are some tables outside in front of the trailer if you are not taking your order to go. The pad see ewe was a delicately spiced combination of stir fried flat rice noodles with egg, broccoli, and carrots. We really enjoyed this pad see ewe with vegetables that still had a nice crispiness. The pad Thai was a traditional stir fried rice noodle dish with egg, cabbage, and green onion. We had the ground peanuts on the side. So good! The garlic chicken was stir fried with garlic and black pepper. A nice garlicky goodness to this dish. The yellow curry included yellow curry paste in a coconut milk sauce with potato, carrot, and onion which tasted great over white rice. Yum! The egg rolls were a great compliment with a nice crispiness. We really loved our one and likely only visit to Thai Kruefha as we are headed out of town tomorrow morning. We are happy that someone recommended this wonderful dinner option to us.

We wanted to get some takeout food to bring along to a picnic and thought thai food sounded good. We ordered the following: - pad thai with chicken: pretty good and flavorful, with a generous amount of peanuts, served with a lime. Better than average for sure. - pineapple fried rice with pork: I have tried this dish at many, many thai restaurants. While I think this one was good, the rice was a bit mushier than I typically would prefer. The flavors were all there, though. - Crispy rice balls: 7 for $5 is a great deal for a good appetizer. This was a delicious, crispy rice snack with some sauce that pairs well with it. Try them out! Overall, if in the area and looking for some thai food to take out, give it a try!

Awesome Thai in the food desert that is Westlake! Wow, just wow. So after having some of the best Thai of my life in Houston (I see you, Thai Gourmet), we're not the easiest to excite. However, this place is amazing! The crispy rice balls are complex, flavored with a delicious red curry and atypically flavorful sweet sauce- and the order contains 8. The Pad Kee Mao stole the show- somewhat spicy with jalapeno, but brightened with the perfect amount of basil, and delicious small cubes of tofu. The pineapple fried rice was also great. Tasty balance of pineapple chunks with cashew, and savory pork to round it out. Pad Thai was the request of our little ones, who gobbled it up, but for the bite we tried (also delicious). Amazing Thai, with a good selection of popular options that are well executed and among the best I've tried. Not to mention, the food was ready quickly and very reasonably priced- and in a totally underserved area, couldn't be better. Can't wait to come back!

Great Thai food truck! Big portion entree and soup (with rice too) and it's tasty! Pad Thai include cabbage in it which is a great fit and very impressive

Food is AMAZING. I've been looking for a go-to spot for Thai in Austin and I think I've just found it. Ordered chicken yellow curry and Thai tea and both are excellent. Service was quick and friendly :) can't wait to come back and try more things!

Just started working in the area, this truck is right across the street so I had to check it out. Friendly, good prices and portion size, FAST, and some of the best Thai food I've ever had. It was totally empty when I got there at noon. Definitely support this truck they deserve it!

I ordered from them through UberEats. I've never been to the trailer. I would recommend ordering and picking up. It could get costly with additional cost. I paid $20 for two orders of chicken satay (4pcs) and a Thai green tea. The chicken was seasoned well. Just a few things I wish. I wish the sticks were longer or that they add a little more to the order. 5 or 6 pieces to compensate for the short stick. I've had various chicken satay that comes in various sizes. I was sad about the length. I included a picture. The chicken was slightly dry. I was looking for a juicy piece of chicken. The combination of the cooking and seasoning made it soak up all the juices. Felt like eating beef jerky. Still tasty though. The peanut sauce that accompanied the chicken was bomb! Wouldn't shock me if they made that in house. It was delicious. It had a peanut butter flavor to it. However, adding that to a dry chicken made it tougher to eat. The side of pickled cucumber was delicious however I would have preferred a little more sweetness. The vinegar overpowers the cucumber and gives you a straight kick to the face. The Thai green tea was my overall favorite. I've had other places use regular tea and milk but they use green tea and man was it deelish! My favorite thing from this order. Overall, I would try them again but I'd like to try something different.

Killing time while getting my car washed at the Nice N Clean next door, I was scavenging for a warm meal as it was freezing cold outside. I loveee Thai food so I was very excited to come across a Thai food truck! It was located in an isolated square where some organization was hosting a Jamaican festival of sorts. Yes, that is very cool but ya girl was FREEZING and HUNGRY and being stopped at the entrance about donations from was not ideal when ya girl doesn't carry cash and has a very guilty conscience. ): Weird event for a Thai food truck to be at but hey, I'm not complaining! When all hope was lost, I found Thai Kruefha, got my Pad Thai fix, and my belly warmed. The Pad Thai was flavorful and exquisite. I will be back the next time I get my car washed. Yummm

I ordered my tried and true Miss Shortcake with their famous cake donut with cream cheese icing and fresh cut strawberries. The donut is so indulgent and was served warm with the most delectable flavor combinations. Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. Review: The Quintessential Austin Morning BBQ Stop Stepping…read moreup to this Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ award winner, nestled amongst a cluster of other quality food trucks, a neighboring coffee shop, and a diner--the quintessential Austin food truck experience--you immediately feel the buzz. With nice outdoor seating perfect for takeout dining, this spot is truly a phenomenal way to start the day. If you've ever wondered about the difference between a "Top 100" and a "Top 50" joint, this place provides the answer: it's pure, unadulterated excellence, likely placing it closer to the top of that elite list. The Meats: Brisket is King The star of the show, without a doubt, is the Brisket. It is absolutely top-notch and comes with our highest recommendation. We sampled both the lean and the juicy cuts, and both were executed flawlessly. The meat featured that great, peppery bark you would expect from the best Austin barbecue establishments. The flavor was deep, smoky, and utterly satisfying. Moving on to the smoked sausage, the Jalapeño and Cheddar Sausage was a huge hit. It boasted great flavor and a satisfying snap from the casing. The mixture of jalapeño spice and creamy, cheesy goodness was perfectly balanced. We especially appreciated the nice, coarse double grind, giving it an excellent texture. The Breakfast Service This spot proves that great BBQ isn't just for lunch. The menu features several creative breakfast items: * Brisket Egg and Cheese Biscuit: This was a solid breakfast choice. However, in a testament to the quality of the main ingredient, we felt that as good as the brisket was, it honestly didn't need the addition of the egg and cheese! * Blueberry Gouda Sausage Biscuit: A fantastic sweet and savory treat, capitalizing on the excellent flavor of the Gouda sausage. The Gouda sausage itself was spot on, offering a rich counterpoint to the fruit. Sides & Dessert Critique The sides offered a mix of stellar hits and minor missed. * Pimento Cheese Grits: These were a true highlight--nice and creamy with an outstanding mix of savory and cheesy flavors. * Biscuits: While very good, they were a little on the dry and dense side. Personally, I prefer a flakier biscuit, but they were certainly serviceable. * Inside Out Cinnamon Roll: Made using their signature biscuit dough with a cinnamon swirl, the cream cheese filling was sandwiched decadently between two biscuit halves. The cream cheese was smooth, rich, and truly decadent in flavor, making this a standout dessert treat. * Hash Browns: The only weak link in the entire meal. These were clearly just purchased hash brown triangles and offered nothing special. For a place of this caliber, they really should consider upgrading this side to a homemade, more interesting preparation. Verdict: This BBQ joint earns its Top 50 status. Come for the brisket, stay for the grits and the unique sausage offerings. It's an essential Austin stop.

BEST PHO SOUP IN AUSTIN!!! I've been living here for 10…read moreyears and tucked away in the back of The Village at Westlake, is a FABULOUS PHO VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT CALLED LEE'S. I had no idea it was even here and I LOVE PHO. I've been under the weather with horrible allergies and I was craving a great bowl of Pho Soup, so I finally Googled "Pho in Westlake, and Lee's came up. So I called up, ordered and drove over. The ambiance is super cute and clean. THIS SOUP BLEW MY MIND!!! This soup blew anything out of the water that I have tasted in Vietnam. Healthy and hardy portion. We started off with the spring rolls. These were the freshest Spring rolls I have ever tasted, and the sauce was incredible. Then we moved onto the 1 Beef Pho and 1 Vegetable Pho that we ordered. I put some beef in the Vegetable Pho, and it tasted phenomenal. As well, I wanted to add that I don't even like tofu, but the tofu that was in the soup was so fresh and spongy. Nothing like you've ever tasted, in a fabulous, unexpected but tasty way. THE BEEF BROTH WAS AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE!!! MY NEW GO TO PHO PLACE!!! Shout out to Brittany and your take out crew/staff........for being Extremely hospitable and inviting. ONLY SUGGESTION-I've been in marketing & sales, the restaurant industry, and the hospitality industry for over 32 YEARS. Now I'm in Corporate Real Estate. I've travelled the whole world and what I am telling you is that YOU HAVE THE BEST PHO SOUP I'VE EVER TASTED.......AND I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE EVEN THERE!!! (and I've been in Westlake for 10 years, and I drive into that parking lot, minimally 3 times a day, for one reason or another). Why is this? How come I didn't know you were there?......Besides the fact that I never googled "Pho Westlake". I'll tell you why......from my experience and expertise, it because of your signage and name. With the name "Lee's Kitchen and Cocktails", I thought you were just another Chinese restaurant, and were loyalists to Chinatown Westlake. Which leads me back to how can we fix this, and generate you more business?! I'll tell you how you do it....I like your name, but I would have your signage company make a BIG black and white, LARGE sign in Italic, that says "PHO". Then have a bowl of soup with chopsticks coming out of it. But minimally a LARGE "PHO" in writing. I'd place it to the right of LEE'S Kitchen and Cocktails. That way every one will know what you serve, when they look at your name. Then I would go on all your social media platforms and ADD "PHO" to your name. Either LEE'S PHO-Kitchen + Cocktails, or something to that effect. LEE'S Kitchen + Cocktails-PHO. Had I seen this on the wall for the last 10 years, 3 times a day, I WOULD HAVE STOPPED, COME IN, AND BEEN YOUR CUSTOMER FOR THE LAST 2 PLUS YEARS. Please take my suggestion to heart and I can't wait to see your business thrive, even more than it already is. With love, Joanne and family

It is on the pricier side compared to other Vietnamese restaurants so it is not something we get too often. Hainan Chicken ($25): Really good and feels like a healthier option. Make sure you use all of the sauce though because that is where the flavor is. It also comes with a broth that is so good we just drank it straight. Honestly better than the pho broth. Chicken Pho with Beef Broth ($23): The shredded chicken was overcooked and the broth was just alright. The portion was generous though.
