WOW! I'm an ice cream lover and this did not disappoint. Thanks to the reviewer who mentioned that the flurries are generous with candies -- big chunks all the way from top to bottom. I went with Oreo & Reese's peanut butter cups. So. Good. Dairy free ice cream available. Drive through or walk up. They do accept credit cards, and they have a few picnic tables to sit and eat. read more

We love going to the cone zone. It has an amazing selection and the quality is great every time!

Ice cream is delicious and the service was out standing. Come out and support local own Business.

Great Vegan soft serve with a drive thru and great customer service. Hard to find vegan soft serve anywhere south of Columbus, so whenever I'm in town I make a stop for some great soft serve. read more

Larger line at the new DQ. Waited in line way too long for the ONLY 3 cars in line. You gotta do better if you're gonna compete! Food qualit...meh! Length of service...too long! Quality of service...meh! read more

In what has appeared to be a vain attempt at getting the conehead badge, I visited the Cone Zone (formerly called Tummy Treats), and I certainly enjoyed my yogurt. The menu includes such awesome things as a Fried Ice Cream Sundae ($3.75), Hawaiian Ice ($1.50-2), and cheese coneys!? ($1.50). Great prices and fast service make this a nice thing to have in the area. I am sure the students leave the school across the street and head directly to this place. I do not know if the Mayor of Cheviot (Sam Keller http://www.cheviot.org/officials.shtml) owns or is even involved with this business or (Keller's Cheviot Cafe http://www.yelp.com/biz/cheviot-cafe-cincinnati ), but both are great places to spend your time and money. Satisfy your sweet tooth and stop by the Cone Zone. The outdoor area is a nice place too, but not until it warms up a bit. read more

4 stars for the menu options, the service and the convenience. -1 star for only serving soft serve. I HATE soft serve but I really wanted to treat the fam to something other than an ice cream chain and we came here. We did enjoy the outdoor seating and it was warm so it was really comfy and my son was able to run around and burn off his sugar rush. This place actually has a drive thru which I thought was hilarious but cool. It seems to be an independent ice cream parlor thing. Not my favorite of the independents but still refreshing and the sign in front always has a clever joke or something to catch your attention. There are so many menu option that you could have a different item everyday of the summer if you wanted! Mind blowing! Not so humbly submitted, King Michael C. read more

There's nothing quite as satisfying as taking a nice healthy walk around the neighborhood and finishing it off with a huge ice cream cone. Sometimes you need a creamy whip that is within walking distance (ok, lots of times). Cone Zone has changed hands a few times over the best 6 or 7 years. The latest owners seem to really enjoy the place and are working hard to make it a neighborhood destination. The biggest new addition is the inside dining area. No longer will rain ruin your creamy whip plans! It has 5 tables and a little bar area and you can place your order inside as well. Very nice! The ice cream is good, and the serving sizes are larger than the other creamy whips in the area. Good value for your money. The only bad item I have tried is the strawberry shake. Their strawberry shake uses syrup instead of real strawberries. That's a big no-no for me. They also serve coneys and burgers that are good, too. Their chili is more "real" chili than "cincinnati-style" chili, which was a bit of a surprise (but in a good way). They also have parking in the rear of the building and an outside seating area, so everything you need! Go check it out! read more

I was very excited to take my family for ice cream to a local place. The experience was unpleasant to say the least. The person who seemed to be the owner was not helpful, displayed a bad attitude and lacked any interest in helping us with our order. It was our first time and we felt unwelcome and ultimately what we order was not all that great. It's definitely unfortunately to have places with service like this ,open to the public running so poorly. read more

Great ice cream! So many sundae and milkshake options and they have dairy free options which is awesome!

This place is absolutely AWESOME! they're really friendly, they're pretty fast with all the cars going through, takes a tad longer if your on foot at window but it's all worth it! These owners and they're own kids and family that work there are extremely friendly, and make sure you get what you ordered, and the BUCKEYES ... OMG! I have to buy 10 or more at a time, if you've never been here.. try it! And my own kids said this place makes putz ice cream to shame !! I'm headed there now that I think of it .. try it! You'll live it! And I personally recommend for your first time going.. get a flurry.. you will NOT be disappointed! Pick your candy and try it., read more

Normally I have nothing but praise for Cone Zone!! Great service, great taste and options. Today was a completely different story! I went through the drive through and after a minute no one came to the window. I took a moment to check their hours (1pm - 9pm) since it was around 6pm I was right in the middle of their service hours. I looked over to see if there were employee cars in the lot (yes, 2). I waited another minute but no one came to help. Very rude, very disrespectful and very disappointing!! read more

I wasn't going to write a review about my bad experience but after seeing someone in the reviews say they got discriminated against, I'm DEFINITELY not going to be back now. My experience was minor compared to that, but still ridiculous. My partner and I are vegan and they have dairy free soft serve, so I wanted to take him to try it. We pull up to the window to order, I ask about the flavors. They only had vanilla and orange (weird but ok). So I ask if we can do a vanilla and Oreo flurry, girl says no for some reason and I ask what we can do. She says a shake or cup with toppings. I say two shakes, one large, one small, and she says they "cant do large for dairy free, because it uses too much product". I'm getting frustrated at this point but I say medium is fine. She goes to put in the order and comes back to tell me they can't do shakes. I say "what CAN you do" and she says ice cream in a cup with toppings. Fine, sure. We pay and it was my mistake I forgot to ask about the ingredients, my partner has a soy allergy but I was told multiple times in the past it was almond milk ice cream. I ask again if it was almond milk ice cream to be sure, girl says yes. I ask if it contains soy just to be safe and she comes back to tell me it's SILK. Silk like soy milk. I asked for clarification because I know silk does make almond milk, but all they kept saying was "it's silk" and wouldn't give me an ingredient list. We had to get a refund and we went through it all for nothing. I should have asked in the beginning and that's my bad, but vegans should know before they go you're probably gonna jump through hoops to figure out what you can order if you don't want it plain. Tl;dr Don't support them, the owner discriminated against a gay person. But if you do: Vegans, keep it simple or you're going to jump through hoops to get your order. People with allergies, ask to see ingredients right off the bat. read more

Our inaugural family visit to the Cone Zone in Cheviot was with mixed reviews. Overall, we were pretty pleased with the selection and our ice cream. I got a medium chocolate/vanilla twist, my husband got a small Oreo "flurry" made with vanilla frozen yogurt, and the kids got a kid-sized orange/vanilla twist and vanilla cone with chocolate dip top, respectively. Both the ice cream and the yogurt were very, very thick, and I would describe the ice cream as being custard-like. While tasty, my husband and I both agreed that there was something about everything that seemed a bit artificial. It made my stomach queasy afterwards, which is what also happens when I try ice cream from buffet restaurants. Perhaps they use mixes? They do have a lot of popular ice cream options, plus some unique things like fried ice cream topping and chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick. I really liked that they offered most things with the option of using frozen yogurt (floats, shakes, etc.). That's nice if you are looking for a lighter, healthier option. Our order came to just over $8, which was pretty reasonable, and although we had cash on us for once, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are one of the few creamy whips that take credit credits. It's definitely family-run spot with kids helping out, and the location looks really clean and well done. My main complaint was how long it took us to get served. They have a walk-up window and a drive-thru for convenience. We opted for the drive-thru, but regretted it immediately. There was no one waiting at the walk-up window and we were only the 3rd car in the drive-thru, but it took us around 20 minutes to get our order. They seemed to have plenty of staff and it was a cooler day, so I can't imagine what it'd be like on a busy hot summer night. We'll probably go back, but will definitely try parking and using the walk-up window next time. read more

I love a good creamy whip! My loyalties lie with another one... but that may be changing! Three of us braved the 30 degree weather to walk (yes, walk!) to Cone Zone tonight. And it was totally worth the frozen fingers and toes. I am a huge fan of a Reese Cup flurry/blizzard. It is one of the few things I cannot resist, despite the calories. I have very definite opinions about what makes a good one... It must have chunks of the cups, not just tiny pieces. I absolutely HATE when the last quarter of my flurry is ice cream only. Cone Zone is winning on all accounts. Too cold? They have a drive through window! Once it warms up... there are plenty of picnic tables. I have the feeling that Cone Zone is going to get way too much of my business this summer..... read more

It's an ice cream stand... The place is run by kids. I don't have high expectations of service but was annoyed that they charged 50 cents for a cup of water and it was a super small cup. I have never in my almost 25 years of life been discriminated against for being gay. This 'family friendly' so called establishment has a shared parking lot with a tattoo shop myself and my girlfriend were visiting. While in the parking lot me and my girlfriend were over arms length apart, shared a simple kiss and the owner of Cone Zone came out and told us we had to leave because they were family friendly and apparently we didn't fit the mold of her perception of this. I am completely baffled in awe and will never give Cone Zone my business. read more

Alright. I'm about to be real right now. I mean no disrespect to the owners or it's employees but come on!! After a horrendous experience last year, I'd figure I'd give it one more shot. Once again... I'm sorry that I did. Value: you defiantly get a lot for your money. I will give it that. Everything else: last year, my wife and I wanted a nice summer treat so we decided to try this place out. we frequently go to zip dip. I order a flurry and my wife a slush puppy (or something similar). A flurry is similar to a DQ blizzard. I order a snickers flurry. I get handed a melting mess. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY'RE OBSESSED WITH OVER FLOWING THE CUP. She hands me a cup with ice cream and snickers three inches above the rim. She hands me the melting mess and it's dripping on me. I hand it back to the girl and ask her to get a different one that's not a melted mess. She then gives me my wife's slushy and upon first sip, she starts coughing. She asked me to try it and I do. It was straight up disgusting. Literally like if she made a drink with 80% syrup and 20% slush. It tastes like cherry cough syrup. I ask her to remake it as well. She hands me the new flurry and it's still a melted mess. Their ice cream melts fast. Even though I've already paid for it, I drive off and decided screw it. I'll take the $8.00 loss. I don't even get the slushy back and I throw that discussing melted mess out the window and drive off. Fast forward to today. I order something called the snowball. Basically, I figured it would be a slushy with ice cream. that's the description. once again... I have no idea why they are so freaking obsessed with overdoing it. they hand me a 16 ounce cup that has a gigantic snowcone over top melting ice cream. The syrup from the snow cone has already begun melting along with the ice cream. it is dripping all over me. It got all over my shirt. The Cherry Syrup Also Got All Over my Shorts. And to Make Matters Even Better... The young Lady Doesn't Even Hand me a Napkin When She Gives me The Item. Needless to Say I Will Never go There Again. To sum it up: don't use the drive-through. don't buy the ice cream. go down the road to zip dip and buy it there instead. Stop overflowing your cups. Do try to cram 20 oz in a 16 oz cup. FOR THR LOVE OF GOD, get a different yogurt or ice cream mixture or adjust your machines so it doesn't melt w/in two seconds of handing it to someone. Also, GIVE OUT NAPKINS. read more

Omg. Maybe it was the fact that soft serve tastes AMAZING right now, but I had a pretzel M&M flurry here after lunch and I literally cannot wait to go back. This is definitely a place that I would drive way out of my way to get some delicious soft serve. This place has a drive-thru (always a bonus) and the choice of yogurt or soft-serve ice cream. I thought the yogurt was some of the best I've ever had, and my mouth is literally watering just thinking about it now. read more

I've been here several times and like the selection BUT. They have screwed up my order on two different occasions. One was a pineapple shake--how do you screw that up? By not putting pineapple in it! The other time J ordered a slush puppy float and got a snow cone instead. WTH?! I give it three stars for the selection and prices. Love The ice cream and the people that own it are so nice and amazing they always make my ice cream perfect to perfection but their employees not so much, it seems when I go there and the owners aren't there the employees would rather be on their phone and not take my order correctly then to do their job right. This was my third visit here and my only successful one. The first time the flavor machine was down, second I drove up to the window and they were closed but instead of telling me that they just stood at the drive thru window.
