This was my first time hearing about Whipty-Do and I am so glad we had an opportunity to try the yelp exclusive ice cream cone! It was so cute how the sprinkles had the Yelp shape, and strawberry vanilla swirl for the Yelp colors. The ice cream was delicious, good vanilla flavor, light and refreshing. The strawberry ice cream has this greek yogurt tanginess that made the strawberry flavor stand out and taste very natural. I thought that was really neat And the flavors paired really well with the nutella filling. This is also the first time Ive ever seen an ice cream shop with a drive through, what a great idea! I was overwhelmed with it being spread across multiple boards and signs, and it includes references to a secret menu. So I went really straight forward for my first time -- a cone with blue cream, topped with fruity pebbles. It was DELICIOUS. Every bit as good as any blue ice cream cone I've had. Cleanliness of soft serve places can be hit or miss. Friendly service is price of entry at soft serve ice cream places. And Whipty-Do knocks friendly service out of the park. Both my husband and I love ice cream so we make several stops during the summer. However, I have noticed lately an in consistency with sizes especially and the way they make our orders. I love their whipty whirls (their version of McFlurrys/blizzards). They have a great program where their staff develop secret menu items and they are always delicious. When I ordered my Coffee/Caramel Milkshake the young ladies inside did a great job of getting the shake done in a timely manner and I didn't hear any complaints while I was there. I really enjoyed the shake, and will gladly come back for a normal (okay they have some fun looking ice cream cones) ice cream cone. Prices were not bad and the flavor and consistency of my shake was very good. I have been following this place on Instagram for over a year and just finally made it for my first item. I had the pineapple Dole Whip. It's about $3 for a bowl. This is such a great thing offering this. A lot more ice cream places are carrying this, as it has become popular. They have a rotating list of flavors that also include raspberry. It can get crowded at the window, but that means people like it. Maybe try the drive thru, but that can actually be slower. I have had cones here and enjoyed them. Several weeks ago I ordered a smoothie. It was not what I expected. At other establishments there have been large chunks of cookies etc in the mix. The one I had here was tiny crumbs of ingredients. When I returned to the window to complain I was told that the ingredients are carefully measured.
