This was a cute spot we found driving through Wyoming one night. The area itself is perfect for a nighttime stroll or midday adventure. I actually had never noticed it before so not quite sure how long it's been around. It's a cute window front type of shop that's actually connected to a house. You wait outside in line and they have some outdoor seating for you to enjoy the weather. They had a nice variety of flavors and my little were into all the different and creative names of the dishes. This will definitely be added to our rotation of night time stops. read more

Having tried most places in the area, Cowboy Cones was one I haven't. The exterior is nice on Wyoming Avenue and the friendly staff added to the experience. My issue is when I ordered. The sundae was good, but not very large. Paying $7.50 for a sundae, I expected more... A LOT MORE. I also bought a scoop of ice cream... at $5.25 for a dip. I doubt I'll be back. More ice cream for less other places, sign me up. read more

If you have not been to Cowboy Cones let me tell you what: 1- you're missing out 2- you don't know what ice cream is. The flavors are out of this world. Graeters who?! Cowboy cones gets their rich and creamy ice cream from Wisconsin and you can tell the difference in the flavors that melt in your mouth. S'mores with the marshmallow topping is one of my favorites! The owner is super sweet as are all of her employees. Catch the owner online singing as she's super talented. I love that there is seating in front of the establishment, a playground around the corner and a cute walk up window. I can't wait to go again when they reopen for the season in March. Has to be one of the most delicious ice cream places around. Very creamy. Haven't been disappointed by a single flavor we tried. "Exhausted parents" is a must have. My go-to flavor is none other than their Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. Though it is listed as an ice cream flavor, they were more than happy to make it into a milkshake for me. It consists of smooth cheesecake-flavored ice cream with a sweet raspberry ripple. To top it all of off, there are also bits of Oreo cookies and a mix of some chocolate chunks. Nice local ice cream joint on Wyoming Ave. Currently there is a cart with a brick and mortar store coming soon. There were several gluten free items (which I really appreciated)....they said that once the store opens they will stock GF cones too! I had the Superman which was colorful and smooth. Prices are a bit high, but I'm sure the portion:price ratio will stabilize once they get on their feet. Yeehaw! read more

We just drove 20 minutes out of our way to come to your establishment, and you were closed even went on Google and your website both say that you are open until 9 PM. We just drove all this way to come try your ice cream, and we're very very very thoroughly disappointed in the inability and inexcusable Ness that you can't update your website and tell us when you are closing we will never ever be back and we will tell every single person that we know that we will never ever try your ice cream again. I generously give this shop 2 stars because- ice cream. Truth is, it wasn't good ice cream. I don't know how you can mess up chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream- but it was not tasty. There were 2 pieces of cookie dough in my scoop. TWO. We ordered 3 cups of one dip each. It was $12! I feel like that's a lot for bland ice cream. Then, after we paid - my husband said, " oh I was supposed to get sprinkles on one cup." The reply was - they have to charge more, but will overlook it this time. Ugh. Really. You're charge more for sprinkles on bland, tasteless icecream? . There are too many GOOD icecream places around. We won't be back. I do need to say Covid measures were good. read more

Great service and fantastic ice cream!! I had the Iced Latte-Da, which was perfect for my chocolatey-coffee craving. I also tried the This $&@! Just Got Serious, which was also delicious. They were even knowledgeable about which flavors were gluten-free. If I visit Wyoming again soon, I will definitely visit again once they've opened the actual store (they say that hopefully this will be in 3-5 weeks, as of this posting). read more

My family and I have been 3 times since the grand opening. We all love love the ice cream. And what is better than having the very nice high school ladies serve you with a smile. So many flavors to choose from and they don't give you the side eye when you ask for more than one sample. My favorite flavor is the blueberry cheesecake. My husband's candy apple pie shake was unbelievable. He said it was the best shake he ever had. My son sticks to cotton candy and my daughter loves the lemon meringue. I enjoy the waffle cones which are very fresh. The only downside to this place is that my kids will be begging to walk here after school in 2 years when they are in middle school. I do admit, I'm a bit jealous as I only had the pastry shop and the corner store when I was coming up in Wyoming. I knocked down a star for the price but that won't stop us from partaking. It's quality ice cream and you can taste that in every bite but I almost feel like my scoop should be a bit bigger for the price. Go there, NOW. read more

They have an Ice Cream stand outside the store and should be up and running in about three weeks. I tried the Strawberry, Birthday Cake and one of the mixtures with Brownie, Cookie Dough and Carmel. Honestly, I was a little skeptical going in. All the reviews are so SO favorable, and being a little neighborhood joint 20 minutes out of town I wasn't sure if it would really hold up to what I thought was going on. I have never been happier to be wrong! This ice cream is now my favorite ice cream in Cincinnati. They have inventive but classic flavors, their ice cream base is rich and delightful, and their waffle cone was next-level delicious! Now I'm just wishing that they had a location in Cincinnati a little closer to home, but given how good it is I'm glad there's at least something stopping me from having ice cream all the time! Their walk-up window was hygienic and all staff were wearing masks so I still felt comfortable going out and getting ice cream, and they have some sidewalk tables outside if you'd like to stay near the store and eat it. There are also some picnic benches and a park nearby if you wanted to get away from foot traffic as well. Overall, highly recommend checking it out! read more

Every Monday I have two hours to kill in this area (about an hour from my home) and I'm always searching for something to do. I just found it! This place might just have the best ice cream I've ever eaten. The outdoor seating on Main Street is adorable, the staff is polite and quick, and (not that it's the most important thing, but still) the building is painted to look like a cow, which is a huge bonus for me and my kids. read more
