Why wasn't this place packed? It was so good! If you are trying to eat healthier this is the place to go! Had a Quinoia Bowl with Avocado. Delicious and filling! Wanted a Tahiti but they were out

Culinary Gangster provided an exceptional dining experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and excellent presentation. The service was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. Every aspect of the experience was enjoyable from start to finish. I would gladly return and highly recommend Culinary Gangster.

Very delicious food! We tried the American burger with the works the cheese fries and the Riast Beef sandwich that came with pasta salad My burger was juicy and flavorful with the perfect amount of cheese served on a brioche bun. The French fries had the right amount of cheese sauce. The roast beef sandwich was piled high with roast beef. Pasta salad was a bit sweet but some people might like it like that just not my preference. I tried a drink special called "the cha cha" it was really yumm made with strawberry juice, lime juice, coconut water and keyed one vodka. You could also have it served as a mocktail

This little shop is easy to find, has plenty of parking, a busy but chill vibe, and a playlist! You order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you. There were tons of choices and I had some decision paralysis but staff answered all my questions and were all very nice. I met a friend and we each got bowls, plus shared an order of very tasty crispy cauliflower. I didn't care for my breakfast bowl, but I'd chalk it up to a personal preference as to how the eggs were cooked, not that there was actually anything wrong with the food. I let the staff know and then I ordered a bowl of tomato soup that was easily in my top 3 tomato soups around the valley. Definitely liked this place and can't wait to go back to try more and enjoy more cauliflower!

Protein Bowl

Low key spot delivering some incredibly flavorful food and lovely outdoor atmosphere! We were throughly surprised by this all day breakfast gem. Service was quick and friendly too. 10/10 recommend the Protein bowl. Loved the mix of flavors that each ingredient provided and it was a good portion to recoup after a workout.

Shroom burger. Will fill you up.

"I wanna be a gangsta.." well if you do go here. Four of us loved every bit of our food. I went with the shroom burger. Kabashed the mayo and the cheese. I do wish they offered like a steak sauce on it, after all shrooms grilled and onions need it. I switched from beef to veggie, which is the impossible burger. The fries were great, although extra. Service was impeccable. Great place, pricing the usual for Scottsdale

Ordered from Uber Eats yesterday and the gyro / pasta salad combo was delicious. Usually delivery sucks, this did not. Highly recommend! Looking forward to trying the buffalo chicken wrap and other things next time.

Great food. You don't leave hungry. Fries are very shareable. We sat outside, very clean and service was great.

Southwest Salad (and popcorn cauliflower)

5 stars overall! Food - 5 star. The popcorn cauliflower is a bit pricey as an appetizer, but for sure it's very tasty. I had the southwest salad, again. This is one of those places I've been to three times and I order the same thing every time. I'd like to try something else but every time I get there, I remember how good the Southwest salad was and I ended up getting the same thing. Service - 5 star overall. I almost always deduct for any place that puts the pressure on you to add a tip when you're placing your order and you're not even getting true table service. My rule is I will never tip in these circumstances after a few years of being "guilted" into tips and getting slow service, cold food, or apathetic or rude help with refills/request for extra sauce. I zero'd out the tip when i paid (as usual) and got total friendly service, extra sauce and tons of smiles with it! Total pro's - was so happy to throw a $5 in the tip jar when I left. This is 3rd visit and it's always the same great service. I might actually break my rule and tip up front next time.... But either way keep it up Gangsta and I'll hit ya every time!

Definitely order the burger! It was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. If I lived in the area I would definitely frequent this place. Employees were helpful with recommendations and pleasant. The location is store front but provided indoor and outdoor seating. We also tried a wrap and pasta salad. I was not a fan of the pasta salad. The wrap was huge and easily shareable. It was just ok for me..bc I prefer my meat to be warm.

The staff at Culinary Gangster were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The open front design that flows into the outdoor seating area gives it a nice, relaxed vibe. We started off with the gangster fries--they were decent, but not something I'd order again. My husband ordered the Shroom Burger while I went with the Smashed Avocado Chicken Sandwich. Both dishes were packed with flavor and delicious. It wasn't until I looked back at my photos later that I noticed they forgot to bring out the pasta salad that was supposed to come with my sandwich, but overall the experience was enjoyable.

Normally, I go to the Phoenix location but lately it seems to be closed so we decided to check out the Scottsdale location which is closer to my friend. I love how they have both the indoor and outdoor seating and they actually have a fountain drink dispenser I really should've taken some pictures, but I got my usual which is the jalapeño popper burgers, the popcorn, cauliflower, and the gangster fries. We share the popcorn cauliflower and the gangster fries. I have to say this time around the breading for the popcorn cauliflower was super delicious. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants or burger places.

When I told the server, he replaced it, but didn't give everyone new glasses. Only me. My friend ordered a wrap and asked for it to be gluten free. The person who brought the food told her that it was gluten free. The server, who had taken the order, came back and told her it wasn't gluten free. SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS Butters Pancakes and Cafe…read more8300 N. Hayden Road Scottsdale, 85258 We were going to the Maricopa County Home Show at Westworld and needed to have some breakfast first. This is located about 3 miles from there. Other reviewers all noted that the place is usually packed, and today was no exception. However, the line to get in moves quite fast and we only waited about 10 minutes. When we were called for our table, we were given menus and fresh ice cold glasses of water were on the table. This restaurant is known for having fresh squeezed orange and/or grapefruit juice, so that was the first thing that was ordered. There is a machine loaded with oranges in the front, and the juice was a real treat. Companion ordered coffee, and I ordered a cappuccino, which came in a large (proper) cup with a lovely head of foamed milk on top. For the main courses, companion ordered steel cut oatmeal which came with little cups of brown sugar and raisins. Companion totally enjoyed the large bowl. For myself, I ordered french toast topped with apple/cinnamon glaze. It was delicious, but I could not possibly finish it. I felt so sorry for it to not be eaten, but I had to leave it! There are many servers on the floor and it became apparent that they all covered for each other. As for the food, they must have a dozen cooks in the back because as crowded as it was, our food came out quickly and really hot. I'm glad I don't get to this area often, because I'd blow up like a balloon with the quality of this food. Sanitation was as it should be, and the noise level was acceptable. 5 stars Sentry - Restaurant Reviews Tempe, Arizona 85282 Find us on Yelp, Google, and all around the world. Stop what you're doing and go to Butters. Seriously. Whatever plans you had for breakfast, cancel…read morethem. Tell your family you love them, grab your car keys, and prepare to experience what happens when someone takes pancakes entirely too seriously... in the best possible way. Here's the most important advice I can give you about this restaurant... GET THE PANCAKES. Ordering a hash? Get pancakes. Omelet? Pancakes. Breakfast sandwich? Believe it or not... pancakes. Ordering pancakes? Congratulations, you're halfway there. Get more pancakes. Luckily, Butters seems to understand that pancakes are not simply a breakfast item but a fundamental human right, so most dishes offer them as a side option. Take that option. Every. Single. Time. These fluffy little discs of happiness are absolutely delicious. I don't know what they're putting in the batter, but I'm reasonably confident it involves butter, magic, and at least one ingredient the FDA hasn't gotten around to investigating yet. The rest of the experience was excellent too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept my coffee flowing at a rate that suggested they were either genuinely concerned about my hydration or actively trying to see how much caffeine a middle-aged man could consume before achieving the ability to hear colors. One warning... this place gets PACKED. Apparently the secret is out, and half of Scottsdale has already discovered the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Pancakes. Get there early or prepare to wait. But trust me, it's worth it. Butters is fantastic. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and pancakes that deserve their own national holiday. Now stop reading this review and go get some pancakes. And don't forget to order pancakes with your pancakes.

The six of us were seated across from the bar, and it was HOT . I started sweating and needed to use the menus as a fan and drink water to try and cool off. The restaurant had already been open for almost 2 hours, so I am not sure why it was so hot inside (others in our party were hot too, so I wasn't just me). Positives are the restaurant's beach decor and the hamburgers. Several people in our party ordered burgers, and they were cooked to perfection and the fries were really good! Negatives are very few seafood menu options and the fish tacos were terrible. They were drowning in a mayonnaise based slaw. The corn tortillas were really fresh and tasty, but when I bit into my taco I could mostly only taste mayonnaise and the pickled onions. Our friends even made an unsolicited comment that my tacos did not look good. Luckily, I selected fries as my side, because they were the best thing on my plate. With a name like Montauk, and the beach decor, I expected more fresh seafood options on the menu. More than half the menu was not seafood (Mediterranean platter, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, brussels sprouts, salads, etc.). Unfortunately, Montauk does not live up to the hype.

We both got skinny margaritas, and they were really good. You could actually taste the tequila and fresh ingredients rather than an overly sweet margarita mix. We both ordered the Breakfast Burrito for $14, which comes with housemade chicken sausage, roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, green chilis, mozzarella, cheddar, and fire-roasted tomato salsa. We also got ketchup on the side. The burrito was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff explained that they focus on fresh, locally sourced, high-quality ingredients, and you could definitely taste the quality. The ambiance was great too. I loved the wood details throughout the restaurant, everything looked clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My only disappointment is that there isn't an Amelia's closer to me because I would absolutely visit often. I hope they're able to maintain the quality and local feel because the food, ingredients, service, and atmosphere really stood out. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

The place was buzzing with loud electronic music and tons of people dining -- I think because the ceiling is so high the noise is amplified. Because it was so busy it took a while for the server to come over but he did with waters which was nice but then the menus are all on QR codes -- which is annoying because it is hard to look at everything and because the menu is very confusing it would have been nice to see everything on paper. The menu is confusing because the selections are very odd -- I thought it was a mexican-asian/sushi fusion restaurant -- which I guess it is but it was still really hard to create the best food experience when I couldn't see everything available. My friend was hungry so she immediately put in an order for calamari and I was being called to order the blood orange margarita slushie. When the margarita came it was like nothing I have ever seen before. It looked more like a milkshake or like a creamsicle. I dove in thinking it would be too sweet but it was actually quite delicious and I sucked it back in a second! Also I put in an order for the edamame which sounded really good in the description -- "woodfired" and spicy miso butter -- but when they came they were really spicy and the woodfired element was making me cough, strangely enough -- I couldn't finish them! Finally after waiting forever we got the drinks and apps. It then took another 15 minutes to order our food. Again it was busy and my friend and I were catching up so it wasn't a big deal. We wanted a fairly light dinner so we just ordered one roll -- the Fuego, which had yellowtail and a whitefish, chili, cilantro and cucumber plus a pico de gallo on top -- it was very flavorful -- although a bit spicy for those who are spice wimps like me. Overall, thought it was a good meal but wasn't blown away.
