Cute little cafe but slow service:( I had to wait 30 min for one coffee Plenty seating coffee is outstanding! I got the orange cloud latte
I loved the Bing soo here!!! The tiramisu on top was made with ice cream and tastes so yummy!!! The strawberries were really fresh too and everything was not too sweet! Wanna come back for all the flavors!!!
Street parking only! Sulbing cafe is really spacious inside with plenty of tables, so you might be get lucky with not having to wait :) How it works: order at the kiosk, grab a table, and they'll call your number when your order is ready. Self-serve and self-clean. Drinks: 3.5/5 Blueberry smoothie - Perfectly balanced between sweet and sour. Condensed milk tea - A bit bitter and could have used a bit more condensed milk in it. Mango matcha - Matcha was a bit grainy and the mango puree was a bit too syrupy. Food: 5/5 Mozzarella injeolmi toast - This was soooo good. Soft, sweet, and tasty. Mango sulbing - Generous serving of mangoes! Bits of cheesecake helped even out the sweetness. Honey butter bread - Bread was thick but really fluffy and soft to eat. I personally think the whipped cream on top should be replaced with ice cream.
Another delicious Korean dessert place that has some of the best bingsu in the area, sort of a hidden gem. We ordered on a tablet as soon as we walked in the shop, and the order was ready within 5 minutes. We got mango and it was super fresh, and flavorful. Great portions for 2-4 people to share. Will definitely come back when I'm in Mountain View.
Visited Sulbing in downtown Mountain View after dinner and had a great experience. The ordering process is simple ... you place your order at a kiosk, find your own seat, and then wait for your number to be called. There was plenty of seating available when I visited after 7 PM, and it wasn't too crowded. We ordered the watermelon bingsoo, which came with a can of Milkis. The bingsoo was topped with plenty of fresh watermelon cubes, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and refreshing. It was the perfect dessert for a warm evening and not overly heavy after dinner. The cafe felt clean, organized, and relaxed, and the self-service setup made everything quick and convenient. If you're looking for a refreshing Korean dessert in downtown Mountain View, Sulbing is definitely worth a visit.
It's a tiny shop from the outside, but a massive interior in the inside! You'll order from a tablet, and they'll call your number for you to pick up your order. We came after a meal, and ordered a chocolate monster sulbing and tiramisu sulbing. We thoroughly enjoyed both of them! The shaved ice is creamy, and they're thoughtfully layered so you'll find another tasty layer as you dig down. For example, the chocolate monster one has ice cream nestled away at the bottom, as well as another layer of cocoa powder. We'll definitely be coming back to try other flavors!
Sulbing Cafe is truly a gem for dessert lovers! We ordered their Green Tea Sulbing and their Pistachio Sulbing - they both were truly flavorful, tasty, and authentic! The green tea sulbing had various layers of shaved ice with green tea powder and a light frosting, its topped with delicious green tea ice cream and small pieces of mochi. The pistachio sulbing is nutty, with the right amount of chocolate, and has flakes that adds texture (similar to Dubai chocolate), and its topped with a scoop of ice cream, pistachio cream, and pistachio chunks. Both desserts have layers of flavor and great textures! The space is open, brightly lit, and has a cafe vibe to it - perfect to get some work done or simply hang out. The staff were efficient and kind. You place your order at the front through a kiosk system. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Absolutely will be returning here!
Sulbing in Sulbing Mountain View!!!! finally one closer to me! I've been to the locations in Santa Clara and Cupertino many times, so it's nice not having to drive as far south anymore. I love the setup here. You order at the station when you walk in, and the seating area is right next to it. The space is super clean, spacious, and nicely cooled with strong AC. The injeolmi toast is a must try. If you love mochi, you'll definitely enjoy it. It's a chewy rice cake coated in roasted soybean powder and it's so good. It was also my first time trying matcha at Sulbing. I got the matcha cloudy, and it was perfectly balanced with a sweet foam and rich matcha flavor.
The bingsoo at Sulbing is always good because they use sweet milk ice chips, not water ice! I have to say that I found this location was nicer and less crowded than the Santa Clara location that I usually go to.
pretty sure this is the best sul-bing i ever had in the bay area. I am not a korean shave ice expert, but their signature one is really good. the soy bean powder taste amazing with the fluffy shave ice.
100% self serve and no line on a Sunday afternoon. Fast, clean and delicious. Wish they can have smaller size so we can try more favors.
This place is very interesting. The dessert is meant to be shared as it's huge. We ordered the Tiramisu bowl. It comes with a nice layer of shaved ice, with vanilla flavoring. Cocoa powder. It then came loaded with vanilla ice cream and a large piece of tiramisu. The flavor was not overly sweet and actually pretty tasty. The space itself looks new and spacious.
I don't like it and it deserves 5 stars. I didn't know what bingsu was when I walked in. I didn't ask. I spent 20 minutes discovering layers of epic. I had so much fun with the food I forgot I was on a date with a closed minded bore. The lighting is cool and the music is fun too. I highly recommend trying the place at least once. I think I ate mine wrong and will be googling to try again. Bring the whole crew--the $16 treat is for 6 people.
So happy a Sulbing opened up so close by! Came for some pre dinner dessert and it really hit the spot, but then we were too full for dinner! You get sooooo much! The tiramisu bingsu was delicious and the cheesy toast hit the perfect salty and sweet notes! We also got a cute little new year cookie treat! Love the cute vibes and so happy this opened up in the neighborhood! read more
A must try! We loved Sulbing in Korea and were so happy to find that a Sulbing opened up in Mountain View. It did not disappoint. The shaved ice texture can't be compared to other shaved ice places. The texture is so light and delicate. Many flavors and options to choose from, like fresh fruit and traditional, and coffee/tea is offered as well. The decor is simple but pleasant, and large space will allow for many get togethers with friends. Can't wait to come back! read more

So happy we have a sulbing place downtown! It's so cute and clean inside. Super easy to order through kiosk. Big enough to share - we did the strawberry with red bean and mochi. Matcha lattes also perfect. Highly recommend!! read more

A cloud of frozen bliss! I stumbled upon this spot and was instantly hooked. The shaved ice cream is light, creamy, and melts like snowflakes on your tongue. I tried the strawberry sibling. If you're looking for a refreshing treat that's both indulgent and airy, this is it. read more

The service was quick and the strawberry subbing was so yummy! Definitely need to come back and try more flavors! Perfect for a sunny day read more
New location for this korean dessert cafe! They are usually featured for their bingsoos but they have some great options for drinks and snacks. The cloud lattes are perfect for those who like their coffees sweet (but not too sweet!) and creamy, but the giant cappuccino is great for something a little more simple. The toasts are yummy too with our fave being the interesting mozzarella injeolmi toast with a slight sweet and savory combo. Inside the cafe is a very spacious and cute seating area with a few outlets in some tables. The pick up window will also be inside too. Service is very nice but they are still in the openiing process, so orders may take a few minutes to prepare. If you order to-go, be sure to let the staff know ahead of time otherwise it will automatically be set for in house. They are located near downtown Mountain View but a little off to the side on a less busy street, perfect for your next hang out! read more

I always passed by this place whenever going off Castro while it was under construction and had been super excited to go. Today coming in the vibes were amazing. The workers welcomed us in when we came in and the interior was beautiful. The lighting was incredible and the seating was comfy. The order system is by kiosk and was organized well. After ordering, the drink and bingsu took about 10 minutes to come out. Cloud latte: The latte was very enjoyable and the coffee was smooth. The cream to coffee ratio was perfect and wasn't too sweet. Matcha Bingsu: The bingsu consisted of the bingsu base, matcha powder, 2 scoops of matcha ice cream, cut mochi with redbean, matcha sauce, and a cream inside. The shaved base itself was light and fluffy and with the matcha was amazing. I would recommend mixing it together when eating otherwise you would be eating clumps of matcha powder although the matcha powder tasted relatively high quality and was coated generously. The mochi felt slightly out of place and became hard, but is to be expected with the cold. Cream puff: The cream puff was delicious with a cookie crumble top which was slightly salty and sweet. The inside was unexpected as it wasn't cream but I believe was rather the bingsu inside and had cookie crumbs inside aswell. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and the workers were so amazing. I definitely recommend checking the place out and I will certainly come back soon! Thank you for this amazing experience :) read more

This place has been under construction for a long time, so when I saw it was finally opened I knew I had to try it out. As I walked in with friends, we were immediately greeted by the man working the cashier, who was super patient in explaining the different menu offerings to someone who had never tried bingsu before (me!) Our food came out super quickly, and we were even offered an extra pastry by the waitress, on the house. Strawberry Bingsu: The strawberries were incredibly high quality; fresh, sweet, and they definitely don't skimp! There's a layer of strawberry, then shaved ice, then what I assume to be ice cream in the center. It's also topped with condensed milk and red bean mochi. It was super delicious, although definitely not cold enough for a slow eater like me and it melted before my friend and I could finish it. I would not suggest eating one of these alone, bring a friend or two! Cloudy Latte: I'm no coffee connoisseur, but the coffee here is amazing--smooth, creamy and lacks that bitter tang that usually deters me from stronger drinks. The cloudy latte is a latte topped with a thick creamy foam, similar to a milk foam you'd order on boba. The latte was super creamy and tasty, and not too sweet at all. It was also reasonably priced; at $5.25, I can see myself coming back just to get a quick drink. The ambiance of the store is cozy and inviting, and the interior design is very efficient and organized. My friend noted she could definitely come back and study here. Overall this was a great place to try my first Bingsu! The workers provide amazing service, and I will definitely be returning. read more

This charming shop, tucked away in downtown Mountain View, has a spacious indoor area and an outdoor patio, ideal for socializing or studying. I've visited twice now! Pros: - Visual Menu: Abundant photos of menu items ensure you know exactly what to expect. - Efficient Ordering: Kiosk ordering makes for quick service and no lines. - Ample Seating: Enjoy a large indoor seating area and a lovely backyard patio. - Photo-Ready Food: The dishes are aesthetically pleasing and perfect for food photography. Cons: - Understaffed: With only 1-2 workers, wait times can be excessively long (e.g., 20-30 minutes for a single ice cream even with no one else in line). Not really sure why it takes so long. - Pricey: The offerings, essentially shaved ice with toppings, are quite expensive for what you receive. - Small Servings. Photos look deceiving, the bowl is very small, especially for something that's priced at 15-20$. Shaved Ice Recommendations: -Tiramisu: This shaved ice offers both the best taste and value. It comes with a mini side of espresso. -Strawberry Cheesecake: The cheesecake is extremely small. I'd pass on this especially if you don't like yogurt. -Biscoff: Most simple and plain. read more
I've always seen this dessert place but never got the chance to try. I came on a random weekday and there were many tables open. We got the plain strawberry bingsu -- the shaved ice was light and fluffy and the strawberries were very tart (mixed with condensed milk). We also got red bean inside the shaved ice which added a nice sweet flavor. The inside is super spacious and clean! read more

I can't recommend Sulbing enough! Their Injeolmi Bingsu is seriously one of the best desserts I've ever had. It's made with injeolmi (sticky rice cakes), roasted soybean powder, and milk, and it's not just delicious--it feels light and healthy too. I'm from Korean and I know the story behind Sulbing. the owner created this recipe for her dad, who was dealing with diabetes, so it's made with wholesome, natural ingredients. The bingsu itself is super creamy and fluffy, and the nutty flavor of the soybean powder is just perfect. The chewy rice cakes add a really nice texture--it's such a satisfying combo! The vibe at Sulbing is cozy and chill, and the staff is always friendly. Whether you're a bingsu fan or trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. read more

Honestly, I came to this place for the first time to try a drink , since they don't have matcha here I tried the next best thing that the cashier recommended but I really didn't care to much for it. It was okay I guess, but 2 days ago my husband and I walked by the shoppe and I decided to give it another try , this time the main desserts they carry caught my eye since it's what other people seemed to be enjoying in there dinning area and it looked really good! I once again asked the cashier what their most popular item was and he said it was their melon or tiramisu shaved ice. We got the tiramisu and let me say we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was!! It was the perfect amount of sweet not toooo sweet but also very flavorful of coffee and chocolate. I immediately told my husband how we should invite friends and family to come here. I've thought about this dessert ever since. I CANNOT wait to try all the other flavors!!! read more

Are there any vegan options?
For the bingsu, no. But, they have dairy alternatives (ie oat milk) for their coffee and tea drinks.
