We came around 0715 and we were seated right away. Melissa was very helpful and attentive. Everything was delicious. They also have GF options. I ordered the GF pancake, i'd say it was decent. This place came up as a suggestion so here we are. First thing we noticed was the friendly service. Warm smiles and friendly people. I like that Food was pretty good. Hubby really likes his Southwest Omelet. Me... my omelet was ok but it was my fault, I forgot to request cheese on my omelet. ‍ Of course I wasn't asked, but I won't hold it against him. This place is tasty. Just be careful if you have allergies because I almost got glutened. I ordered the gluten friendly pancakes and when they came out they didn't come with an indicator stick that most places use so I asked if they were gluten free and they in fact were not. Accidents happen but they should have a better system because a small accident like putting in the wrong order would make me sick for the rest of the day. I went to Sunshine Breakfast Bar on Memorial Day with 3 friends. They were busy but sat us right away.Our server was attentive, prompt, and friendly. He was on point with everything. One friend had the mimosa flight, and was very pleased with it. We were all surprised at the nice sized glasses, vs the small ones we've seen in flights at other restaurants. We stopped in yesterday morning for breakfast based on all the great reviews I saw mentioning how good the food was (especially the eggs Benedict). And I have to admit the reviews and hype were right. The traditional eggs Benedict I ordered were delicious and the the eggs were perfectly cooked. The home fries that came with were perfectly seasoned (and I am normally one that adds salt to almost everything.) My husband had the special Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Waffle and added on 2 eggs scrambled and bacon. His waffle was the perfect balance of sweetness. (Sometimes things can be overdone, but this one was great.) The bacon was crispy and delicious. He said the regular coffee he got was great too. Our server Dana was excellent and very attentive. Since we used the waitlist feature in Yelp we didn't have any wait, but when we got there about 845am on a Tuesday there was not a wait anyway. We did opt to sit outside which was great and even though it was a bit chilly the outdoor heaters made it the perfect environment. I had occasion to use the bathroom and it was spotless. The pricing for the meal was decent. The ala cart items (like eggs, bacon, and coffee) did add up and made our bill a little higher than expected, but all in all it was a great visit and we would totally come back. read more

We were looking to try a new breakfast spot so decided to give them a try. The Yelp wait list is great, I recommend joining before you head over bc they get really busy on the weekend. The cafe is cute, medium sized with a small outdoor area that's dog friendly. I tried the Greek avocado toast which was yummy, a little messy to eat but full of flavor. The sweet cream pancakes are delicious!! I like that they are just a tiny bit crispy and not too sweet. My husband got the eggs Benedict and said it was average, not a ton of flavor. As a Spring Training visitor... I randomly found this place and stopped by for a quick breakfast. From the host seating me till the time I left... this place has clearly has a "customer first" mindset. Host smiled and made eye contact, I was seated right away, greeted immediately by Raya (my server), quick to anticipate what I needed, check ins, meaningful conversations, quick to get me the bill and gracious when I left. They serve the best pancakes in existence and if you don't like pancakes it's only because you haven't had pancakes here. The rest of the menu is also solid but why even bother when you can have the best flapjacks you'll ever eat. They're just like grandma used to make, assuming grandma was a cook at Sunshine. The only thing better than the golden brown miracle batter is the service. Specifically Raya, who is the Michael Jordan of her craft. That's not a knock on the rest of the staff who are outstanding in their own right. Raya just so happens to be the GOAT!!
