Decided to try this place yesterday. Walked in and was greeted by Harmony. She was very pleasant and enthusiastic. Instead of mulling over the menu I told her to order me her favorite items. I got the chicken cordon blue which was fantastic. It had a generous crispy chicken breast with a slice of ham, melty cheesy goodness and honey mustard. The fries were skin on fresh potatoes and salted just right. What a great pick. This sandwich was so filling that I was only able to finish half of it. I also grabbed a pint of mint Oreo custard. I have no idea how long this restaurant has been tucked away in the Reno/Sparks area but I will be returning over and over. Save your time and money! First time trying this place. Placed an order at 6:20 pm which it said would be ready by 6:35 so when I showed up the worker said just a few minutes. Waited another 5 minutes to be told the same thing. Finally after 40 minutes! The food was ready. Only 2 tables with people eating so I'm trying to figure out how it takes 40 minutes to make 2 chicken sandwiches with one order of fries. Went here to try something new, tried 2 sandwiches, an order of fries and a shake. Mint Oreo shake, just their plain vanilla with some mint Oreos blended in. You can barley taste the mint flavor at all. Fries are solid value for what you get and take advantage of the sauces! The Korean BBQ sauce and Signature sauce were awesome! Sandwiches were very inconsistent, we had one chicken that was very thin and dry cooked to a crisp. The other was thicker and juicier however the breading just fell off. The pickles are good but again inconsistent some were about half an inch thick and others were paper thin. What I was most impressed by was how Rob or Ron or the big guy (forgot his name sorry) and other staff kindly asked any customer that walked in w/out a mask if they had a mask. Waited about 10 minutes for our food. The sauce selection is huge. Myself enjoyed the honey mustard and the signature sauces. I got a Nashville hot sandwich which was tasty and cooked perfectly. The fries were nice and crisp. I'll be trying the loaded fries next time. This place is a bit pricier then most places, but not bad if it's a once in awhile thing. Discovered by accident and grateful we did. Located in the Iron Horse shopping mall in the New Starbucks building. Upon arrival you enter and hopefully have an idea what you want, the staff is efficient, no wasting time here, I ordered the BACAVO, thought it was grilled but got Fried, you can order either way and I didn't specify. We ordered Fried pickles, Cajun seasoned fries and she ordered a fried chicken mini. Let's start with the pickles, best I have had anywhere, fresh, crispy, just enough batter and did I mention delicious. The Cajun fries we also very good, we ordered the small and it was plentiful. My chicken breast was golden brown on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Hers was also perfectly cooked just a lot of fried food so going to do the grilled next time. We didn't leave without their Custard, she had the single scoop special of the week on a cone and I had the Dutch Chocolate shake, not really a milk shake, to thick for a straw. Again they don't skimp on portions. It was busy and we were served in a very reasonable amount of time. I have been watching the construction here for months so I had to go in on opening day. This place is like a more expensive but better Chick-fil-a. Their signature sauce tastes like honey roasted barbecue sauce from Chick-fil-A but slightly more spicy and in my opinion tastes better. Their meat is also really tender and tastes good. This is basically a more expensive Chick-fil-a. The plate with a lot of fries only has that many because we ordered a large for that plate but no fries for the other plates and we shared from that plate. We only got shakes and not strait custard but they were also amazing and they had tons of flavors.
