I was able to get it out however we needed a new key and also it had to be programmed VW Jetta We called in, set up a time, someone drove out and met us there. ( can't remember his name, young blonde guy, really friendly and super helpful) 10 minutes later he had a new key for us and even fixed her old broken one. I'll update if the situation improves but so far, 3 stars is being nice. The guy that answered barely spoke English, kept "correcting" the street names I gave him (he was totally wrong and I spent most of the call repeating the same three phrases.) He was unfamiliar with the area (not what you want when locked out of your car in a strange part of town and you specifically called a local because they are local and I'm not.) On top of all that, he was also a mumbled that let the last part of his word/sentences trail off. In the end I called another locksmith because I couldn't figure out if I even had someone coming to help, the call was that confusing. The locksmith showed as promised and was super nice/personable and quick. Good dude, makes me feel guilty for the three stars but their phone people need to move to match. I would contact the tech directly if I could. I don't think I'll use Sundial again until they fix the call center. read more

I got locked out of my house this morning on my way to a client site. I googled locksmith and Sundial was the first one to come up. They got here in 30 minutes as promised and were able to unlock two doors (security and front) in about 5 minutes maybe 10 minutes tops. It didn't require any special tools. Actually, they sprayed a foam in the lock, and used a small tool, and both doors were opened. They charged me $329. It was $50 for the service call and $279 was the unlock fee. Customarily, I would have called around but time was critical. At 66, still living and learning. read more

We contacted Sundial Locksmith because my son locked his keys in his car. They said a locksmith would be out in 45 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later they called to say the were there. The were not because they had gone to the wrong zip code. (We gave them the correct zip code) When the locksmith showed up they were able to pop the trunk open within a matter of 10 minutes. This set off the car alarm. I was then told by the locksmith that they were done. I asked, are you going to unlock the car and he said no you have to climb through the trunk. Thankfully I have a skinny 13 year old who can climb through. When I called the company to complain they were told that they could do nothing and that they would give me a discount if I wanted a key fab made. Finally after 3 phone calls the owner called. He said we already told you we won't do anything. I said then I will be writing you a poor review and he told me I can shove my review up my ass. Then he called back and asked what I wanted and I said well I was going to ask for half back but after that comment I want a refund. He then used the f word at me. read more

I purchased two fobs from Amazon and needed both to be cut and programmed. I contacted several locksmiths and narrowed it down to Sundial Locksmith. I'm glad I did because although their shop is 35 miles from my home, the price quoted ($119 to cut/program both fobs for my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan) was reasonable and their customer service was excellent. Within 15 minutes or so of entering their shop my fobs were cut/programmed and my wife and I were on our way. The next time we need fobs cut/programmed we'll definitely go to Sundial! read more

I have come here a couple of times now for replacement car keys and highly recommend doing business with them. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places and they are quick and easy to deal with. I also brought in my smart door lock from my house because it was sold to us with no key for the deadbolt. They were able to match it to the key that works for the regular door handle so now if the battery dies in the smart lock I'm still able to get in my house. I called to see how much a spare would be for my vehicle. I was surprised at how reasonable the service and key itself were priced at. When I called to inquire and give the specs of my vehicle I spoke to a nice woman who instructed me on the different options and said the owner would call me back for further details and within 5 minutes the owner calls me back (I love the pace so far for this task I've been putting off forever, as the dealerships take forever with anything - it gets better though). The owner asks if I can come in that day (I am beyond delighted because I thought I was going to make an appointment and allocate time I don't have). I get there- it takes this man 10 minutes to make my key. He's pleasant, his store is really comfortable to wait in, as they have hand sanitizer everywhere (and candy too!) and very comfortable chairs. The owner is personable, very kind, and the whole experience was something I enjoyed which is rare for errands like this. All in all- 100/10 will go there for all my key related needs. I had a second 2017 range rover sport key made today. It took all of 30 minutes to get a new key programmed to the car. Total cost was approximately $250 less then from the dealership. The programming at the dealership was going to charge me $190 for took them about five minutes once He got going. They basically charged me the same for key + programming + cutting the emergency key as the stealership was going to charge for just the key. On top of that they had keys available when the dealership said Land Rover would take 2-4 weeks to ship another one! I highly recommend them. read more

GREAT, PROMPT service! I lost my key to my 2016 Ford Fusion SE and never got provided my door code for keyless entry. Not only did they charge me HALF the price that ford quoted me but also offered to match a different locksmith that had an even lower quote when I called to cancel my appointment.
