Street pad Thai - 1-5 customizable spice but 1 is spicy rather than mild. Really good.

It is impossible to find a plate of noodles THIS large with a price this reasonable. It was impressive in both size and flavor. That is all. Would return.

The menu here is overwhelmingly large. The food itself was pretty decent and flavorful. Pretty large portions too. Our server was nice.

Sap's Ver Fine Thai Cuisine is my go-to Thai restaurant for both dine in and take out. They have a wide variety of menu options including family favorites like pad see ew, crab fried rice, noodle soups and stir frys, alongside low-fat and gluten-free items. They offer authentic Thai dishes made with fresh herbs and quality ingredients. Usually I place my to-go order over the phone and it is usually ready before the pick-up time. The restaurant is bright and fun with colorful umbrellas decorating the ceiling. Whether you get the food to-go or eat in the restaurant, you are in for a consistent experience with food and service. My go-to's: *F3 Pad Sea-Ew - Flat rice noodle or vermicelli rice noodle stir-fried with your choice of protein, Chinese broccoli and egg in special mixed soy sauce. I add chicken. *P6 Fried rice - Stir-fried rice with peas and carrot, with mix soy sauce, and side of cucumber. You can choose your protein and I have had it with chicken, beef, tofu and crab. All good choices. *P19 Rice Soup - Home-made rice soup in chicken broth with your choice of meat topped with green onion and cilantro. I add tofu. *D1 Sticky Rice with Mango My step-mom is from Thailand, so I know my Thai food and this place never disappoints. It is authentic Thai food and anything I have ordered here has been delicious, but you have to watch out for the spice because Thai food can be really hot!!!

I love Saps! It's my second favorite Thai spot (after Super Thai!) my comfort order to go was: Saps Wings (5 pieces) priced at $8 and I went with the Waterfall dry rub seasoning with kaffir lime leaves & tangy tamarind. Meing Kum ($11)wraps which is essentially lettuce pieces with dried shrimp, peanuts, small lime pieces, coconut honey sauce (very spicy!!!) and onions. For my main dish I got the Panama curry ($14) with white rice, and chicken. I loved the wings! The seasoning is always tangy, fresh and the wings fried to perfection. The lettuce wraps are just okay. This was my first time trying these! They're expensive for what it is, it's surprising how it costs more than the wings! They also included onions in my order when I have an allergy to onions and peanuts were missing. I think the nuts would have added a nice crunch. I usually order their beef fried rice so trying the curry here was new for me as well. I enjoyed the spice but it was a bit bland. I wish it came with more veggies in it and a larger portion size. All in all the curry was good but left me hungry. My favorite bites are: the wings, saps rolls, crab ragoons and beef fried rice! Can't go wrong with those.

Fried tofu appetizer

I am a bit of a creature of habit; every time I go to Regal Westgate cinema for an evening movie, I go to Sap's afterwards. And I usually get the same thing: fried tofu. I choose this appetizer because it's late and I don't want to eat too much before bed. But the fried tofu is just what I need and perfect for a late night snack. For only $7.50, you get six pieces of fried tofu, served with sweet & sour sauce and ground roasted peanuts. The sauce is so sweet and savory, good enough to eat on it's own. Service is somewhat fast, considering that the restaurant is always full and there is only one server per room. No complaints! The decor is lovely and not overdone; the ceiling is covered with colorful hanging umbrellas.

Never going back. Kept asking if everything is ok!?! No, I kept saying and ran out of the place.

Saps special panang beef curry

I have been wanting to try Sap's for so long and I'm so glad I finally did! Me and my friend both loved the food here. I got the Sap's special panang beef curry and oh my gosh it was so good. The beef is slow cooked and you could definitely tell with how tender it was. The curry itself had so much flavor and depth. My friend got the chicken masman curry and she really enjoyed it as well. If you don't like coconut I would not recommend it because you could taste the coconut milk in the sauce. We also shared some crab rangoons and they were good as well. I wish they were either a little bit bigger or came with more than 4 though. The service here was great, our server was very nice and gave great recommendations and our food came out pretty fast. Looking forward to coming back!

Service/ambiance: There's plenty of parking but the surrounding area is a bit sketchy, especially at night. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and our service was pretty quick. Food: I enjoyed the chicken pad kee mao and it was very reasonably priced at $13! My friend liked her Khao soi, but she said it was a bit salty. I wouldn't order the fried calamari again, because the coating was a little bit off and seemed more like onion rings. Would definitely come again for a quick and inexpensive meal!

Food was great - it was open very late and despite that the ambiance was serviceable. Some trash in the parking lot though. One thing I would say is that some of the food was a bit salty - would visit again though.

Stopped by Sap's for an early dinner and was blown away by how huge the menu is--there's truly something for everyone! I had the Pork Pad See Ew, which was really well-cooked and flavorful, but my husband's Pork Belly Curry (not pictured) stole the show. It was so good I wished I had ordered it myself! Can't wait to come back and try more.

I've been coming here since high school and I'm so glad they've survived all the changes to the city. It's casual, has beautiful Thai umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. It's great seeing decor that is not overly IG / content focused. Sad to see the ratings go down, I'll say it's still a really great neighborhood spot. They remain fairly consistent in recipes, but it does feel like every time they print the menu it's just price increase. Also they got rid of the green dumplings, those were my sister and I's go to. Anywho, service was quick and friendly. We visited Sunday around 4pm. Tried the Brussel sprouts, perfectly crisp maybe a little too sweet for my taste. The balsamic glaze became overwhelming. Also ordered crab rangoons, not pictured, they were crispy and tiny. It came with 4, but felt like 2 ha. We shared the beef chicken pad see ew, well balanced flavors. We split it and had another portion to take home. we asked for some chili options. They gave us a tin dish with chili paste, sambal, and some homemade brined Thai chilis. For dessert we ordered the mango sticky rice. May-summer is mango season, the mango was at its peak! Again, well balanced - Not overly sweet. Our total was around $50 with no drinks, plus tip was $60ish.. Thank you Sap's for being a staple in our neighborhood.

We ordered pad Thai , pad kee mao, pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, and Tom yum soup . Overall it is decent, I wouldn't recommend it normally but for late night dining it'll do. The service was quick and attentive and food came out at a timely manner. Everyone's favorite dish was the pineapple fried rice but the raisins threw me off a bit. We ended the meal with mango sticky rice which tasted partially uncooked. The texture tasted very mushy yet hard as if the rice wasn't cooked fully where it has a grits texture.

Parking & Service: Arrival was stress-free thanks to the massive parking lot in the strip mall. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. The Spice Factor: Interestingly, they offer two spice tiers: 1-10 and 10-15. We usually prefer a heavy heat, but found that levels 8 and 9 were still relatively mild. If you're a true spice lover, you might want to venture into the double digits! The Food: Portions are very generous and perfect for family-style dining. Everything was flavorful, though my one small note for the kitchen is that some dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. Overall, a great spot with big flavors.

The service has always been great--servers are attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates, which we've always appreciated. It's part of why we kept coming back. We usually order the fried pompano, and it's always been a favorite. But the last couple of times, the fish has been noticeably smaller--like almost half the size it used to be. That was already a letdown. What really did it for us, though, was finding a plastic to-go cup lid inside one of our drink glasses. It was buried in there, and completely threw us off. At that point, we were just done. It's a bummer because we've liked this place for a long time, but between the smaller portions and that experience, we won't be coming back.

The menu is pretty extensive too, so it was easy for everyone to find something they were excited about. I had the Tum Tad salad, which was super fresh and flavorful with a nice balance of tangy and savory. For dessert, the mango sticky rice was a standout. It was made with a black rice that actually looked kind of blue, which made it really visually fun. Not totally sure if there was some ube mixed in or just the natural color, but either way it was delicious and a little different from the usual version.

Maybe least flavored pad see that I've ever had. I had to ask for salt and chili oil to give some flavor but even that didn't work out. I used my leftover peanut sauce from the garden rolls and finally, FLAVOR! Portions are small, I'm leaving still hungry.

It's perfectly poached, incredibly tender, and paired with fragrant rice that's rich without being greasy. It also comes with a decadent bowl of soup. I usually start with the chicken skin appetizer, which iss dangerously addictive. It's crispy, light, and comes with dipping sauce. The combo plate is the way to go if you want to try the poached and fried chicken. You get a variety of textures and flavors, both juicy and crunchy. Both sauces are great to dip in and the chicken goes great with the rice. If you can handle spice, the boat noodles are a great option too. The broth is complex and spicy, with tender noodles and well-seasoned meat. The spiciness is definitely a build up, but the broth is so good you can't stop drinking it. Overall, P Thai's is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating inside with some outside, nice staff that explain everything, and a great spot to share food. Their thai tea is great too so don't skip out on that. Definitely have been here multiple times and will keep coming back.

The chicken salad is zingy and really good, but you definitely need to add the rice to balance the flavors. I had actually never had boat noodles this sour and spicy before, and while they did warn me ahead of time, it still caught me off guard. That said, it was honestly delicious, just not what I expected. One thing to note: they don't really do modifications, so just be prepared to order things as-is. I also have to give them credit for the outdoor seating area because it's such a nice setup. It's dog-friendly, shaded, spacious, and they even have a self-serve water station. My only critique is that I think the portions are a bit small for the price point. Still, I'd recommend checking it out.
