This is some of the best ice cream you're going to find. Creamier than what I'm used to, the chocolate pieces in the ice cream were as good as the ice cream itself. Very gooey.. The whole family loved their ice cream, my wife got the salted caramel and this version was beyond anything I've had. Kids, you know, they love ice cream from the blue stuff at Kings Island to premium so their opinion is always "yum". Friendly and patient staff. Well done! read more

Hands down the best ice cream in all of Cincinnati. Any of the flavors with chocolate chips have these huge chocolate chunks in them that melt in your mouth really easily, its so good. They have a wide variety of flavors and even other desserts so everyone is sure to find something they'd like. They even have donuts which are surprisingly good, not just good but actually great considering they're known for their ice cream (black raspberry chip and buckeye blitz are best). And if you're not trying to spend too much money, the donuts are cheaper ;) read more

Long story short: yum! Friendly staff. Amazing ice cream. Love love love love love!! read more

The Ice Cream was extremely good & the staff was patient since it was our first time. 10 out of 10, we'd go back!

Family outing to Graeter's in Mason. Trying to understand the hype. I ordered a hot fudge sundae with strawberry ice cream. I got a bland (tasteless) offering. No flavor in the ice cream or strawberries either, and very little hot fudge with no sweetness. The only thing with merit was the whipped cream and pecans on top. No comparison with a sundae from UDF. However, the very young staff were sweet. Donna Hayes read more

This is always a favorite when we are in the area. The quality of the ice cream is top notch and they have so many delicious flavors. The portions are good too, never need more than a scoop. read more

It has been ten years since we got ice cream at Graeters. We usually go to the Whippy Dip - a long tradition when we visit Mason but glad we broke that tradition today. We got the chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip and the salted Carmel. The peanut butter chip was also delicious. You can't go wrong with an ice cream visit to Graeters. This is one unique establishment Cincinnati should be proud. read more

Come on, it's Graeter's. Incredible ice cream and many locations. You can never fault them for a lack of staffing. No matter how long the line is, it never takes a long time. Plenty of kids working and they are always smiling and polite. Even though I am an Aglamacies guy, it's really two different animals. Graeter's is all about the cream and butter fat. Aglamacies is more crisp and icey. I'll take them both. You never know if you're going to run into a thumb-size chocolate chip. read more

Great peach ice cream, so creamy and delicious. Customer service? never heard of her. We ordered peach in a cub and we're given s'mores, usually we wouldn't complain about this but this ice cream was 8 dollars. We ask them if they gave us the wrong flavor, and profusely apologize for being an inconvenience. instead of being kind, and understanding, the whole working staff stopped and stared at us. They accused US of ordering wrong, even though we had other people who could verify that we ordered peach. please hire better workers who don't hate their lives!! read more

When reviewing a place like Graeter's it is difficult because everyone just LOVES the ice cream, it is a well known brand and what can you really say that hasn't been said before? When I review establishments like this I tend to think about the overall experience, or how a particular location compares to others. This location seemed to be primarily serving the two or three hotels in the vicinity. I know that mainly because we were right next door at the Hyatt Place, and I recognized several other families that were at the pool the same afternoon. I believe there was a dance competition in the area from the looks of things. We happened to arrive at a peak time, because the line was all the way to the door. The line moved rather slowly at first but eventually the kids behind the counter seemed to hit their stride and get through the hungry customers. My only complaint is that there didn't seem to be a system for taking orders and paying. Other locations have an "enter here, pay there" setup. This was more a big mash of people trying to figure out who was available to take the next customer, where do I pay, etc. Overall not terrible, but not as efficient as other Graeters I have been to in the past. read more

Best dark chocolate brownie ice cream! Their ice cream is creamy & rich ans their sorbets have amazing flavor. Definitely a Cincy must

When is Graeters disappoint? Never. This location, like many others, serves the delicious ice cream that it is famous for. I love the black raspberry chip, and, when seasonally available, the blueberry pie. This location has a good amount of seating, lots of baked goods (including samples), and lots of space. Parking is easy as well, which isn't true for all locations. If you haven't tried this ice cream, you should plan to check it out. read more

Always a win here! Staff is friendly and the store is always squared away. Had my usual chippy sandwich, my balance to the ice cream sweetness. I'm especially a fan of the peppermint chippy at the holidays, chocolate cookie with peppermint ice cream. Yum! Tonight I noticed they have taffy candy...I should have just gotten it then because I know I'll have to stop in soon for it. Peach is on the menu now too, which is a favorite. read more

Always great! The best ice cream in Cincinnati! My family loves it. It's great year round.

Always great service always great ice cream and fast as well. If you leave here unhappy there has to be something wrong with you not them.

Just had a double scoop of butter pecan and cookies n' cream in a waffle cone. It was a little taste of heaven. It was exactly what I needed. A great Friday night quick date for the hubby and I. I love the ice cream, bakery and candy. Cant give 5 stars because of the high prices and new app. Ice cream flavors with chips are the best. You can try flavors. Buckeyes are fantastic! I stick with mocha chip or double chocolate chip read more

Delicious ice cream. Made with real ingredients. Like marshmallows and actual graham crackers in the s'mores ice cream. We happened upon it completely by accident but so glad we did. My only regret...not trying their bakery items as they looked equally as tasty read more

I was there with my daughter and people kept walking in and butting in line in front of everyone because they recognized someone in line. The staff saw this happening, but did nothing about it. If this place can't come of with a better system to prevent these type of "ENTITLED" POS from being so disrespectful, then I hope people stop coming there and they go out of business. I won't be back!!!!!!! read more

Delicious ice cream! We try to make a point of stopping at a Graeters any time we're in Cincinnati for work. There is something about the chocolate they use in their mint chip and other flavors that is so much better than store bought ice cream. Definitely a favorite treat! read more

Graeter's is the only commercial ice cream producer, in the world, that still makes all of their ice cream in small batches (by hand) in two-gallon French pots. Warm cocoa is slowly added to the mixture as it freezes on the side of the pan, and then scraped off into the milk. Rah, the joy of seeing my friend's little girl find the surprise of a large chunk of chocolate at the bottom of her cup. They've been in business since 1870, and if you like history, check out their website which has lots of stories about their bygone years, including pictures of their antique scoop collection. At this particular location, you can sit outside at the patio, and play the piano as other guests (and birds) sing along. read more

We stopped after an early dinner for ice cream. They weren't very busy which was nice. The seasonal special was Key Lime Pie. I went in planning on something chocolate, but was swayed by the picture on the door. OMG, it was fabulous. The ice cream is sweet, but not too sweet, and nicely tart. Bits of cookie in the ice cream represent the crust. I would definitely have this again! read more

Bourbon pecan chocolate chip ice cream. I could stop my review right there and you would probably have everything you needed to know. It was creamy, nutty, chocolately, everything you could possibly want in ice cream. And I can't explain it, but Graeters chocolate chips don't freeze solid and hard like other brands. They are still soft when they scoop it. Which doesn't make any scientific sense, but is awesome! I got mine in a waffle cone, which was delicious. Now, as awesome as this was, there WERE some things that I would change, though my 5 star review stands. 1. My waffle cone was wrapped in paper. This paper appeared to be glued together at the seams. Well, this glue seemed to have seeped through the seams, rendering the bottom inch and a half of my waffle cone inedible, because I wasn't willing to ingest glue and paper residue. 2. I wanted to be able to buy the chocolate chips they use in their ice cream separately to take home with me. They sold other kinds of chocolates, but not the particular kind of chocolate chips that they put IN their ice cream. read more

Stopped over by chance after staying at the hotel next door, and WOW! The donuts here may be some of the best we have ever had. The staff were super friendly and it is just a cute small store. Definitely coming back to Graeter's next time we are in town. read more

Cute cheerful location with great service and delicious treats! Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of ice cream in general, but I was convinced to try some Graeter's during my visit over thanksgiving break and I was so glad for it! I especially loved the decor and history of the establishment, and the very friendly service. Since all the options looked delicious, it took us a while to pick our final three flavors, but they were super patient and helpful the whole time. Twas great to experience the famously flavorful ice cream at the city of its origins! read more

Misleading social media. They posted on Facebook on July 16th to come in July 17 for National Ice Cream Day to get a scoop of $1.52 ice cream. We went into the Mason location excited for the National Ice Cream Day discount only to be told that the discount actually could occur any day this month and will appear in your app on a random day. This was not stated on the post. We had even confirmed with the employee before ordering that they were running the $1.52 special today and he said yes but it was for only cones and not bowls so we switched our order to cones. I would not have gone in this morning had their social media post been more clear but I guess they succeeded in driving more sales today with that tactic. I even showed them the post on Facebook and they seemed to understand why it was misleading but shrugged and didn't offer to make it right. read more

Simply put: the ice cream was great. I got a scoop of the Birthday Cake and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip ice creams. Both scoops nailed the flavors and the chocolate in the PB was very good and I am not the biggest fan of chocolate in ice cream. I decided to get their seasonal Orange & Cream milkshake to go and that was also great. Wish I had one of these back home! read more

It's Graeter's!! The name speaks for itself. I've been a loyal customer for fifty nine years

Cincinnati's best ice cream. Raspberry Chip and Buckeye are the best. Generous portions and good service.
