This is the only locksmith I go to. I live a mile and a half from their shop. But I have literally drove from 83rd ave and Camelback to get keys made for a friend who had just bought a house. They are fast at rekeying. My friend asked me why so far away; I said they are the very best and very reasonably priced. She was happy with the results. They even make house calls. The only place my son and I will ever go. Super friendly, and cool people there. read more

Best lock shop! I had a great experience here once and no surprise yet again. When my door lock wasn't working I knew who to call. Taylor is truly amazing and goes above and beyond everytime. And a very special thank you to Steve as well. They make you feel like family and truly take care of you, can't recommend them enough! read more

Why would you go anywhere else is what I was thinking after visiting their location. They know LOCKS and KEYFOBS for cars also. Purchased new key fobs for our car and had a patio slider lock re-keyed also. Woman owned and operated... I was so pleased with their service. Highly recommend... Thankyou read more

Highly recommend!! My gun safe was jammed and Jeff came by and had it like new in under 30 min. Very knowledgeable and extremely polite and professional. I plan to have them replace some door locks with digital in the next few weeks. read more

Outstanding experience dealing with an HVAC vendor that locked my tenant out of their apartment. Taylor in the office took my call and advised she would communicate back eta of tech availability to assist in the area. I received prompt text alerts to the ETA. Tech arrived onsite and performed the needed access with ease. Rates are reasonable and service is very prompt and professional. They do residential and commercial work. And they do 24/7 work from a dispatched service. Highly recommend this family owned business in the Mesa, AZ area! read more

Great business to do business with. As honest as the day is long. Would gladly do business with them again.

Buyer beware. The initial site visit "Service Fee" was not honestly disclosed in advance. This company charges to estimate the job, prepare a quote and will NOT refund the fee should you choose to have them do the work. Salesman was unprofessional, dismissive of the needs of the project and negatively profiled the customer. The needs of the customer were not even considered. They are deceptive, dishonest and unprofessional. It's suspicious that they are so highly rated on Yelp. read more

If you live in the area, don't mess around, go with this company! I work in cybersecurity and they get PHYSICAL security. I had another company rekey my new house at the time of move-in and though that technician was great, they messed up on my front deadbolt, so my key would fit-in fine, but wasn't properly unlocking since move-in. The other tech was blaming it on my hardware, but this company came and saved my on a Friday night when this key suddenly would unlock my security door. The tech was able to unlock the door and "reseat" the inside of the lock column in minutes and even charged a bit less than their dispatch quoted me (I may have some terminology wrong, but trust me, he definitely could have gone a different direction here and made me rekey all locks and get new keys instead). Their Dispatch rep was also phenomenal to work with too. They were even APOLOGETIC to me about their ETA time because of other work that this rep was on. I'm just grateful that my Copilot AI agent found this place over the Google Search that got me to the first place. Great company! read more

Professional, kind and thorough! I checked other locksmith's before choosing "The LOCK Shop". I went with The LOCK Shop based on reviews I read and the professional informative interactions I had with Taylor on my initial "information gathering" call. Taylor was very kind, thorough and professional discussing pricing up front which turned out to be accurate. I called back to schedule an appointment, this time I spoke with Kathy over the phone and she was also professional, knowledgeable and kind. My appointment was set to the next day. The technician Steve arrived on time. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. Their pricing is fair and everyone I dealt with were the kind of people I would happily suggest to anyone in need of locksmith services. I will reach out to The LOCK Shop again should I need these types of services in the future. read more

I locked my keys in my car and immediately felt less stressed when I walking into The Lock Shop. They were honest and very quick! Super thankful for these guys. I will be returning. Highly recommend! read more

We just moved from California and we didn't feel safe with the current locks in our rental home. Because of the great reviews from Yelp I decided to give them a call. After putting a quote request online late in the evening, I received a response first thing in the morning. I was able to schedule a date and time for them to come in. I appreciate they are family owned because they definitely make you feel like a part of their family with great customer service and sincere care. They are very knowledgable and I am grateful to Kathy for saving us from having to spend extra $$'s to change all of our locks when it wasn't even necessary. Jeff came out to fix our current locks and install a night lock. I explained my concerns and he right away was able to examine and fix the problem. Also I recently had a Hello Kitty key copied at Loews and he was generous to rekey it to match our locks without me asking. He did an amazing job in fixing our locks and adjusting our door so that the locks would latch on securely. I feel so much better now and I can sleep better knowing our doors are secured. Thank you so much The LOCK Shop for your great customer service and your sincere care for your customers safety. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends and will call you again if needed. You guys are awesome!!! read more

I needed a second key programmed for a used car I just bought. I was headed to the dealership until my mechanic recommended The Lock Shop. Saved a lot of money (they charge far less than the dealership)! They have a huge selection of keys but didn't have the right one for my car. But it's okay because they got it ordered in one day. Talked to two different people on the two different days I was there and both were super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly which are things that always make me want to come back and also to share my experience with others! Little side note: for a few extra dollars, ask them to make a metal key for your car. It won't have a computer chip in it so it won't start your ignition, but it will unlock the door and if you ever need another key programmed, it'll save you money because it can be used to make one of those programmed keys. Seems like a good idea to have that on hand! read more

Great place! I went to Home Depot and Lowe's, which did not have the small golf cart key that I needed. They had the correct key. While I was there I decided on getting a spare key for my 2021 Jeep Compass. They had to order the key. I returned and had another duplicate Jeep key made, which was identical to the original and at a significant discount compared to a Jeep dealer. Taylor and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. read more

The lock mechanism on one of our French Doors broke and, without The Lock Shop's involvement, we would have ended up having to replace the entire door set. Window Mart (who manufactured the doors) was being problematic in honoring their lifetime warranty because the hardware had been discontinued (but was still available aftermarket). Kathy at The Lock Shop worked with Window Mart to settle our warranty claim and order the parts. Stephen came out several times and had to do some modification to get the parts to fit, but he kept at it and now our doors are as good as new! He was polite and professional and a pleasure to have in our home. We are very grateful for everything The Lock Shop did to help us get this resolved without having to replace what were otherwise perfectly good doors. Two thumbs up! read more

The Lock Shop has been excellent to work with! They have assisted with rekeying my parents home and ours. Jeff was very professional and completed everything very quickly. $15,- for cutting a blank key which I had purchased online- total rip-off. And to make it sound cheap, the lady at the store mentioned that normally they would charge $20,- Walmart charges $2,- and that includes the blank. read more

The Lock Shop is absolutely amazing! Jeff came out to my business to install some new commercial door handles. These needed to be keyed to a 2 key system. He interpreted what my needs would be and tackled the job. He knocked it out of the park! It was done in a very timely manner and he was very professional in every way. Normally, locksmiths cost an arm and a leg and just do an OK job. Not here! The cost was below what you would find at other places but WITH outstanding work. This place deserves your business! Don't miss out and go to the other guy. They offer so many services and really put the customer first. The Lock Shop is the only locksmith around as far as I am concerned. read more

Do not go to your dealership to purchase a spare key for your vehicle. The dealership MIGHT charge you twice as much as these folks. The dealership MIGHT not even have the key in stock. The dealership MIGHT not tell you they will have to order the key while setting up your appointment even though they already have all your vehicle information on file. Lastly, don't even bother with another locksmith if you are expecting fast, easy and friendly service. Other locksmiths MIGHT give you attitude and make you wait before realizing they cannot help you either. read more

The doorknob on the side garage door turned, but the internal mechanism would not retract the latch. So, for the next two weeks, I began a journey of sweat, toil, and anger. I searched the Internet and YouTube for answers and tried several hopeful remedies. Removing the door hinges was first, but after viewing their configuration, it was not possible. I won't go into everything. I tried hoping tomorrow I would win. On my last day trying, the thought of destroying the door came to mind but faded after some rest. I searched the Internet and saw a conversation post about others with the same problem at their wit's end. A person replied with a simple solution, "You may have to call a locksmith." A month prior, a family member had all their locks rekeyed. They gave me the name of this company, and I called the next day within minutes of them opening. They scheduled me the same day and within a few hours of our availability. The technician immediately retracted the latch and opened the door. I felt dumb, although I was told there was nothing I could have done since these situations occur. Instead, a new internal mechanism was installed with the same knob. Expect a service fee and other related costs. In this case, I should have called earlier. It was worth it. During the last 3-years, I have had many contractors of many specialties at my house for big projects. But unfortunately, their excuses, shoddy work, and laziness have jaded me where I dread calling anyone to provide service. The BIG deal of our interaction with the Lock Shop was the promptness, friendliness, and straight-to-the-point service, with no upselling. Lock Shop, you have broken the mold and restored my faith that awesome folks are still in business to provide quality service. read more

The LOCK Shop folks are great. They worked on two projects for me in one week and were extremely efficient.

Great customer service. Easy to schedule. Expert showed up, and not only re-keyed 7 doors, but labor effort also included installing two (2) door knobs. In addition, he (Steve) adjusted two (2) of the doors to lock more effectively and open/close smoothly. Definitely would use the Lock Shop again. read more

Customer service is an absolute lost art these days. That said, the family at The Lock Shop definitely have a passion for perfecting that art and providing that to their customers. To preface this review, I had been having car starting issues. I had a very old and janky remote/ chip key and the car would intermittently start. I placed two calls into AAA the first of which sold me on a new battery. The second call when I continued to have issues assured me it wasn't my battery but was my key. So when I finally placed a call into "the LOCK shop" I was clearly a bit exhausted with all the running around. The LOCK Shop eased my frustrations from the very beginning of my experience. The representative on the phone was very knowledgeable, asked all sorts of questions and actually listened. Within 30 minutes I had a technician, Jeff, I think his name was, out to my house to swoop up the key and cut it at the shop. He was back to my house within 30 minutes and programming my key. Jeff was able to diagnose the starting issues I was having to be an overlooked joint on my battery that was loose that he ended up tightening down for me which resulted in my car starting every time. So, while I didn't necessarily NEED a new key right away, I got one as a result of AAA telling me it was my key and I was GLAD about it even though It was their overlooking the problem that caused me to spend an unexpected chunk of money on a new key. Thanks to Jeff and the rest of The Lock Shop, I now have a brand new key which works amazing, my car starts every time, and I can rest assured knowing they gave me the best deal and the absolute best customer service. Would most definitely recommend to anyone with lock or key issues. Thank you guys! read more

Great service by Jeff and reasonable price. I highly recommend The Lock Shop and I will absolutely use them again!

We locked out keys in the car and had to go and search for a locksmith and found the lock shop on Yelp. They were quick and good priced. This was our only key to our car and we realized they can make keys with the chip in it for a really good cost and were able to fix a door we were having issues with. Great company and great service. Definitely using more! read more

Lost the key to my Jeep and replacements were back-ordered at my dealer. Found an OEM replacement on-line and brought it here to be programmed. These guys rock... I had a lock that was broken. The service that they offer is exactly what you would expect from a reputable business. They are not the cheapest, but I appreciate that as I want them to be around the next time that I need a lock repair. The lock that I had was in a security door, so it was generic. They had to figure out what would work. They ordered installed the lock, and now it works perfectly. I will definitely use them for any locksmith needs in the future. read more

I've stopped in here probably 4 or 5 times now for various keys (I am a property manager). The best part for sure is that everyone is so friendly, and they have adorable keys. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get key copies as well as any re-keying you might need. Do be aware though that you need to purchase at least $10 worth of stuff to be able to use your card I always forget and end up with an extra key being made. . P.S. If you are getting a house key I really recommend going with a large base for the key, I got the largest one they had and now opening the house is a breeze while carrying everything from the car. read more

Buyer BEWARE! Their ads are a lot of story-telling. Check the price of the service BEFORE you commit. They change prices based on what they think thy will charge. Nothing has prices on their website OR in the store. I got charged three different prices for a simple key-cut: for $4 to $25. They are a pure money making focused business selling a "family-owned" hype. Again: ASK for a price BEFORE you go forward. Better off, go to Ace Hardware or Home Depot for the common key stuff.
