Espresso martini

Honestly this place isnt it for dinner. You can get cheaper better steak elsewhere. No reason for this place to be $100 per person. Again, we had the Costco gift cards. This time we came on a mo day for a date night on a whim. We sat at a booth right next to the kitchen. I got the lobster bisque. It was not as rich and creamy as some local places. My passionfruit martini was not full to the brim when served. I had to send my steak back. I ordered it medium. It was charred on the outside and raw in the middle. Like it was still red and marbled. A different waitress walked by and looked confused asking if that was how I wanted it cooked? I said no. It came back better inside and more black on the outside. The lobster mashed potatoes also had shell bits in it. The baked potato was huge and good. Needed more toppings.

Philly Cheesesteak, one of the signature sandwiches today

We went for a company/employee going away party with 10 people. 4 from our party ordered the Philly Cheesesteak & all 4 agreed it was really bad, especially for $22! It didn't come with peppers or mishad no flavor & was small. One person's order didn't get served until almost time to go. We were the only ones there at 11:00 am. I brought home the other 1/2 of the sandwich & no one else in my family even wanted it! I have zero plans to go back!

We came here during our trip to Alaska, happy to check out a place that was just a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Plus, we had a gift card, so double win. Service was sorely lacking, and staff weren't all that friendly at all. I don't require red carpet service, but the vibe was definitely more along the lines of "what do you want, order and leave us alone." Yikes. To keep things on the less expensive side, we mainly ordered from the happy hour menu, and thought we'd go tapas style, order a few things to share. Food was ok, but some of the flavors were a bit off, so a couple of items were sent back and we ordered something else instead. The crab fried rice was pretty tasty, I do recommend that. Even when we needed something (utensils or sauces), it took ages to get it--and this was often after the servers had failed to bring it with our food. This was just not a good visit overall. We opted to sit in the bar area hoping it would lead to decent service (that's usually our experience when sitting in the bar area), but NOPE. We used to have a Sullivan's in my city, and I was bummed when it closed; this location just made me sad. I don't know if the lackadaisical attitude is because they don't care about visitors they don't expect to see again or what, but a little friendliness goes a long way. I can deal with lackluster food or subpar service, but it's really hard to get both and leave feeling satisfied. $50 gift card wasted, but lesson learned. Next time we go to Alaska, we definitely won't eat here.

Keegan was very helpful. He was kind and courteous. It was our 21st wedding anniversary and he helped make it special. Also, nice touch offering the free dessert.

Came in at 12:38pm for lunch. It's 1:24 PM and still waiting for my food... Don't come here on a "lunch break".

Great food and attentive service. Unique great tasting cocktails are served. Nice atmosphere for a "chain" restaurant.

I was greeted by a very sweet hostess and decided to sit at the bar after browsing the menu. The ambiance was welcoming, and I was assisted right away. Noah and the staff were incredibly helpful and patient, especially since it was my first time dining here. Noah took the time to explain the cooking preferences for the ribeye, which made it much easier for me to finalize my choice. I started with a salad, which was decent, though the croutons were a little stale. For my main, I ordered the Cajun ribeye with garlic potatoes and creamed spinach. Everything was flavorful, and the attentive service made the overall experience very enjoyable.

Stuffed shrimp: This was not great.. could've been seared or baked longer. Wish we would've taken the fried rice...

Went to Sullivan's last weekend for some Mommy and Daddy time. We love it there, we usually sit at the bar side because of the Ambiance :). Giving it 4 stars because we thought there would be live music, should've checked ahead of time. And some of the food was ok, not great. Our favorite was the Oyster Rockefeller, Lamb (get 2!) Seared Ahi tuna, and Eggrolls which was complementary. Matt was awesome and gave us such great service. Drinks were STRONG! I am not complaining haha we will definitely go back again. Thanks Sullivan's for always making our time great there :)!

It's Sullivans. They're consistent. Foods good. A very accommodating menu. Lunch at the bar. It's cold and I'm having a cup of soup and a burger watching the city go by, can't complain. The French Onion Soup is good! A little salty. Beef stock base. Not sure if there's a liqueur or wine deglaze but there is a subtle and pleasant flavor I cannot identify. I'd order it again

Brynn K was an outstanding server...friendly and conscientious without being over bearing. The food and cocktails were exceptional as always! Who doesn't love a knock out martini?

had the pleasure of dinning at sullivan's while visiting anchorage and our server Jack was really sweet, he told us all about about the area, the restaurant and the menu. he was really enthusiastic. overall the food was good, but the service was extremely slow and the food was not hot to touch, more like warm/room temp, which kinda takes away from the experience.

My favorite restaurant in Anchorage , by far…read more The layout of the restaurant is street level entrance with downstairs dining. The staff is just over the top amazing. Antonio greeted me at the door and sat me in just a few minutes. I was seated at the bar counter downstairs. A dark intimate hip place. The guys behind the counter were Cory, Kendrick, and another young gentleman I didn't get the name of. They were happy people and it showed. I saw from the yelpers they had Tsukemono (Japanese pickles) and my second favorite Tsukemen (dipping noodles) . I ordered both and was pleasantly surprised to see the pork belly was perfectly roasted, the 6 1/2 min egg was on point, and the noodles and broth were absolutely amazing. I am a Tsukemen fan and this place did it right. I then ordered the matcha pancetta dessert. Whoa! Completely knocked on the floor with the flavors. This is my favorite restaurant having spent two weeks here and finding this one on my last night. Can't wait to come back. Don't hesitate to eat here.

However this was my birthday dinner so I was particularly disappointed. I reserved a table for three in the whisky bar area. We arrived about five minutes early and were told by one of the hostesses that the party at the table just paid and should be leaving soon. About 20 minutes passed before another said the party still had not left even though one of them talked to the server. Eventually I agreed to have us seated in the main dining room. Almost immediately afterward I saw two parties leave the whisky bar so I asked to be moved there, which according to one of the hostesses is where we originally supposed to be. It was over 30 minutes later when we finally got the table I reserved. This left a sour taste in my mouth and I considered leaving at one point, but I was really looking forward to this dinner. For dinner I ordered the Komorebi Old Fashioned and the Dark Horse as I often do, We also shared the whisky pork buns and everything was delicious. Dessert was not as enjoyable. I ordered their espresso martini, the Electric Stolt, which was decent enough. Lacking on the coffee flavor in my opinion. I also ordered the chocolate birthday cake which, aside from the cherries in the cake, tasted like any generic cake you would get from a grocery store. Their other desserts, like the matcha panna cotta and goma silk bar, are much more flavorable. Service overall was fine, but we got the check before my boyfriend could order another drink so we felt somewhat rushed out. Considering this is the only time I've had issues with being seated for reservations, I would go back, but this was my least pleasant dining experience here, unfortunately.

Our table had the following: 6 oysters Rockefeller, 1 fried calamari, a half size blackened halibut Cesar salad, a grilled ribeye steak and an Alaskan halibut fish and chips. Food notes: the oysters were super fresh and delicious, perfectly cooked so that they were only broiled on top and still almost rare below. However the toppings could've been improved with better bacon, and maybe a touch more spinach. Even a small dollop of Béarnaise sauce would've been better than the Parmesan. Nevertheless this was probably my favorite bite of the night. The halibut on the fish & chips was also fresh flaky and really tender. The chips were like thin steak fries that had been battered but were still under seasoned. They weren't great, and no one ate them even our toddler who loves fries. The blackened halibut on the salad was tougher, and dry. There were too many store-bought croutons and the salad dressing was possibly store-bought too and bland for a Cesar. The ribeye was totally sad. It was quite thin and unimpressive especially for the cost. It came with more of those dismal fries and some plain broccolini. Our steak-loving dinner companion only ate about half and didn't care to doggy-bag the rest so it went to waste. Calamari was average, and came with two oily amateur-chef looking sauces, one mayo flavored and one somewhat spicer was basically the same as the first. Our excellent waiter mixed up a cocktail sauce himself that blew the other sauces out of the water. Bravo to him. He was the best while waiting on us also, quick to refill a water or retrieve more drinks from the bar. Good thing the Rockefeller was great, I'd be back for that alone ($6/per oyster) but otherwise I don't think I'd rush back to Fletcher's. Many other eateries in the area that are tastier, with equally difficult parking.
