The just a little above average Chinese buffet. I really enjoy their sushi options, as well as hibachi. They also have a custom soup section with pho and udon noodles. Same concept as the hibachi but with soup and it's always something I look forward to. Another thing that I feel puts this basic Chinese buffet above the rest is the fact that the cheesecakes are actually cheesecakes! Absolutely disgusted. After long day just wanted to eat good for lunch. Literally on my second plate , i see a waitress have a brand new straw in her hand, picking her ear and putting it back in the apron with the other straw she gives out to customers. Not to mention covid 19 but consuming someone elses earwax or ear infection is bad enough. Didnt want to embarrass her at a full restaurant but hopefully she reads this and knows who its from because we made eye contact after she was done picking her ear. Never again im going there. This is the best Chinese buffet. I have been to in a while. The place was clean. The food here was very fresh. There was a huge assortment of foods during lunch for only $6.99. (Seniors $5.99). They made sure to refill the buffet frequently. The servers were good too. They came by frequently to ask if we were okay. The hibachi and noodle bar was excellent! The noodle bar is similar to the hibachi bar. You have a chose of noodles, calamari, fish, shrimp, veggies, etc. You give your plate to the person at the noodle bar. Then, select your broth (chicken, oxtail, or spicy soup). It's served up in a boil with cilantro and spices. It was quite tasty. I would definitely return. read more

Back in its heyday when it was the ONLY asian buffet on this street, it would be packed outta the door with people especially on weekends. I think however, this original one is a bit more authentic than the other two Asian buffets that have opened such as the Super Grand buffet on shackleford and the one on singletary. I think this place's main seller is its dim sum. That's right. Dim sum. It's always churning out more and the chive dumplings are the best of them all. I liked their glutinous rice stuff too. Other buffets only have the siu mai but this one at least churns them out fast. Flounder used to go fast at this place. It is well cooked. They also sometimes serve snow pea leaves which are delicious but expensive. Once in a while you'll find frog legs which I think are a good thing to try for the first time at buffet. They also had good clam chowder. I am not sure why I loved their clam chowder, but it was the right amont of cream and salt without killing on the cream. Dang, I might put this place's clam chowder tied with Sweet Tomatoe's yankee clam chowder! Dessert selections are pretty good. I loved how they sometimes put pipah or lychee and lots of fruits for people to try. There's a mongolian barbecue place in the corner and I think tha'ts great for people who want to go for lots of veggies instead of the overcooked veggies that may have sat out too long on the buffet table. This is probably my first and last time here. My family came in town and we decided on a local buffet to eat. So what did I do? Googled the nearest buffet and Super Habichi came up. The Good The parking was free - That's always a good thing and there was plenty of it too. The location - It's in a shopping center so if you need to shop after eating, everything is within walking distance. The Okay The food - It's ok. It's not that bad. All the food was cooked throughly and had plenty of variety. The service - The first server was prompt and courteous. The Bad The silverware - Some of them were dirty, especially the spoons. A decent hibachi buffet that has your standard selection of Asian buffet items along with a lot of seafood choices. Located in a large plaza off the I-85/Pleasant Hill Road interchange, Super Hibachi Buffet appears to be a hotspot for all-you-can-eat Asian dining on Sunday afternoon. There's a buffet table of typical Chinese-American dishes (chicken with broccoli, sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, rice noodles, lo mein). Then, there's a buffet table with fried items (sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, popcorn shrimp). The Sunday menu also included large shrimps, crabs, broiled fish, fried frog legs, and fried dumplings. If you got dragged along with a big group and don't want Chinese food, there's a table that has pizza and macaroni and cheese too. The back of the restaurant has three stations - a noodle soup station, a stir fry hibachi station, and a sushi station. In addition, there's a salad bar, a few large trays of fruit, and a baked dessert selection. My favorite item was the hibachi. With stir fried meat and vegetables and a decent sauce, it would be the first dish I'd get if I came back to this buffet. The cooked seafood looked good and the baked fish was reasonably moist - better than how a lot of Chinese buffets do it. The restaurant was packed and the buffet lines had a lot of traffic, so I didn't see a lot of trays mixed with new food and old food. Nothing out of the ordinary with respect to taste for the Chinese-American dishes. The string beans were cooked well and I liked the rice noodles. I tried the spicy noodle soup. You can grab a plate and choose from a selection of vegetables, noodles, and seafood to build your soup. Then, the cook will heat your food and add a broth of your choice. The spicy broth was okay, but nothing that stood out. I was not impressed by the sushi. The sashimi was off-color and looked like it had been out for a while. Hesitant to try the sushi with fish, I tried a few of the veggie rolls instead. Not the best veggie rolls either, in my opinion. The fruit was fresh and there's a selection of ice cream cups and ice cream bars in the back corner of the restaurant. I should note that the tea is priced similarly to the soft drinks. Tea for 3 people was almost $5, and it wasn't amazing tea. Super Hibachi Buffet provides unlimited quantities of a wide selection of Asian-American food and seafood. I'd stay away from the sushi and wouldn't go for the soup first, but everything else is reasonable for an Asian buffet. read more

Edit: Was told if you give them a good review you would get a discount. My real review: The food is 2/5 for me. It's not good but it's not bad either. The chicken was rock solid so I waited until the cooks brought out fresh ones and it was much better. In terms of flavor, honestly,, it's just meh. If you want to eat cheap Chinese food then this place is a good option. They also have glove boxes prepared to pick up the tongs with which is a nice incentive. I knocked one star off because while it's not REQUIRED for you to wear a mask while you pick out food, it's encouraged. And I saw someone cough (without his mask) while picking out the food. There is a glass panel above the food that shields the food- but still.. when you cough, particles fly everywhere. Seeing that made my experience 2/5. read more

Great fun buffet, and awesome value. Lunch is only $7.49 (weekdays, 11:00am-3:30pm), and you can't beat that. I never used to like buffet because food tends to sit there on a pan and get old and dry. But in this place, they have a custom noodle soup bar and custom stir fry bar. No matter what time you walk in, you still can get to have freshly cooked food. You put the ingredients you want on a plate, and you choose the broth or sauce of your choice, and handle it to the cooks, and they make your custom noodle soup or stir fry dish. The noodle soup's broth was also homemade, and it was pretty flavorful and good. As the ingredients, they have fresh shrimp, chicken, lobster ball, veggies and all sorts of things. The buffet section has an array of different food. Chinese, sushi, Cajun, and Italian, American. Especially people go crazy on a mount of crawfish and clams. BBQ ribs are tender and great. No matter if you are on a special diet, vegetarian, pregnant, or want to eat substantial meals, this buffet can cater to all your needs. Good thing about this buffet is, they don't get cheap on customers. They constantly refill the buffet with new hot food. Servers are very attentive, they constantly buss the tables and refill your drinks. Sometimes I leave stuff on the plate, but they don't give you any problems. It's quite comfortable dining experience. Salad bar and dessert bar is also awesome. I always enjoy the fruits, and my favorite dessert is the vanilla pudding with some cake underneath it, bite size cheese cake, and sesame balls. They recently added shrimp cocktail sauce and melted butter to the buffet for their boiled crawfish and shrimps. But I want more variety of sushi such as shrimp tempura roll, rock and roll, and other veggie rolls (futomaki) for the sushi bar. And I want miso soup for sushi in the soup section. Also, if would be super if they have a soft serve Ice cream machine. That would make the buffet spectacular. Only request for this buffet is to organize the noodle soup bar. Maybe put a number on the order and keep a ticket on the boiling ingredients, and keep the ticket on the completes order. Today, they had a major disaster at the noodle bar. I guess somebody took my soup and took off, so the rest of 5 customers got all wrong orders. The cook needed to remake the orders, so it started forming a long line with frustrated customers. Came here for dinner with my family on a Tuesday night. The sushi looked nothing like the pictures I saw on Yelp posted by others, but the restaurant was clean and had a good variety of food. The food seemed fresh and we didn't have any issues. I wouldn't come here all the time, but I would come again if I was in the area. Side note: The highchairs are not well designed here and are unsafe. My husband and I were worried about our daughter the whole time during dinner because she almost fell out. We came here on a week day and it was not busy. The selection of food includes various Chinese dishes, seafood, soups, salad bar, & etc. the food however was subpar and we much rather prefer Hibachi Buffet on Singleton. The crab legs were mushy, and the shrimp was not deveined. The low mein was also very very bland, as if it was not seasoned at all. The sushi bar had a wide selection though & the soups were great, especially the seafood soup. The service on the other hand was not that great either, the waitresses wait around and watch you the whole time. They have a great variety of food this is why I love coming here, because everybody can find something they like to eat. They have: lo-mein, fried rice, white rice, shrimp, soups, beef broccoli, General Tso's chicken, fried shrimp, clams, hibachi Buffet, salad bar, sushi, dessert bar, and many more options. The food is delicious. It's a good place for you to run in and out real quick to grab a bite, especially if you are on lunch or have time constraints. I've never had to wait to be seated. That's also a good location for big groups of people It is located in the Assi shopping center on Pleasant Hill, so the location is early to get to. There's plenty of free parking. read more

I came here on lunch break because it was close, and on the opposite side of Pleasant hill (i.e. where most of the traffic really is) over in the shopping center anchored by Assi, and was seated right away. As far as I know you can only get their buffet ($8 or thereabouts) Like other Asian (or any) buffet, there's a lot of selection, from your fried and sweet chickens (sesame, orange, general tso), to various beef dishes, to so many sweets, to fresh fruit. There's an "American" section that had wings, french fries and pizza too. In the back of the restaurant is a sushi display, as well as a hibachi bar. If you've never had self serve hibachi, they have various servings to pile on your plate, such as broccoli, rice, noodles, onion, carrot shavings, egg (raw, in the shell) and either pork, chicken, beef or shrimp. I watched my chef like a hawk as i'm allergic to shrimp, and often get a shrimp piece, or the cook using the same utensils as he used with the shrimp that he tosses for other guests. Fortunately, no shrimp was found and the hibachi was good. All of the flavors here were tasty and didn't seem stale, like other places i've tried. The fresh fruit I tried was actually fresh, not mushy or bruised, which goes a long way with me. Not a bad place to get full in a hurry and cheap, but don't expect quality any more/less than your golden corral. It is what it is, and it's okay to me. read more

It's a buffet. An all you can eat one. And there are tons and tons of things on the buffet. I challenge you to eat every item they have, I don't think it is possible. They do have crab legs, but good luck getting many of them if any of them. I didn't go for crab legs luckily so I didn't care. I did get about all I could eat of shrimp. Hot shrimp. Cold shrimp. Shrimp in my soup. Fried shrimp. I think lots of other shrimp dishes I didn't get to. They have an interesting noodle soup bar. I stumbled on it when I thought I was doing hibachi. It is in the back left side. Middle is hibachi and right is sushi. After the soup I was too full for hibachi but I did try the sushi. It is probably better than most buffet sushi but you have to pick and choose what you get because some of it gets dried out. I actually got some of the raw fish chunks because they looked good and they were. Some of the dishes taste really good and some are just ok. Someone said if you just want massive quantities this place delivers in spades. I thought the shrimp and some of the sushi was great, so I was a happy camper. This place currently has a 4.1/5 on Google, and that's more accurate; I'd give four and a half stars if I could. This is our new go-to for "Asian" buffet food in the east metro. The sushi was on point, including the raw items. No issues with food temp there or on the hot buffet. It wasn't overcrowded for lunch. Also, they only do lunch until 3:30, and we got there at like 3:45 -- but the lady at the front only charged us the lunch price, because she was cool, we were first-timers and I guess we looked charmingly destitute. Great place to take a child. Even the highchairs were clean, and as my fellow parent Yelpers can attest, that is extraordinary. (Why do you think I'm always packing Sanihands wipes when we go out to eat?) Also, they probably have the largest variety of dishes I've seen at any buffet in the Atlanta area. Our server seemed new to waitressing -- there were some missteps there -- but so what, at least she was pleasant. Even the muzak was nice, like a 70s soft rock vibe lilting away in the background. This is one of the few sit-down restaurants I've seen where you could actually eat alone without feeling awkward. I saw several solo diners. Went here with my family of 7 and 2 kids. The servers said "follow me" and was scrambling to find a table for us. They have so many rooms to sit guest down but they squeezed us on a small table in a crowded room. We were very uncomfortable because other guests chair and our chair was hitting each other in the back. We could not get out to get more food easily. No space on table to put used plates. The servers were not very attentive. They rather stand in corners with other servers in there phone. Servers were very very rude and not at all helpful. Will not be coming back ever. Upon moving back into town recently, I've been really missing my Sydney Buffet; however, Super Hibachi Buffet definitely lessens the blow. The first thing to know about this buffet: it's HUGE. It feels like they serve just about an entire menu from a local Chinese takeout; they also have hibachi and sushi sections. Everything I had was as good as buffet food gets, but the cooked seafood was a little fishy (maybe pun intended). The desserts section is really impressive as well. The next thing to know about this buffet: you can't beat the price for all of that food! The highest the price goes is $12 on a weekend. I visited SHB around 3 pm on a Tuesday. I was not impressed with much other than the service. Several of the items were actually cold including the sesame chicken. The Mongolian beef was extremely spicy; more than other similar establishments, the white rice was very dry yet clumped tightly together, and no chocolate pudding. Whats up with that?? It's a pretty good buffet for the price. They have a lot of different stations including a hibachi, grilled and fried foods, desserts incl. ice cream and seafood and sushi. The quality wasn't bad at all for the kind of buffet it is. Weeknight dinner was $12. The place is huge. They can easily fit 200+. The interior is maintained and they put some thought into the design. It didn't look trashy at all. Not saying the design is awesome. Just saying they didn't throw some stuff together. I would be cautious about trying their fish options. They sometimes are very very very unfresh (try the fish only off a sushi piece). If you're looking for quality food then stop going to buffets. I would have to say, this place is very cheap. They have a large selection of crabs, lobster, muscles, calamari and such. Hot pot is only $2 more which it worth it because they have watercress. They have plenty of fruits for desserts and everyone walks out with an ice cream cone as well. Why not 5 stars? Even though they have lots of seafood, it doesn't mean it's fresh. The texture is nothing like how crab/lobster should be and is always over cooked (probably to hide the taste of unfresh seafood). I wonder if they purchase their seafood from places when they're dead. You have to fight for the lobster and it tastes like sodium cardboard. There is nothing grand about this buffet. Not the atmosphere, not the service, not the wet floors, not the quality, and definitely not the customers.
