Me and my honey came for a late night snack as this was the only ice cream shop that closed at 10 near us. The ice cream shop is small and cozy. I could tell that the worker was overwhelmed as she was the only one there taking care of over 6 people at a time. We waited 10 minutes before being greeted and I tried two ice creams to see what I wanted. I tried mango lemon and that was tasty more like a summer sorbet. I ended up going with their cookies and biscoff which was by far my favorite ice cream I have tried. The perfect combo for a vanilla ice cream. Ordered a pint and it was well worth it. Recently came here to try some ice cream since I was in the area staying nearby. Overall, this place had a great variety of flavors. I did try their vegan cookies and cream and although the price was not bad at all their ice cream lacked a lot of flavor. The store was really clean and the staff was modest for the most part. Ice cream was so yummy! I had the limoncello (non dairy) and it was very refreshing. I love that they have original flavors like PB crunch or pistachio tahini. Nice local spot in Pleasant Ridge without the lines of Jeni's with great ice cream. They also have cake rolls (they have a name but I forget). Not your typical flavors but very delicious especially if you have an adventurous palate. Some tables and seating inside and also some chairs outside. Cincinnati loves its Graeter's, but this place is the the real ice cream gem of the city. Fresh ingredients and thoughtful flavor profiles without oversweetening. While the cookies and mint is my absolute go to, I'm never disappointed branching out to more creative flavors. They have some roll cakes sold by the slice, and these are ok, but if you go online you can order custom ice cream cakes and these are absolutely incredible. The woman working was friendly and quick; we received our ice cream right away. I ordered a scoop of brown butter caramel on a waffle cone and my daughter ordered a scoop of strawberry chip on a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles. I was super impressed with the quality & flavor of my ice cream, and the waffle cone was amazing. We beat the rush but very quickly the line was out the door and around the corner I was SO happy to see they had a Dairy Free and Gluten Free option at the PR location as last time I visited Walnut Hills they only had DF Icecream with Gluten in it which I unforutnely could not eat. And I was even more pleasantly surprised when it was actual Dairy Free Icecream and not a Sorbert! The Raspberry Vegan icecream was very flavorful and my partner got the Cookies & Cream icecream and had similar sentiment. I am excited to come back once they are finally open and have added in sound dampening items, and finalized the flow of traffic to make the total experience. The ice cream was good overall! It was creamy and didn't melt too fast. I got the lavender flavor and a chocolate flavor as well. I was glad I got two different flavors because the lavender was a little overpowering after a while. They do have vegan and gluten free flavors which is nice.
