Food is excellent along with the sunshine servers. Always enjoy our breakfast time spent here.. Audrey Prater

Awesome breakfast and brunch spot! Parking was a little difficult if your going early. But their mimosa flight was a great suggestion by the server. Will be going back again! read more

Our favorite breakfast place of all time! Everything is AMAZING, food, service, location!

The food is so tasty! They have a good variety of drinks as well. The service is always pretty decent and quick. It's a great place for a casual breakfast or brunch. It stays very busy though! read more

DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO DAIRY. I ordered a BLT with an egg. Which was advertised dairy free but could not deliver no dairy in a BLT. Did not receive a refund and all they told me was they put no dairy in it, the same time my throat was closing. Beware of people with allergies. read more

I really wanted to try this place because of the good reviews. The restaurant was fairly busy on a Saturday morning but it was easy to get a table, I love the wait-list option. Our server was very nice. However, we were disappointed with the food. We got the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and a breakfast burrito, both were bland, without much flavor. The blueberry granola pancakes were light and fluffy but was lacking in blueberry flavor, also the butter was salty and made the pancake salty. Not sure why they can't add some flavor to the food. Our server also did not let us know there was an upcharge for the chicken sausage. Overall a disappointment. We'll go back to our usual breakfast joints. read more

I always love a good breakfast place. Good strong coffee is always a plus too. They make their chicken fried steak from scratch and it's really good. This time I got the Country Benedict and my date got the Banana pecan caramel pancakes. Both were above average. It's not a big place, so there could be a wait on the weekends, but it's worth it! read more

Food was delicious, very yummy. We all cleared our plates. There was a fairly long wait which is totally fine and expected. But service wasn't great. The hostess wasn't nice and had an attitude with my sister. Not sure if we just came on a bad day. Felt like we got weird/dirty looks because we were a 6 person party at noon. Overall this place is very cute, loved the food and drinks. Will be back!! read more

Aesthetically the place is very cozy. The service was fantastic. Started off with a white chocolate iced latte (can't start the day without coffee!) it was good but standard for a coffee drink. I ordered the strawberry Nutella waffles. They were VERY generous with the Nutella, it was pretty delicious. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros. Unfortunately his meal wasn't as good, it was pretty boring and bland. Salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce could only help so much. Everything was pretty expensive as well. We may return in the future but I think there are some better breakfast places out there. But if you're looking for a cute kind of upscale breakfast/lunch spot, this is the perfect place! read more

My dad and I came here after golfing one day. It's a cute little mom and pop shop that is conveniently located by my house. Thank goodness because everything was amazing!! To start, we came 15 minutes before closing and they sat us and no one seemed annoyed. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive and did not rush us. They have a small bar a lot of tables and seating. I had a cup of coffee and the mimosa flight. It came with 4 mimosas and you got to choose from like 15 different flavors. All of them were good except the pineapple strawberry. I had blueberry, dragon fruit and another I can't remember. Also had a pretty presentation!! For breakfast I had the biscuits and gravy. They didn't give you a huge biscuit, which I like. I feel like some places give too much. The gravy was delicious, one of the best I've had up north. It came with two eggs that I got over medium (a little too wet) and bacon. The bacon was perfect. My dad had an omelet and ate the whole thing. Loved this place and will definitely be back!! read more

Best brunch place ever!! Always amazing every time I eat here! Great variety of mimosas.

Do yourself a favor - if you are reading this review, just add yourself to the Yelp waitlist. Then, come back and read the rest. You WILL want to eat here. The place is super busy and rightfully so because it is smashingly good!!! The chef herself brought out our dishes and when I asked a question about the sauce she was quick to provide me the answer on the ingredients. You must try the lemon ricotta pancakes and the cinnamon apple waffle. Another plus about this place is the diversity and friendliness of the staff. read more

Met a couple gals from work here. I was able to put us on the Yelp waitlist which was nice as it was almost an hour wait. The spot is easy to find and it's BUSY! There is parking in front and I noticed some driving around for a spot to open. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating with misters. It was nice out so we opted to sit on the patio. Service was quick and friendly even with how busy it was. I ordered the Breakfast Bowl which was a delicious Greek yogurt topped with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, their homemade granola and honey. It was super refreshing and light. It was perfect. Their house made granola was crunchy and had great flavor. I could eat it by the handful if I had the option lol. My friends really enjoyed the biscuit and gravy and also the classic Benedict. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing the family. They have a great menu with plenty of other options I'm looking to try! read more

LOVE this place! Came here multiple times. Ate inside and outside. The outside patio area is dog friendly. They are also kid friendly as well. My personal favorite here is the chicken and waffles. So crispy and fresh! According to my boyfriend his steak tasted kind of old because he wanted it more on the rare side but they cooked it more then he would have liked. He still ate it anyway. Waiters are always friendly here and provide great service. I check in on Yelp all the time whenever I'm going to come here because I know it can get busy. read more

Yes! I definitely recommend this spot for brunch. You can check in thru Yelp so you don't have to wait outside the whole time. This is great especially when it starts to hit 100+ degrees outside. Started with the Sunrise Special Bloody Mary. It was on point!! One of THE BEST I have had, 5 stars. Food. Delicious! I had the Florentine Benedict. Oh yum!! We had a party of 14 and I have to admit the food came out fairly quickly considering. Service. I have to say this was by far the reason I would recommend this spot to someone. Dana R was our server and she was by far one of the. War servers I have ever had. I go out to eat often so that says alot. She was attentive, friendly, extremely patient, accommodating and super polite. Even more so, she really seems to care if we were really "ok". She was awesome and really did make our experience there great. read more

On the hottest day of the year, we ambled over to Sunshine breakfast bar on a weekday morning. Luckily, it wasn't that busy, so we got a seat on the patio with misters set on high. The food was amazing - rich, creamy lemon ricotta pancakes, deep satisfying biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon, a breakfast parfait, and even a chipotle mac & cheese from the lunch menu. Every last crumb found its way into our bellies and we left ready for a nap! The staff were very friendly and accommodating too. If you're in Phoenix and looking for a fantastic breakfast, definitely try Sunshine Breakfast Bar - you won't be disappointed! read more

Food is amazing. Service is great. Best breakfast in the area. The wait might be more than 10 min but it's well worth it.

Very popular place, but I was fortunate to be seated immediately on a Thursday morning around 10:40. I asked if their chicken fried steak (CFS) was scratch made. They said it was so that's what I ordered; over easy eggs, sourdough toast 'heavily buttered', and a plain Bloody Mary. The CFS was just okay. Very thin to include the breading. I prefer it to be like fried chicken with a krispy well seasoned breading fried to a golden perfection. This was far from that. Gravy was fine. Together they needed salt, pepper, and hot sauce to give it flavor. The potatoes were cold, only grilled on one side. Texture was chewy where grill toasted on the one side and mushy for all the uncooked potatoes. They too needed salt and pepper to give them any flavor. Although I asked for the bread to be generously buttered, it wasn't. Just a light amount about the size of a quarter in the middle with the other 90% being dry bread. The eggs were cooked as requested and the Bloody Mary was fine. My waitress took my check and cash while I was still seated. Overall, not a good effort on their part. Their other offerings might be better. I just saw their Business Manager's response of 'if you got a bad meal, it's your fault for not telling us.' I will not be returning. read more

The service and food was great. Despite looking busy, we were seated quickly. The hostesses were friendly and our waiter was efficient. The croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious--the shaved ham was so, so good. And the potatoes on the side were great, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back. My only tiny complaint if I had one, is rather than a plain vodka soda, I'd probably get a specialty cocktail. The vodka soda was ok, but mediocre compared to most other places read more

Delicious!!! Saw a friend comment on Facebook she went and liked the mimosas, so I saved the name to go one day. Came for brunch on a Sunday. Joined the waitlist through Yelp and a table was ready about a minute after we arrived. Service was great, I believe Michelle was our waitress and she was very nice. Ordered the mimosa flight- prickly pear and orange juice. Delicious!! We both ended up getting the almond croissant French toast. Wow soooooooo good! Comes with 2 toasts, I wish it was 3 or 4 lol. Also has the options to add eggs or meat. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back and try the lemon ricotta pancakes!!! read more

Great Sunday morning breakfast and i like being able to do remote setting up my place in line so I have a shorter wait when I get there.

New to the neighborhood and this will definitely be one of our go to places for breakfast/lunch. It's a very popular spot for sure. In spite of it looking full & so busy (i'ts small, so a bit loud when full), they were able to seat us & the food came out within a reasonable time. Everything was perfect & we will definitely be back to try everything else on their menu. read more
