    Small chocolate dip with sprinkles
    Ann S.

Loved our chocolate dipped soft serve ice creams at Dairy Corner! The ice cream was exactly as expected and the chocolate dip coating got nice and hard. This time we also splurged and did the rainbow sprinkles on the the outside - outstanding! Added a little pizzazz. This is a standard little ice cream stand on the corner in Newtown. Parking lot adjacent to the building, and some tables and benches available for seating. Yes, a little scruffy but in a "been here a lot of years" kind of way. Quirky menu sort of spread out over all the windows gives you something to look at while you wait in line - and in summer, there is usually a line. *Cash only* The staff has always been efficient when we've been there, actually sort of anonymous since there are so many signs all over the windows, you can barely see them - you order, pay and are handed your ice cream. Not much more to it, and there doesn't need to be. This will be on regular rotation for our summertime ice cream requirements!

Yummiest soft serve in cincy, hands down!! Even though the hours and cash only stink, the icecream makes up for it. I always get a medium chocolate cone and it never disappoints!

Classic local town soft serve ice cream spot. Walk up windows. Friendly ice cream servers. Cash only. White, chocolate, or zebra cones. Strawberry dipped or chocolate dipped cones. You know, all the classics. They also have their version of the blizzard with all your favorite toppings. The shakes are good (but better across the street at UDF). My favorite item here is the chip wheelies, chocolate chip cookie sandwiched around vanilla scoop. This place is great. It nostalgic. Come here after a date, bring the team here after a big win, or bring your buddies with a case of the munchies. No one will be disappointed. Call to make sure its open. Usually opens late spring closes mid fall. There are occasions when there are long waits. The line moves pretty quickly but the line can look intimidating. Go enjoy! This is my favorite seasonal place to stop by for a cold sweet treat! The establishment has been around so long that my grandparents actually had their first date here! I rotate with my order, but especially enjoy the red soda floats and the chocolate ice cream with peanut sprinkles. My mom always gets the vanilla cup with butterscotch hard shell topping which is delicious. They have a good amount of outdoor seating. I have memories of collecting caterpillars outside here as a kid - it's a very kid-friendly place! Just make sure you bring cash - it's cash only! Always looking forward to my next stop back.

We headed to Dairy Corner for pre-dinner dessert while waiting to pick up a to-go order from 50 West. There was a bit of a line but they are super efficient in moving everyone through quickly. I appreciate that they don't take the next order until they've finished yours, so you're not standing around awkwardly trying to stay out of the way while you wait. However, I hate how most ice cream places hand you the ice cream and THEN take your money. The woman in front of us begged to pay before they made her cone and honestly she's on to something. Anyway, I ordered the s'more sundae and only got a little bit of marshmallow on my change as we headed around back to the seating area/park. The sundae was ridiculous in the best way possible. Chocolate coating in the cup, topped with swirl soft serve, marshmallow creme, teddy grahams and whipped cream. Indulgent and mildly extravagant without being too much. My husband, meanwhile, raved about his butterscotch malt, which I admit, was really good and maybe better than my sundae. All in all, I kind of wish they took credit and that the parking lot was a bit bigger but mad props for efficiency and slinging ice cream faster than maybe any other dairy whip in the vicinity. I'll be back for a shake sometime soon.

Service was much better and the employees were much more pleasant. They were working hard on a Memorial Day Weekend. Got the regular sundae with hot fudge and marshmallow. Great sweet treat at a more than reasonable price.

One of the few fun things someone can do in Newtown is go to Dairy Corner. It's located right on the corner of two busy streets. They're not that busy though. It attracts crowds but it's usually not too crazy. One exception is if a youth baseball team shows up. It is best known for their dipped cones. It has several flavors for the hard shells. They also have a popular dirt sundae. It's made with crushed Oreos. The menu is posted in pieces all around the window. It has several slushie flavors. I had the Blue Raspberry Ice Ball. It's about $2 for a regular. They also have regular food, greasy stuff like hot dogs and barbecue sandwiches. It's been there forever. It's so popular because there aren't many other choices. There's a nice seating area with a few benches and tables surrounded by trees.

This is a typical ice cream shop open in the summer time. It has your traditional soft serve and then some other funky stuff. I had a dip, which ice cream dipped into a flavored shell of sorts (pics attached). The reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is 1: it's cash only, a little inconvenient and 2: no where to sit. On a summer night I love to sit outside an ice cream place and enjoy my ice cream and conversations with my friends. The pricing is reasonable enough. Would come here again.

Vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate topped with a candy crunch and peanut topping. Delicious!!

Truly a fan! I was at a baseball game just down the street when one of the gals in the bleachers suggested getting ice cream right around the corner. It literally is a hole in the wall. You walk up and order your ice cream--and it's delicious! This shop reminds me of going to get ice cream when I was a kid, and it brings back all the feels! Know that they only except cash, but they are pretty cheap. There is plenty of parking behind their shop, as well as a UDF right across the street that has parking. You can get anything from a dirt sundae with crushed up Oreos and worms to shaved ice and ice cream mix together to dipped cones and sundaes. I asked the young girls who were working there what was their favorite, and they quickly suggested the dipped Cone topped with peanuts and candy crunch. I tried it, and it was amazing! BONUS: this ice cream shop is only a few minutes from the bike trail. You would definitely have to map out what turns to take, as you would have to leave the bike trail for a bit--but it would be worth the stop.

Stopped by for a sweet treat since it was a beautiful evening and I've always heard great things about this dairy whip. It was good. Nothing special. Banana split lacked flavor. I'm not even sure they put all the toppings on.

I couldn't believe this Ice cream shop has been a local neighborhood favorite since 1955... my husband grew up going to this place for ice cream regularly and I was so happy to be able to see it during our visit in Cincinnati. It's very nostalgic and sweet!!

    Jello-esque & grainy.

Icy and grainy texture. Not at all what I remember. Better off going to UDF across the street. My kids wouldn't even eat it.

The old-school charm of the shop, with its vintage chairs and ice cream diner vibe, felt like stepping back in time. My wife and i decided to indulge in a sweet treat and as we waited for our orders. She opted for two scoops of chocolate and coffee, while i chose a unique sundae named bourbon it has vanilla, chocolate, and coffee all topped with hot fudge and caramel. Each bite was bursting with flavors that were both rich and unexpected, thanks to their homemade creations. The attendant proudly shared the shop's history having been open since 1908, adding a layer of nostalgia and authenticity to our experience. Walking away, i couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a delightful spot. The combination of rich history, exceptional flavors, and friendly service made Aglamesis Brothers a must-visit for anyone in Cincinnati seeking a memorable ice cream parlor experience. I'll definitely be back to savor more of their creations and to delve into the stories of their long-standing tradition. Until then, thank you for a truly delightful journey! There are tons of different toppings and their prices are decent with the size ratio but the taste of all the ice cream except vanilla is either over power of flavor or not enough flavor .. there is no in between. This month I will say all the flavors are pretty good : the brownie is delicious but not what I would expect from brownie, the pistachio was the bomb but I am not a fan of pistachios usually so that is sort of surprising. The blueberry and strawberry are too artificial for my taste but both dole whips are delicious but a little runnier compared to other dairy spots. No samples of the flavors but they do offer adorable free pup cones that are a tiny cake cone with vanilla ice cream .. its way better than the other spots! There are no banana splits but other whimsical things like pretzel and cookie cones and nachos. It's a cute little walk up window that is open until 930 and is conviently located off madison rd. they have an area with picnic tables but bring bug spray! As someone not currently eating…read moredairy, I was pleased to see they had a dole whip flavor (mango) that was pretty good but I didn't find it as good as most other dole at other dairy whips I've had this summer. It was just a little more melty and less flavorful. One thing that's a little strange is that the walk up window is backed out, making it hard to tell if anyone is inside. It looks like it's closed, but you ring the bell and then are served. The served was very good but I feel the shop would be more approachable if the window was open or there was sole seating or signs he! I don't know that I would have stopped for a visit if it weren't part of the Cincy Battles promotion we were doing. My family members and I all commented that we would have tried some of the more unique menu items but the prices were a little more than we wanted to spend for an ice cream outing. Many of the items were more than $10. Finally, the seating area outside is really nice! There are plenty of covered picnic tables so there's shade and rain protection. It's in a little courtyard away from the street. Overall, i probably wouldn't make a trip to Madisonville just for this, but it was a lovely summer experience.
