One scoop of Graeter's black raspberry chocolate chip made my work trip worth it! This location was the closest to where I was visiting. Went on a weekday evening and there was no line at all. Parking is outdoors and spacious. The black raspberry chocolate chip is their signature flavor, so I knew I had to try. I also got a scoop of their peanut butter chocolate chip. The ice cream is so extremely rich in creaminess. I guess the French Pot method truly makes a difference! I'm not a chocolate chip/chunk fan in my ice cream as the chunks are often too hard to bite into -- but these chocolate chips were soft and almost melted in my mouth. The chocolate paired perfectly with the bold and tart raspberry. The peanut butter was also incredibly indulgent and you really can't go wrong with a peanut butter + chocolate combo! This is my favorite Graeter's. Even on a hot summer day, the long lines move quickly. Really kind employees. There's also ample parking because of its tucked away location. It's clean and there's a bathroom for customers (unlike some of the smaller locations downtown). I am a bit fan of the cheese crowns in the morning (or any time). Of course the ice cream is top notch at every location. I'm more of a soft serve person but I cannot fault the ice cream here. It's dense and creamy. This place was delicious. I had heard of it before but we don't have it in Michigan. We have a few hours before a wedding today so we stopped by. I had a cup of the Midnight Snack ice cream, which had maybe fudge and PB cup and some sort of crunchy cereal in it and it was really good. Love Graeter's Ice Cream! It's a must when we visit Ohio. I have a peanut allergy and they were great about that. The one worker had a peanut allergy so she knew exactly what to do. She rewashed her hands, got a brand new tub of ice cream, a new scoop, and the bowl and spoon was from a new box. I got a double scoop--one scoop of salted caramel chip and one scoop of cookie dough chip. It was very good. It left me wanting more. I highly recommend Graeter's. read more

My boyfriend and I came in on Saturday night and had a wonderful experience with the employees working at the front. They had a really long line, but got through customers quickly. When we ordered, I asked about seasonal ice cream, and the boy who helped me at the counter was very friendly and polite & gave some good recs. After eating a quick lunch on our way home we couldn't give up trying this famous ice cream chain that makes small batches of their ice cream the old fashion way I was a little surprised that they were open so early and I didn't realize they also had a bakery shop. We picked up a coffee cake for the following day, call me in experience but all the coffee cakes I've ever had before could not compared to the one I had here. It was disappointing to find out that only certain locations sell bakery items. I would like to give a special shout out to Assistant Manager (Andrew- I think) here at this location. We came in for ice cream and my son had gotten sick while we were ordering. In a frantic, my husband rushed him to the bathroom. And I tried to have my other children sit patiently while I helped clean up. All while Andrew filled up a mop bucket, got me a trash can and helped me with the mess we had made. I was so apologetic about it and felt terrible. But he reminded me multiple times that it was okay and children got sick. There was ever a very rude customer that made comments out loud about the situation and he apologized that she was being that way. He was very patient and kind and while I was overwhelmed, frustrated and frantic it's exactly what I needed. Ahh! Graeter's Ice Cream at home in Cincinnati! This may be the best summer treat! We love Graeter's but we especially love it at home, in the place where we first had it and the location nearest our house. So many fun memories. One summer they had a piano outside and random people would play lovely music and fill the night air with fun sounds. They have about 8 round picnic style tables outside on the patio plus tables inside. This location is situated in a cluster of hotels near a big sports complex (travel sports tournaments), Kong's Island and Western and Southern tennis.....so sometime the summer lines can get really longer but it's so worth it. Their chocolate chips are just indescribable. Don't think about a regular, hard, frozen chocolate. The chocolate is more like a not quite frozen ganache! It's not hard at all! It has a deeper chocolate flavor than normal ice cream chocolate chips and some of the pieces are as big as your spoon. So occasionally you just get a giant, beautiful chocolate glob in your ice cream. Soft, and richly flavored,oh so delicious! French pot ice cream has a higher fat content and so is a far richer ice cream, raspberry chip is their most popular flavor but in our household mocha chip is the King! We also love double chocolate chip. The milkshakes are also pretty awesome because of the depth of chocolate flavor! I highly recommend any Cincinnati Graeter's location but this one is our sentimental favorite. The ice cream is consistent good at all locations. I also shipped a box to out of town people, this is an easy online process with very fun results. People are always happy to get it from far away! And we know people who have catered it to parties and it's always a big hit! Looking forward to summer and some opportunities to enjoy Graeter's in the sunset hours of a summer evening in Cincinnati. read more

Graeters is a must have when I pass through Cincinnati. I don't know of anywhere else ice cream is made like this. I wish I could find it everywhere. I think I have tried them al over the year but favorites are coconut chocolate chunk and black raspberry chip. The chocolate chunks stay soft in the ice cream and keep their flavor so almost all of the flavors have chips or chunks of chocolate in them. The creams all compliment the chocolate and flavorful. This location is a full ice cream parlor and candy store. Have your ice cream made anyway you want: scoop, sundae, or drinks. read more

No flavor in the ice cream or strawberries either, and very little hot fudge with no sweetness. The only thing with merit was the whipped cream and pecans on top. This is some of the best ice cream you're going to find. Creamier than what I'm used to, the chocolate pieces in the ice cream were as good as the ice cream itself. Very gooey.. The whole family loved their ice cream, my wife got the salted caramel and this version was beyond anything I've had. We ordered peach in a cub and we're given s'mores, usually we wouldn't complain about this but this ice cream was 8 dollars. Hands down the best ice cream in all of Cincinnati. Any of the flavors with chocolate chips have these huge chocolate chunks in them that melt in your mouth really easily, its so good. They have a wide variety of flavors and even other desserts so everyone is sure to find something they'd like. They even have donuts which are surprisingly good, not just good but actually great considering they're known for their ice cream (black raspberry chip and buckeye blitz are best).
