We stopped at Sugar after having dinner in Over The Rhine. The walk up window was wonderful. You can grab a sweet treat and continue to stroll. You could see perfectly what they offered through the window and service was quick. Among other items you could get a ice cream sandwich made with Jeni's ice cream. You could tell it is a popular dessert spot based on the line. We ordered an oatmeal crème pie and M&M cookie. The cookies were enormous. One cookie was enough for two people. If you want to stroll around with a sweet treat this is the place for you.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! The perfect stop for those who need something sweet after a meal in OTR. We have had the Brookie before and it was amazing, but there are so many interesting options! This time around, we got the Oatmeal Cookie Pie, and it surprised us with how amazing it was. It was the perfect amount of sweet with not being overpowering.

We got there right as they unlocked the door and the employee working was very nice and welcoming! You order at a little walkup window and you can see the cookies and other baked goods through the window. We got the chocolate chip bomb cookie and it is honestly one of the best cookies I've ever had in my life and my boyfriend agrees with that sentiment. Great location near a lot of restaurants if you want a little sweet treat after you're done eating.

If you want a quick on the go dessert after your dinner in OTR. This little hole-in-the-wall (Literally it's a window on a building) is absolutely perfect a little sweet treat for us whenever we go out in OTR. This time around we got a oatmeal cookie pie and it was amazing, not too sweet and perfect ratio of cream and cookie. we got one to share with 2 people and it was more than enough! A regular cookie is $3 a premium i think is $7 but they're huge and so soft!

This little walk up window is the perfect place to stop for a quick sweet treat. They serve Jenni's ice cream and all sorts of baked goods. My wife and I grabbed a couple cookies for our first time there and they did not disappoint. These cookies are what Dirty Dough advertises but don't actually deliver on. The brookie was a chocolate chip cookie with a full brownie stuffed inside and it was delicious.

After months of eyeing their treats via Instagram, I finally stopped by Sugar on a trip back home to Cincinnati. It was SO hard to choose from their case of goodies, but we finally decided on the iced brownie and the Reese's chocolate chip cookie. Y'all, I will dream about this brownie for months. Thinking about it makes me emotional. It was a physical, mental, and spiritual experience. The cookie was unbelievably good, too. Bonus: the woman who helped us was super kind and welcoming (even if they're just a walk-up window for now). I will be making Sugar a mandatory stop on all trips home from now on.

Best desserts in the area hands down. Their storefront recently just opened back up after offering delivery service only during the pandemic. While they aren't "walk-in" at the moment, they recently just installed a walk up window to offer the most protection between you and staff! There's a lot of construction going on in OTR right now, but I was still able to find nearby parking! They have lots of specialty cookies as well as cupcakes, slices of cakes, and other goodies! Their menu is ever changing snd love seeing what Drea comes up with! Everything I've ever tried here has been amazing, my personal favorite is the cinnamon roll! Way better than a popular favorite down the street...haha. Seriously don't sleep on this place. GO RIGHT NOW!

What an amazing cookie they sell here. The Big Az Reese's cookie - just wow. I came to pick up a cinnamon roll (also yum), and grabbed a cookie as well... It's about the size of my head, over an inch tall, and filled with yummy gooey Reese's chips! Easily sharable for 6 people (if you dare to share.) I never really go down that side side street off main but I'm glad I know where to find this great spot the next time I want something sweet! It's a walk-up window, minimal wait, and the staff is great. Would return

Look no further for some of the best sweet treats on Cincinnati! Sugar made me a towering Neapolitan cake for my PhD graduation party that all the guests raved over. Anytime I'm in OTR on the weekend I stop by for inventive cookies that make you say "I need that!" My favorites are any version of their s'mores cookie and the chocolate biscoff.

Walking past this window and seeing all the wonderful sweets it was impossible not to stop. They had so many delicious looking options in the case but we opted for a Chocolate chip cookie sandwich with cream and more chocolate chips. It was absolutely amazing! We were tempted to go back the 2nd night and get another one it was so good. Would absolutely recommend and will be stopping by the next time we are in the area.

Okay so I know we're not supposed to be leaving reviews based off of getting food for free through Yelp events. So that's why I'm not basing this review on their FANTASTIC, GIGANTIC, cream-cheese frosted, sweet and spicy, cinnamon rolls. I'm giving Sugar 5 stars for their red velvet cupcake, and their friendly staff. Both of which made my experience at the pick up window a great visit. Even though their entire menu looks like it'd be well worth a shot, I chose the red velvet because it's my partner's favorite. She's a harsh cupcake critique, breaking down the finer points of many a baked good. And in this scenario, she had nothing negative to say. The frosting was creamy and rich, the cake sweet and moist, and the serving large. It was everything a cupcake should be. Even though the window stayed busy, the staff kept smiling and serving up the treats one after another.

I really enjoyed the baked good from Sugar! The cinnamon roll was delicious, it tastes better warmed up in the oven or microwave! The cookies were amazing, a nice balance of soft and sweet. The brownie was super rich, could only eat a part of it, but still delicious. I loved the creamy peanut butter cream on top. The birthday cake cookie was amazing! Big fan of this place. They currently have a walk-up window open only on Fridays and Saturday. Can't wait to come back and try everything else. Love this gem in OTR.

This place doesn't disappoint - there is so much to choose from and the options rotate daily ! I personally love the blueberry fritters - They are huge and layers of blueberry yet they are only 3 bucks (that's so cheap). The strawberry cheese pastry was also delicious and flaky. The only thing I ordered that I wasn't a huge fan of was the pretzel - it was big and the price was right but it didn't taste better than a wawa pretzel twist. The donuts also come warm since the case seems to be a warming case which is a nice touch. The workers are so nice and they will explain every flavor to you if needed since there are no labels. The place is small and so is the parking lot.

I'm so glad we did! It was amazing. The shop is quite small and bustling on a Sunday morning. The baked goods are displayed mouthwateringly behind glass, nicely labeled. I do not think it would be possible to leave with just one item -- so many delicious-looking sweet and savory options, and so well crafted. We choose a pecan sticky bun (the last one in the case - ha! Sorry, people behind us, you didn't get to experience that caramelly flavor with the salt flake zings!), a s'mores morning bun (the delicate chocolate filling didn't over power and the whipped creamy topping were perfect) an apricot shortbread cookie (literally melts in your mouth!), and a kimchi danish (not me - my daughter picked that one and loved it). They were all superb, worth having a conversation about! We also had drinks - iced vanilla latte and a seasonal apple cider with cold foam -- also very tasty. There were a couple of tables inside, a couple outside. It's a popular place so consider yourself lucky if you snag a spot.
