Food is very good. We ordered for delivery late today. It was delicious more that I expected. However, unfortunately in uber app it was mentioned that when you get one, another second one was free. And we did three items to receive 6 at the end. We received only two. Hope they can take care of it. I would be happy if they send me the food again. read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. i'm starving so i order food online for pick and i drive fifteen minutes there only for this lady to tell me the website doesn't work and she has to make my order right then and there and it's another FIFTEEN MINUTE WAIT. you couldn't shut down the online ordering service? what the heck. i am so hungry. also to make things worse, they literally forget my utensils. no chopsticks no forks no spoons no napkins. the food is actually okay but not good enough to make up for the terrible service. the sushi was rolled kind of of loosely. so now i can't even eat my mediocre food bc i have no utensils to eat it with. i'm never coming here again and you should not come either. geez. i'm hungry. read more

I went there expecting teriyaki. Instead I paid $40 dollars for 2bowls of rice and onions. My girlfriend and I couldn't even eat it. That's how horrible it was, to top it off when I voiced my complaint and asked for some sort of refund I was told they couldn't do anything for me. Staff aren't the friendliest of people. Food is lackluster for the prices you're paying. Spring rolls are never crunchy and the teriyaki sauce is virtually tasteless. If you're craving Asian food just go to Jai Thai instead. read more

Great quick and tasty Japanese spot! Ordered a roll and chicken karaage. Both on point the chicken was phenomenal. Chicken comes out piping hot and very tender. On top of the great food the service was excellent. The workers are friendly and helpful. They have indoor seating which was a nice bonus. The owner, Jackie, checked on me halfway through my meal to see if everything was ok. He said it is thanks to his staff which I really liked. Best no frills Japanese spot in the city hands down. We also tried one of their rolls.... I had one bite and had to throw it away. The absolute perfect Japanese food for to go orders, and they have great meals. I had the Japanese chicken yakisoba, which came with a Dr Pepper and a side of gyoza for about $23. The chicken was delicious and the gyoza were perfectly crisp. The yakisoba is a large portion and also reheats great the next day. I also got for $21 the Rocky roll, a miso soup, and side of spring rolls. The Rocky roll is a MUST, and the spring rolls were also cooked to perfection. The miso soup could have used more flavoring and tofu. All of it was just exactly what I needed. I got it within 45 minutes from DoorDash. read more

My girlfriend and I used to order from here like every couple weeks or so. We never had a problem until one night our food made us sick. My girlfriend was so ill she spent most of the night in the bathroom. I went to the restaurant a few days later to inform them of our experience and ask for a refund of our meal. I was met by a lady who said she was the general manager and she had zero empathy, showed no concern and stated that unless we had hospital paperwork proving we got sick then she wouldn't refund the meal. I tried reasoning with her and asked if she owned the restaurant and she said she didn't. I asked to speak to the owners and she said that was not possible. We argued about that for a bit til she said she'd relay my contact information and inform them of our experience. I was told someone would be in contact within a couple days and I never heard back. I just don't understand how a restaurant could have such a ridiculous policy regarding reports of food poisoning and judging by their lack of response they clearly have no intention of changing that. We unfortunately will never order from them again and I highly recommend steering clear of this restaurant as their customer service is laughable. read more

When it opened I was admittedly bitter and hesitant to try it because I loved HaNa which was originally in that space, but I'm really glad I gave it a chance. The ingredients are all really good quality, including the salmon, they have some unique, tasty rolls, and it's all prepared fast and at a really reasonable price for this area. I'm giving a two because not many utensils where left in the bag for us, even though we all showed up to the restaurant in person, and the women assessed our party amount. The utensils that were given were only chopsticks as well, so for those of us that didn't know how to use them we were forced to try. Meh. The taste was fine. Nothing out of this world. 3 stars for taste I guess, if that. I do take a star away because of the portions. The cheaper spicy tuna rolls are small everywhere. And those were fine like in many places. But when you pay almost $15 for a premium roll, you don't expect it to be the size of a small roll. I was in awe. I had never seen a signature roll so small. I would have been ok with it if the fish quality was superb. But the cuts on top were so small you could have gotten them from scraps at the end of cutting the fish. read more
