They were a little bit pricey for the serving size, and they have an up-charge if you use a credit card or debit card, so I would suggest bringing cash. I usually go to the sweets and eat, and I always take my kid here. Usually the workers handle it with care and quality service. But today I had went and it was a little girl with curly hair and hello Kitty nails, and another girl with a ponytail with light brown hair, and the girl with the hello Kitty nails was very rude. Didn't know what she was doing and didn't know what customer service was or even how to talk to somebody. She told me that they had no cake cones and that they only had "small and big" cones. the other girl asked her if she took care of all the customers already and was quick to say I don't know and throw her hands in the air and be rude to her as well. I would give this place five stars on a normal day, but she ruined my experience todayand she was very rude. I don't care if you're 15 years old or not have some hospitality. read more

There isn't much to say except that they have blue raspberry soft serve. Not just any mind you. It tastes identical to the blue smurf/ huckleberry dairy cones from Hanna-Barbera land at Kings Island. Be sure to bring cash because it's $.50 more if you use a credit card. read more

I would say this place is average. Nothing special. It wasn't the best service but it wasn't the worst. There was a .50 cents upcharge for using a card but it's not too bad. I've been coming here since it opened which is awhile ago and I didn't have a driver's license. Definitely a highlight of the summer season and a good place to come out for dessert at a great price. I grew up getting ice cream from here. There's a certain nostalgia that has kept me coming back in my adulthood - that's where anything positive ends. The pricing is way too high for what you get - Not to mention the $0.50 upcharge for any credit purchase, regardless of overall spent. I have walked away from this place upset every time I've attempted to buy ice cream here in the past two years. The oreo flurry I ordered was basically a large cup of soft serve with a few crumbs sprinkled on top. Whenever attempting to order a Sundae or cone go-to, we've been massively shorted on ice cream. Last night the waffle cone I ordered contained about half the ice cream I would expect, as the girls barely filled the cone since I asked for it "flipped" to easily take in the car. When they also forgot the jimmies, I mentioned it was told "That's $0.75 extra." I said forget it and they hastily handed me a large cup full of jimmies (Which spilled all over my seat on the way home - that was fun to clean up.) Save your money, go to McDonald's for soft serve or a flurry - it tastes the same as what they're selling. Or better yet - take that $8 to the grocery and buy enough ice cream for days. read more

This is one of my favorite ice cream locations. They offer a great variety of favors in the soft serve, my favorite is the orange and vanilla soft serve. They have sundaes and malted and milk shakes. Lots of different coatings including sprinkles and hard shell chocolate. read more

I was craving a root beer float pretty bad. So my friend and I decided to walk up to sweet n eats. We got the root beer float and a shaved ice. My complaint is that my root beer float was like 80% ice cream and 20% root beer and I wasn't satisfied. Service wasn't bad. But wasn't awesome. read more

I have been coming to sweets and eats since I was a child. I love everything about it, EXCEPT my most recent encounter. I got a flurry because they're the best. The last time I got one, I noticed the reese cups were lagging a bit. I paid $5.00 for a large so I figured the candy would be compensated for the price as well, but I decided this time I would get extra candy. I almost fell over when she told me extra candy would be A DOLLAR! A dollar? I could buy a candy bar for that price and do it myself... Some of the best creamy whip in the Cincinnati area. I love their soft serve and frozen yogurt, but there are many other sweet things to choose from if that's not your cup of tea. A word to the wise... Sweet N Eats, to my knowledge, is the only other place in the Cincinnati area aside from Kings Island to serve the blue soft serve. Smurf it up. read more
