Pretty good! Service was awesome and friendly. We easily got extra bowls and takeout containers when we needed them. The chicken tenders are large, tender, and seasoned well. The fries came out crispy hot! A few were bordering on extra crispy aka slightly burnt. The sauce bar is amazing. Loved that we could try all of the sauces. My favorite was the Nashville hot. The BBQ tasted just like regular BBQ sauce and the buttermilk ranch was a bit disappointing. The custard is amazing--the chocolate is especially notable for a delicious extra chocolatey flavor from the Dutch cocoa. It's definitely a more relaxed place for a quick bite to eat. We're glad to have it in the neighborhood rotation for fried chicken tenders and sandwiches.

What a difference half a year makes! Thank you to Kyle for reaching out to me in regards to my experience and also to Audrey. I was able to go in this week and had the best sandwich. I ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich it was piping hot, but amazing. Customer service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely be coming back. I noticed the endless custard pints in the freezer might be worth a stop on the way home to throw in the freezer.

Always clean, great food. Staff is always helpful leading the way on new things. Ownership seems to be involved and that's all I need. And a pint of chocolate custard for home!

My husband and I love Super Chix. We go here for date lunches. When family and friends visit from out of town, we take them here. It's delicious and affordable. It's fast casual at its finest: you order at the counter, they make your food within a reasonable amount of time, and you consume it at your own pace. Options and freedom are the best, so I love the row of sauces from which you can choose. The chicken here is incredibly moist, and the servings of fries are out of this world. We have taken so many pictures of the outrageous amount of delicious fries we are served. My husband and I usually split five pieces of breaded chicken fingers and a large order of fries, and it is the perfect amount of food. I'm sorry to say that I've never tried their custard. We have a rule against eating in 2 out out of our 4 cars, and because we usually come here on a date occasion, it's usually one of the cars we can't eat in. One of these days, I'll be entrusted with a to-go custard! This parking lot isn't my favorite, because there are lots of speed bumps, and those are not friends to our lowered vehicles. Nevertheless: it's worth the possible bottom scraping for the chicken and fries.

Update from 06/23 visit: A quick lunch with the hubbs and our youngest son. I didn't have much of an appetite, but I was craving something sweet and salty. I ordered their pretzel and m&m shake and vanilla ice cream for our son. Hubby ordered a pastrami melt and fries. I stole a few fries, and everything was over seasoned. We waited too long for this order. There was only one other table waiting. We moved to two different tables due to sticky tables. I love their condiment bar. I would come back for a handspun shake, but will have to pass on their pastrami.

Food seems pretty fresh here. Their fried avocado sandwich is pretty cool if you're not craving meat. I think it's great they have a vegetarian friendly alternative.

When I am in the mood for a chicken sandwich, I come to super chix. The sandwiches are always cooked perfectly, I never have any weird chicken in my sandwiches. The fries are great. They use fresh potatoes for their fries. They have a whole variety of sauces to choose from from bbq, ranch, honey mustard, fry sauce, ketchup, and even Korean bbq sauce. The store has a lot of tables which is good because sometimes you have to search for a clean one. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes you have a guy who could care less about helping you, but they do because they have to, and sometimes you get someone super friendly. It's definitely a solid chicken sandwich if that's what you're in the mood for.

We drove by this place a few weeks ago and after looking it up, decided we would try it the next time we had a craving for fried chicken. Today was that day. We were disappointed to find out that they use peanut oil to fry both the chicken and fries. Since my wife has a peanut allergy, this left her in the cold. To be fair, Chick-fil-A also uses peanut oil, but they use 100% refined peanut oil. So my wife is able to eat their chicken without risking death. This place doesn't confirm if they use refined or crude, so we decided not to roll the dice. We got her some custard and bought some nuggets for her at Chick-fil-A afterwards. I ordered the Nashville Hot, the cheese fries, and vanilla custard. All of which were delicious. I'm glad I had the custard as the Nashville Hot was hot, hot, hot (in a good way)! The cheese fries are smothered in Queso Blanco (white cheese) and were perfectly crisp. I was on my own eating them, though, so I couldn't finish them. As much as I enjoyed my meal, I can't say we'll be back for the chicken. My wife accidentally took a sip of the water bottle I used after eating the chicken and her throat began to itch. This signals to me that the peanut oil they use is not refined. If she can't eat with me, I won't eat there. We will, however, likely return for the custard.

I recently came here to try it out and was surprised at how good everything tasted. I ordered the chicken bacon sandwich and a side of the loaded fries. Everything is made to order and was very fresh. They offer a whole arrangement of sauces, which I thought was a nice touch. If you're in the sparks area and are looking for an above average fast food joint super chix is a great option!

While visiting Reno we were looking for a chicken place. We decided on Super Chix and it didn't disappoint. There was something for everyone. We ordered some Fried Chicken Tenders, Nashville Hot Sandwich, Cajun Fries, Salt Fries and a ton of sauces. My fav was the Korean BBQ. But other group favs were the Fry Sauce & Signature Sauce. For desert we decided on a Strawberry Shake & Peanut Butter Cup Fusion. Both absolutely delish!!!

Have you ever wanted a chicken sandwich on a Sunday with the same or better quality than Chik fil A? Look no further because Sparks now has another high tier chicken place. They got everything here, chicken, fries, sauce bar, custard it's almost like the five guys of the chicken world. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich breaded and I always use the spicy chicken to gauge a chicken place and I can say that I was left quite satisfied this chicken released an explosion of flavor in my mouth that left me speechless. Give this place a try before it starts getting too popular.

Good chicken for fast food. I had the coleslaw and it was fine. My husband had the fries and they were very good - lots of seasoning and lots of fries! I had the bacon avocado sandwich and it was tasty. Also had a custard- it was a nice ending to the meal we shared. I almost forgot one of the best parts! The sauces - a nice variety of sauces for the chicken and for the fries.

My wife has been eyeing this place on Yelp since it opened and we decided to check it out about 11:30am on a Saturday. This location has been open about a month and they specialize in Chicken & Custard which is located just under the name Super Chix on the sign. After entering you go to the order counter to the left where they have two order stations under the menu board. They also have a stack of paper menus you can review. My wife decided to try the chicken tenders and I settled on the Cheesy BBQ Chicken Sandwich. We ordered a large fry to share. When my wife asked about dipping sauces, we were told they are all located at the sauce station and we could try what we want. After paying we were given a numbered table marker and told we could have a seat. They said they would bring our order to us in about 10 to 15 minutes. They have various tables, booths, outdoor seating and did not appear to busy for eat-in. A few other table were seated. We did notice quite a few people picking up orders to-go. We picked a booth along the wall and then went to explore the sauce station. Sure enough, they have multiple sauces. We picked a few, grabbed some napkins and went back to our table. When our food arrived, we were very impressed, it looked awesome. As we began to eat, we both agreed this is delicious and a great concept. The chicken was delicious! We both also thought, we would come here before Chick-fil-A. And we really like Chick-fil-A! It appeared they had someone serving the dining area because he came to our table several times to check on us and even came rushing over to take our trays from my wife when went to take them to the garbage. We talked with someone who we believed was the manager. We learned they are a rapidly growing chain and they have plans for another location, probably in South Reno. Researching a little on my phone, we discovered this small chain was sold from Yum brands (the owners of KFC, Pizza Hut, Wingstreet, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill) to the creator of Super Chix, a prior Yum brands employee and a group of investors. The current CEO of Super Chix is a former Five Guys multi-unit franchisee.

What a fun day we had, but by the time we got here, we were all starving. For me, it was a burger kind of day. I really wanted the fries too, but unfortunately, I've learned that sometimes fries and my stomach just don't agree, so I skipped them this time. The place was busy and hopping when we arrived. You could definitely tell that everyone thought this was the place to be! Even though it was busy, the atmosphere was cheerful and inviting. Our group was definitely on the burger train. One friend ordered a cheeseburger with cheesy fries, and those fries looked SO good! Another friend got a cheeseburger with regular fries, while the last person just went with a cheeseburger. And the verdict? Everyone really enjoyed their burgers! Inside was very clean, the atmosphere was cheerful, and overall it was just a great place to end such a fun day. After hours of bridal shopping, laughing, and helping our bride-to-be find her perfect dress, a good burger was exactly what we needed! No complaints here--just happy friends, full stomachs, and another great memory from a wonderful day! ‍

The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

The Ferney Taco Bell is creating dangerous traffic conditions. At what point do law enforcement,…read morethe Fire Marshal, or another local authority need to step in and address what is happening at this Taco Bell? On the evening of October 1, 2026, I spent approximately two hours trapped in the drive-thru at the Fernley Taco Bell. I understand that 8:00 p.m. is part of the dinner rush, so I expected some delay. What I did not expect was a situation that became so disorganized that, in my opinion, it created an actual public-safety hazard. When I finally reached the speaker, I was told that the restaurant was not accepting cash or card payments and that customers could only order through the Taco Bell mobile app or DoorDash. There was no sign or warning before entering the drive-thru explaining this. A simple sign stating, "Mobile and DoorDash orders only -- no cash or card payments currently accepted," could have prevented much of what happened. Instead, customers continued entering a drive-thru they effectively could not use, and once inside, there was no practical way to leave. The backup became enormous. At one point, the line extended toward AutoZone, while a second line formed across the street toward the Grocery Outlet parking lot. The two lines essentially formed a "Y," with drivers competing to merge into the same drive-thru. During the roughly two hours I was stuck there, I personally counted at least four near-collisions and witnessed one road-rage confrontation. Traffic flow was being blocked, drivers were becoming increasingly frustrated, and customers who finally reached the speaker were furious when they learned that normal payment methods were not being accepted. Several people were yelling profanities at the employees. I actually felt bad for the employees dealing with that situation. If employees truly are not permitted to put up a temporary sign warning customers, then management or corporate policy needs to change immediately. If they simply chose not to warn customers, that is even more concerning. Either way, the result was the same: a restaurant's drive-thru problem spilled into surrounding traffic and created what appeared to me to be a legitimate safety issue. I will also accept responsibility for staying in line after realizing something was obviously wrong. I had just finished a stressful day at work, really wanted a Mexican Pizza, and kept thinking the line would eventually start moving. That was my mistake. Unfortunately, this was not my first strange experience at this location. A few months earlier, I went there for breakfast and the employee at the speaker politely told me, essentially, that she was not ready for a customer and suggested I go to Burger King instead. She was polite about it, but the situation was so unusual that I remembered it. After what happened on October 1, however, this has gone beyond simply being poor customer service. When a drive-thru backup is interfering with surrounding traffic, drivers are nearly colliding, road-rage incidents are occurring, and customers are effectively trapped for extremely long periods of time before learning they cannot even purchase food normally, someone needs to address the operation of this location. Read the other reviews and decide for yourself. There appears to be a long-running customer-service problem at this location, and after what I witnessed on October 1, I believe it has reached the point where management, Taco Bell corporate, and potentially local authorities should determine whether changes are necessary to prevent another dangerous traffic situation. Customer service should never become a public-safety issue. After this experience, I will not be returning to this Taco Bell.
