My problem was a sticky or stuck door lock. Dual deadbolt patio door. If you jiggled the key it eventually turned. Locks are likely circa 1980's as that is when the house was built. Called for service and I was surprised they could come same day. They removed the lock replaced the pins put it all back together again. Got me back to working. My only regret was not calling sooner. I can't comment on the work since the gentleman I spoke with told me he thought it was a quick fix and didn't want me to have to pay for an $85 service call if not necessary. He also told me if it did not work, I would need to contact a commercial door company rather than a locksmith. A few squirts of WD-40 fixed the problem. Well all I can say is I'll be damned !! I've never ever used that expression before !!! Our main door to go out in back yard to let dog out & where our pool is would not open. Of course this happened on Christmas!! Hubbie can save lives but cannot even screw in a bolt ( diff types of brain ... don't ask ). Changed 3 locks one key, repaired 3 locks..one upside down. Presented me with a lock out card number sequence and has an anvil stamped on the key to differentiate similar looking ones. Called Adams Locksmith today for 4 door locks that never worked right. Tom came over within a hour and could not be more professional. Both front door locks i wanted re-keyed because we bought our home a year ago and didn't know who had keys. Our side gate deadbolt lock was very rusted and couldn't get key out and more of problem than anticipated . The garage door lock never did work right, but it dose now, thanks to Tom. Found the absolute best locksmith last night when I was locked out of my home. Tom gave great customer service! He arrived when he said he would, and could not have been nicer or more professional. The job turned out to be more complex than initially anticipated, but he persevered and got me into my home. He took time to help explain to me what had happened, and told me exactly what I needed to do next to replace my broken lock. I was quoted a price up front, but because it was a more complicated job than initially thought, it was a bit more expensive, but I had expected that; and the increase was very minor. The deadbolt on my outside shed stopped working. I was unable unable to unlock it. I called Adams Locksmith on a hot Saturday around 3PM and within 25 minutes Tom arrived.
