The breaded avocado was melt-in-your-mouth tasty served on a toasted bun with garlic aioli. There is a full bar of sauces ranging from Korean BBQ, fry sauce and signature with at least 7 more that we didn't try. Korean BBQ was spicy perfection. The fry sauce tasted like Cane's sauce and the signature was very reminiscent of Chik-Fil-A. The service was super fast. We arrived around 3:45 and were out by 4. The ambiance is very clean and everything is well labeled (sauces, condiments and sodas). Booths and tables with chairs are available. Lastly, that frozen custard we brought home? They have tons of food options and we ended up getting the Southwest salad and the Asian sesame salad and a basket of fries. The salads were super delicious. I've been here a few times because it's so yummy! I love fried chicken. My latest visit, I tried the cordon blue chicken sandwich with a side of large loaded fries. My meal was 10/10. The BBQ tasted just like regular BBQ sauce and the buttermilk ranch was a bit disappointing. The custard is amazing--the chocolate is especially notable for a delicious extra chocolatey flavor from the Dutch cocoa. It's definitely a more relaxed place for a quick bite to eat. My husband and I love Super Chix. We go here for date lunches. When family and friends visit from out of town, we take them here. It's delicious and affordable. It's fast casual at its finest: you order at the counter, they make your food within a reasonable amount of time, and you consume it at your own pace. Options and freedom are the best, so I love the row of sauces from which you can choose. The chicken here is incredibly moist, and the servings of fries are out of this world. We have taken so many pictures of the outrageous amount of delicious fries we are served. My husband and I usually split five pieces of breaded chicken fingers and a large order of fries, and it is the perfect amount of food. I'm sorry to say that I've never tried their custard. We have a rule against eating in 2 out out of our 4 cars, and because we usually come here on a date occasion, it's usually one of the cars we can't eat in. One of these days, I'll be entrusted with a to-go custard! This parking lot isn't my favorite, because there are lots of speed bumps, and those are not friends to our lowered vehicles. They use fresh potatoes for their fries. They have a whole variety of sauces to choose from from bbq, ranch, honey mustard, fry sauce, ketchup, and even Korean bbq sauce. The store has a lot of tables which is good because sometimes you have to search for a clean one. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes you have a guy who could care less about helping you, but they do because they have to, and sometimes you get someone super friendly. We drove by this place a few weeks ago and after looking it up, decided we would try it the next time we had a craving for fried chicken. Today was that day. We were disappointed to find out that they use peanut oil to fry both the chicken and fries. Since my wife has a peanut allergy, this left her in the cold. To be fair, Chick-fil-A also uses peanut oil, but they use 100% refined peanut oil. So my wife is able to eat their chicken without risking death. This place doesn't confirm if they use refined or crude, so we decided not to roll the dice. We got her some custard and bought some nuggets for her at Chick-fil-A afterwards. I ordered the Nashville Hot, the cheese fries, and vanilla custard. All of which were delicious. I'm glad I had the custard as the Nashville Hot was hot, hot, hot (in a good way)! The cheese fries are smothered in Queso Blanco (white cheese) and were perfectly crisp. I was on my own eating them, though, so I couldn't finish them. As much as I enjoyed my meal, I can't say we'll be back for the chicken. My wife accidentally took a sip of the water bottle I used after eating the chicken and her throat began to itch. We were able to order food while we waited to start playing. By the third round we were in the lead and super excited that we were going to win. The fourth round took all our points and we lost. This location has been open about a month and they specialize in Chicken & Custard which is located just under the name Super Chix on the sign. After entering you go to the order counter to the left where they have two order stations under the menu board. They also have a stack of paper menus you can review. My wife decided to try the chicken tenders and I settled on the Cheesy BBQ Chicken Sandwich. We ordered a large fry to share. When my wife asked about dipping sauces, we were told they are all located at the sauce station and we could try what we want. After paying we were given a numbered table marker and told we could have a seat. They said they would bring our order to us in about 10 to 15 minutes. They have various tables, booths, outdoor seating and did not appear to busy for eat-in. A few other table were seated. We did notice quite a few people picking up orders to-go. We picked a booth along the wall and then went to explore the sauce station. Sure enough, they have multiple sauces. We picked a few, grabbed some napkins and went back to our table. When our food arrived, we were very impressed, it looked awesome. As we began to eat, we both agreed this is delicious and a great concept. The chicken was delicious! We both also thought, we would come here before Chick-fil-A. And we really like Chick-fil-A! It appeared they had someone serving the dining area because he came to our table several times to check on us and even came rushing over to take our trays from my wife when went to take them to the garbage. We talked with someone who we believed was the manager. We learned they are a rapidly growing chain and they have plans for another location, probably in South Reno. Researching a little on my phone, we discovered this small chain was sold from Yum brands (the owners of KFC, Pizza Hut, Wingstreet, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill) to the creator of Super Chix, a prior Yum brands employee and a group of investors. Our cashier was helpful as we needed help navigating all of the options they give to make the food just the way you want it. Service 10/10. The place was pretty clean considering the pace and customer count. The layout screams cafeteria-ish. The décor is interesting & worth taking a closer look at. Atmosphere 8/10 Grabbed a table and our food was out to us quickly. The menu consists of: great salad options, tenders, sandwiches, appetizers, custards (ice creams) they make on site. Everything is fresh not frozen and it is reflected in the quality of the food. Quality 10/10 The sauce bar is an awesome feature. The Korean BBQ is amazing. Taste 10/10. So this review is for takeout only but everything was good enough where now I want to revisit for dine in and will update then. We ordered the fried pickles, chicken tenders, Nashville hot salad and frozen custard. The fried pickles were delicious but a little soggy by the time we got home-popped them in the air fryer and they perked right up! We had both the grilled and breaded tenders-I liked the breaded better but the grilled were also seasoned well. The chicken was large and tender-this is probably one of my top 3 places now for chicken tenders in Reno area. The salad was too spicy for me and I'll try another kind when I return. The food came out in a timely matter, not too long a wait and to be honest (even though it just opened) the service was actually pretty dang good here. As far as the food goes, I will be honest with you all and say that it was good... but not phenomenal to the point where I prefer it over Chick-Fil-A, which to me would be the place I'd compare this too. The Sandwich was good, just not something different that I have had already. The Buffalo Ranch Salad was just a average salad with their buffalo chicken over chopped lettuce, tomatoes , and a little bit of cheese. The fries were good as long as you dipped it in sauce and the fried pickles were also good if you had it with sauce. BUT I will say the Custard is so worth getting. This chicken spot is soo good! Husband and I agreed that it tastes like chick fil a on steroids! I ordered a simple chicken slider, chicken tenders, fries and a chicken tender kids meal. This review is solely based on the food. I ordered their food via Door Dash, so I haven't been to the restaurant yet. Crispy Avo Salad - This salad has become a favorite. I loved everything about this. Let's talk toppings: breaded avocado stuffed with Gouda cheese is everything! It was a large full avocado, cut in half, stuffed with cheesy goodness, and was super delicious. Fresno peppers - at first I was hesitant because this kind of pepper was new to me and I had no idea what it tasted like. But I quickly became obsessed, reminded me of a jalapeño pepper but red and thinner, was mild in spice. It complimented the salad nicely, crunchy and had a hint of heat at the end. The tomatillo dressing was very flavorful, with the size of this salad, I needed another side of dressing. If you order this, don't forget to add more dressing! *note - I appreciated that they put the salad and the avocado in separate containers to avoid sogginess. Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich - This was a pretty big chicken sandwich. Ordered it grilled, the chicken was flavorful. The Korean BBQ sauce was tasty, has a little kick to it. The crunchy pickles were a great addition. The slaw was disappointing, the sandwich only came with a small portion of it and I feel like I didn't get the full flavor profile of this sandwich. This sandwich definitely needed more slaw, doesn't look like the photo on their website (but what food really does). Looking forward to trying this breaded next time. Chicken tenders (breaded) - Definitely a must try. You can tell they're fresh and not frozen. I wouldn't say they're jumbo, but they're fairly big. You can order them in 2, 3, 4, and 5 pieces. I recommend getting more because they're good. You can get them breaded or grilled and tossed in two different sauces. Don't forget the dipping sauces! With an order of 4 tenders, we got to choose up to 4 sauces, which was awesome. You can order more sauces for $0.29/ea. Not sure these tenders should be at their current price point, a little overpriced for what you get (4 piece for $10.99). They don't come with fries, just a la Carte. Fries - Nothing like fresh hand cut fries! I love everything about these fries! Perfectly soft and crispy. They come in 2 sizes: regular and large! Go big on the fries! You can get them tossed in your seasoning of choice: we tried the rosemary pepper and they were on point. They also have salt, pepper, & sweet seasonings (fries tossed in salt & sugar - not to be mistaken with sweet potato fries). Sauces - Ok, we had to try almost all of the sauces. I liked them all, you definitely need to order a dipping sauce party when you eat here. I think it's great that you can order their sauces by the pint too. - Signature sauce: sweet, smoky, makes for a good fry sauce - Honey Mustard: one of the best I've had. Perfectly sweet and tangy - Buffalo: if you like a good Buffalo sauce, you will love this - Nashville Hot: if you like spicy, this is your sauce - Korean BBQ: tangy, spicy, with a hint of sweetness They have frozen custard with a variety of flavors. The receipt on the bag said the samething (crispy chicken avocado sandwich). I ended up turning around and going back in, where the guy who checked me out (i think is the owner?), looked at the receipt and hugely overapologized. I honestly was ready to pay for the correct sandwich b/c i hadn't seen that he rang me up wrong. He had them make my sandwich over without ANY issues, realizing he accidentally hit the wrong button when compiling my order. When I got out to the car I saw they added in the 2 piece grilled tenders again too, unnecessary and maybe a mistake? But it was nice to get the correct sandwich, which i love, gigantic and filled up. While I enjoy the food, I just really appreciated the customer service particularly on this visit with the mistake. The employee apologized a lot for the mistake and I kept reassuring that it wasn't a big deal, i just wanted the right sandwich for craving reasons. We came here for a late night snack the other day. We got their loaded fries and a to go pint of frozen custard. Their loaded fries are sooo good - smothered in queso blanco, bacon, and green onions. When you order to go, they also put the toppings on the side for you - no soggy fries here. Their frozen custard is the perfect texture. The chocolate covered strawberry flavor is super rich in the chocolate flavor, but gets perfectly balanced when you get a bite with a strawberry. The mint Oreo flavor is amazing as well! read more

When we arrived at Super Chix there were only 4 other people eating in so we decided on an eat in order. We ordered the Deluxe (with breaded chicken) and Bacavo Ranch (with grilled chicken) sandwiches, fries and a Reeses peanut butter cup cold fusion to share. When our food was brought out, no fries? Apparently although we had a whole conversation about ordering just 1 fry to share (in front of the cashier) she missed putting it on the order. We decided to just go without and have our sandwiches which were actually really good. The chicken was tender and juicy on both. The cold fusion was nothing special, just like basic ice cream with Reeses pieces on top. The restaurant is clean with music playing in the background, parking right in front, but it is, in my opinion pricey for what you get. Gave 4 stars for the cleanliness of the restaurant, the speed in which our food was brought to our table, and the tastiness of the sandwich. read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon! Was super impressed by the food. The rosemary fries ! We didn't try the custard but that will be next time! Only thing was they were so short staffed, running around like crazy and food sitting waiting to be given to the customers. Then the line would back up, I felt bad for the girl running the register and trying to make sure everyone got their food hot. read more

Got the chicken salad. Chicken was flavorful but they didn't give you very much. The salad needed more toppings. It only had a few cherry tomatoes and some Cheese. Needed something else- cucumbers, olives, croutons. The sandwich was decent but it was $10 and didn't even come with fries. Shake was good but not thick enough and didn't have whip cream. Should have tried the custard instead- it looked delicious. Food was ok but $$ I live in California and am used to paying more but $30 for one salad, one shake, and one sandwich seemed like a lot. read more

I love the addition of Super Chix in Sparks. The customization of your food options is really nice and they have TONS to choose from. My two favorite sandwiches have to be the Korean bbq or the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I also add coleslaw to the Korean Bbq one and it is 10/10 stars. They have two different sizes of fries and they also have three different seasonings and the option for loaded fries.... on top of all their sauces available at the condiment table. Talk about flavor options! My only complaint is that it's fairly pricey for "a chicken sandwich and fries" BUT the flavors are so fantastic it makes for a nice treat. read more
