Loved the food. It would be great if they got a bigger place with a roof top patio. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious. Wow!!! This place is just as awesome as everyone describes. I had a lot of great food and service while in Denver but this place was definitely the icing on the cake to my trip. We had Cindy (possibly Christy) and she was so absolutely kind and understanding as she took us through the menu and explained the dim sum cart. We went during happy hour just for drinks but ended up having a complete meal because everything looked and tasted so good. We had the veggie spring rolls, shrimp ceviche, carne asada with chimichuri, BBQ pork (wings) braised beef with friend plantains and blueberry lemon tart for dessert. I loved everything. From the above excellent service by Cindy and the rest of the staff (they all were eager to make our night great) to every dish we ordered. This will be my first stop when I return to Denver. Was there when the power went out in all of Rino. The manager, waiter Alejandro, host staff, and kitchen were all as professional, friendly, and welcoming as anyone could ask for. The food we were lucky enough to try before the power went out was outstanding. Although we didn't get to try everything, it was delicious enough to make us want to try more. The level of friendliness and excellence in service for an out of the normal night will definitely bring us back. Ok so the idea of Latin Dim sum is pretty cool. I would say the coconut shrimp Curry soup was my favorite followed by the lamb and i will return to try the duck as well as the rice. I tried the pastor and cuban options but being Latin kind of had me a little opinionated. The drinks were really good! I will also say the atmosphere was awesome and service was on point! Final stop on our bike brew tour - time to eat! Was pleasantly surprised at the cool decor, super scrumptious food and friendly staff! Appetizers are served Latin dim sum style on little carts. Drinks are super sized - I had a white wine lime refresher suggested by our server. Was light and delicious! Hubby had a pina colada. The four of us shared two entrees - their large size dishes. Pork shoulder melted in your mouth and flavors were so good I wanted to eat the whole thing! We also the rice dish which had veggies and two kinds of cheese. Again super yummy! This is a fun restaurant with delicious food. Great for families too. Seating outside as well. You don't have to wear a Mexican wrestler mask to get in either. Enjoy! read more

This place lives up to its name! Amazing food, unbelievably fast service, awesome wait staff, and just super cool vibes all around. We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Christy, whose love for the food and the restaurant made the experience extra special. Speaking of food, let's talk about it! Every dish had that bit of something extra that really took it to the next level. The cochinita pibil (slow roasted pork shoulder) was so incredibly succulent! We were instructed to make little sandwiches, which did not disappoint. The slaw played nicely with the fattiness of the pork, and the avocado crema really tied everything together. But dare I say, the rolls (pan de agua) we were given to make sliders almost stole the show! I rarely rave about bread, but wow, that bread came out hot and fresh every time, and the dusting of salt on top was perfection. The patatas bravas were a dressed up classic, sneaking in some chorizo with an apologetic kick. If you like spicy, definitely go for the Brazilian shrimp sopa--every other red curry you have in your life will probably pale in comparison. The amount of flavor that comes through, on top of the heat, is unbelievable. Even my partner, who is not a spicy food connoisseur, was blown away (and if you're feeling tentative about the spice, ask Christy for her spicy food lifehack :) The ropa vieja was on point, with the fried sweet plantains to balance out the meat, and a bit of olive tapenade to make the dish even more interesting (I could've used a bit more olive). The beet salad also did not disappoint, with pepitas and pickled cherries keeping it lively. Lastly, we wrapped up the meal with a tarta de santiago, which was lovely medley of flavors and super moist. Can't wait to be back for happy hour or a cart service! read more

Had some Dim Sum (not chinese) along with the Braised Lamb. For Dim Sum we had Mole Wings and Pork with fried Plantains. Braised lamb came with warm corn tortillas and a lettuce dish. At first, I was skeptical of the concept of a fusion dim sum. Especially when opening in a hotel space. At the end I thought this would also be effective at work&class if the restaurant were larger. Started out with a mezcal negroni that was smoky and refreshing at the same time. Joined by my wife for a table of two our intention for smaller bites restricted us from enjoying the group plates. Delicious food, great vibes, and excellent service. I met my dad and sister here a couple weeks ago and it was awesome. We showed up right at 5 since we had read that it could get busy. We were treated to the undisclosed happy hour and each had a yummy mojito. The small plates were good for sharing and each was great in its own way. Went to this place on a random Sunday. I had such. amazing. service. It wasn't too busy, which was great. The food was also amazing, perfect size plates for family style. The fusion of Latin + Asian was PERFECT. To top it off, we wanted a dessert; but since they said since we were such great customers they let us try three different desserts (2 for free, so basically a dessert flight). The chicha punch was bitter and watery. SMB was also earsplittingly loud, even on a random Tuesday. I could not hear anything at my table and my head was ringing after dinner. The ugly - a big chunk of decor consists of posters detailing the atrocities of various conquistadors, revolutionaries, etc across Latin America under headings like 'we ruined lives'. WTF? Outstanding service from initial greeting to paying the tab! We loved our server, drinks were exceptional and the food absolutely delicious. Loved the Lamb Lollipop and the Pernil de Cerdo (slow roasted pork shoulder with crispy skin). Ask for a side of the cabbage slaw that comes with the La Gallina Loca. Trust me on this! Denver's exploding food scene gets more validation with Super Mega Bien. We loved the Latin take on Dim Sum and tried most of the items - the standouts were the shredded beef over plantains and the ceviche. Our table shared two family-style dishes as well. The pork shoulder, which was slow-roasted 10 hours and came with rolls and rice/beans. It. Was. Amazing. And, the rock stew which was also a stunner. All five of us couldn't get enough of the spicy and deeply flavorful fish broth. This restaurant is a complete winner! read more

If I could give 6 stars I would! We came on a Friday night expecting a long wait and were seated after 10-15 minutes. Started with the house made tonics and gin (los acidos/el picante) which were perfect, and then moved on to piña coladas because it was 40 degrees and what screams fall like a nice piña colada... but seriously, get one. While we were trying every drink on the menu the carts started coming by with all sorts of fun dishes to try. We had the spring rolls (so good), coconut shrimp soup which was more of a curry (amazing), and the ceviche which was really fresh and had huge pieces of seafood in it. Somehow we still had room for more so we got the half roasted duck served with gorditas so you could make mini tacos/bao buns. Service was great and everything came out super quick! We had such an awesome night at Super Mega Bien! We arrived around 6pm and was told there would be a 45 minute wait, so we went next door to Death & Co. for a cocktail. It ended up only being a 15 minute wait, but the host was very gracious and allowed us to finish our drinks before getting seated. It was a Friday night, so it was very busy, but the service was excellent and the food was delicious! Tony (I assume one of the managers) took great care of us. Tonight was our third time there in a couple months, and it continues to impress: eclectic food, zany spins on traditional bites; an incredibly fun and accommodating staff; and terrifically warm but cheerful decor, a little punk rock intermixed with intimate woods and shadows. Our favorites: the sweet potato spring rolls, the ropa vieljo (sp?), the hot stone soup. Tonight we had the acorn squash with tequila creamed spinach: insane. And our server Cory was a blast, as was the engaging floor manager whose name (a guy) we missed. They both joked with us and attended to us in earnest. Where to start? This restaurant is another overhyped hipster place in Rino with rude staff and mediocre food at best. The chicken was dry and over salted. If you ask for extra tortillas it's like you asked for extra caviar. The concept seems catchy, but it's not. Been several times since they have opened. I have sat at the bar each time and Matt, Jordan, and Brandon have been spot on everytime. The drinks are so well crafted. Typically when i think central or south american drinks, i think great fresh juices but very acidic. The case of fresh juices applies but these are well balanced. The white sangria has wine, juice, and rum. So very good! The pina colada surprised me. I thought it would be too sweet and coconut driven and it is not. A beautifully performed summer cocktail. Dont forget to try their housemade tonics. I also love the food chef Dana presents. Small plates with big flavors allows you to try the many different offerings. You will want to revisit often because they are always trying new things and have not been impressed in almost every instance. I also like that the deserts come in small portions and i recommend trying them all. I was skeptical about the chocolate tart, because chocolate is pretty standard, but this was amazingly good with creamy essence and baking spice nuance.
