I read some of the reviews below and was shocked to see people didn't love this sandwich as much as I did. Sausage in the teeth? Too greasy? Too much cream cheese? Crazy talk! Found this food truck on my way to work and the menu looked really good. I ended up ordering the Sausage Patti Smith sandwich (cute name helped a bit). While prices seemed a little high for what I was getting, especially considering a competitor for breakfast sandwiches is about two blocks away and a few bucks cheaper, portions seemed relatively fair for what you pay. Food was prepared relatively quickly, but packaged in a way that absolutely will not keep grease off your hands. By the time I made it into Denny Park, my left hand was coated in grease. Trying to eat this sandwich at work? I almost completely filled the trough of my plate with more grease. I actually began to wonder just how much more this sandwich was holding onto. In addition, and it's a minor quib (but one I think is fair to share since this is a breakfast truck), so much of this sausage patty is now stuck in my teeth. If you're going to be heading straight to a presentation, you're going to want to pass. And I'm going to pass on this in the future. I am a HUGE fan of breakfast. That being said, I have had every sandwich on this truck! Hands down, the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had (and i've eaten a lot of breakfast). No brick and mortar or any other breakfast sandwich can compare! Not only that, but their hash browns are so good they have got to be from another world! Basic hash brown, seasoned with their own harissa recipe. Each sandwich is named after badass women in history and the truck is owned by two bad ass women as well. They'll customize any sandwich, cook your egg anyway you want it AND will sub eggs for kale if you're not a fan of eggs (even though it's their entire business model). I haven't even mentioned the SIDES yet! They've got some amazing donut holes they make when you order it, (so you're getting them fresh), orange juice, coffee, cold brew, parfait and above all, HASHBROWNS). To be fair, the food is fantastic, but it's now been three times where we have ordered online and the wait has been over an hour. Today we ordered at 9:44 am from less than a block away and they gave us a 3 hour wait time, with no clear availability to cancel our order, when we drove to the truck to just cancel our order, they were telling people in line they had to wait 30 minutes. I was told that we didn't get the right order spot so therefore it would take 3 hours to make our food and in all honesty were incredibly rude when we wanted to cancel our order. I don't normally review any place on Yelp, but I have worked In food service for years, you don't accept an order for two egg sandwiches that will take 3 hours and then be rude when a customer drives up and waits in line just to cancel your order. read more

Perfect meeting place with family who aren't in the same COVID bubble. Great selection for a weekend breakfast. We met up together at the Ridgecrest stop. I'm drooling just thinking about how to explain how delicious these sandwiches are!! I got the smoked salmon sandwich. First off, the rolls they use are DELICIOUS and the perfect softness. The dill cream cheese & pickled onions all paired so perfectly with the smoked salmon. My husband got the ham and added avocado. His sandwich was piled high with ham and yummy goodness. As soon as I found out this place existed I knew my husband and I had to try it. I would say we are breakfast sandwich connoisseurs and this place did not disappoint. The names of the sandwiches are almost as great as the sandwiches themselves! My husband got the Ruth bacon Ginsburg which was amazing and I had a special which had prosciutto, arugula, goat cheese and peach chutney. Sunny Up made an appearance at our apartment building this week, and my wife and I are BIG breakfast sandwich fans! Or really any brunch-y type food, and man have we missed going out! We decided to give them a try, and support this cute little local buisness and we were NOT disappointed. I got the Sausage Patti Smith sandwich, which was SO GOOD! Spicy sausage patty and mama lils peppers, provolone cheese, caramelized onions yum! My wife got the Ruth Bacon Ginsburg, and it was STACKED with bacon, which was an amazing surprise because usually we find people are pretty stingy when it comes to meat. Hers also had tomato jam and white cheddar and a thyme aioli. It was equally as delish! The donut holes were phenomenal. The harissa hashbrown was great! The orange juice was fresh.
