She then washed dishes for the next 5 minutes....in which time she could have made the drink easily. I Just got up and left, it looked like I wasn't missing much from what I saw. Never been to a bar where they greet you and then won't make you a drink and then proceed to ignore your group. Despite decent reviews I wouldn't waste your time making a trip here but that is up to you.

However the toppings could've been improved with better bacon, and maybe a touch more spinach. Even a small dollop of Béarnaise sauce would've been better than the Parmesan. Nevertheless this was probably my favorite bite of the night. The halibut on the fish & chips was also fresh flaky and really tender. The chips were like thin steak fries that had been battered but were still under seasoned. They weren't great, and no one ate them even our toddler who loves fries. The blackened halibut on the salad was tougher, and dry. There were too many store-bought croutons and the salad dressing was possibly store-bought too and bland for a Cesar. The ribeye was totally sad. It was quite thin and unimpressive especially for the cost. It came with more of those dismal fries and some plain broccolini. Our steak-loving dinner companion only ate about half and didn't care to doggy-bag the rest so it went to waste. Calamari was average, and came with two oily amateur-chef looking sauces, one mayo flavored and one somewhat spicer was basically the same as the first. Our excellent waiter mixed up a cocktail sauce himself that blew the other sauces out of the water. Bravo to him. He was the best while waiting on us also, quick to refill a water or retrieve more drinks from the bar. I've been drooling over Tug Bar's "Overboard Bloodys," since at least 2022…read more Guess who finally made it to Settlers Bay, with the fam in tow, to indulge?! :) I came for the Overboard Bloody ($65) but had to try their buffet breakfast first. It was actually pretty great, for a bar buffet. The sole waitress/bartender was super sweet. She seemed to appreciate that we paid with cash. We're a colored neurodivergent family. We stick out like a sore thumb. I kinda expect to be treated differently, (especially in the sticks) but we weren't, here :) Tug's buffet breakfast was better than any hotel buffet breaky, that's for sure! They had french toast sticks, blueberry pancakes, different protein options, biscuits and gravy etc. No soda on tap, only cans. No strips or chicken nuggets here. I kinda figured and we planned to stop elsewhere for my son's eats (ARFID eater). Apparently, there are people who make reservations JUST for the overboard bloody's, so arriving at 11am (they opened at 10am), still had us a waiting a good 30-40min for ours. It was worth it! Tug Bar changes the toppings each week. This week was insane! Candy + an entire chicken, pork chop, lobster tail, sandwich, pretzel etc. see the photo and vid. I didn't need help drinking it, but of course I had my family help me eat it. We had lots of leftovers to take home. I can't wait to return one day! They have a sweet patio area!
