In what has appeared to be a vain attempt at getting the conehead badge, I visited the Cone Zone (formerly called Tummy Treats), and I certainly enjoyed my yogurt. The menu includes such awesome things as a Fried Ice Cream Sundae ($3.75), Hawaiian Ice ($1.50-2), and cheese coneys!? ($1.50). Great prices and fast service make this a nice thing to have in the area. I am sure the students leave the school across the street and head directly to this place. I do not know if the Mayor of Cheviot (Sam Keller http://www.cheviot.org/officials.shtml) owns or is even involved with this business or (Keller's Cheviot Cafe http://www.yelp.com/biz/cheviot-cafe-cincinnati ), but both are great places to spend your time and money. Satisfy your sweet tooth and stop by the Cone Zone. The outdoor area is a nice place too, but not until it warms up a bit.

4 stars for the menu options, the service and the convenience. -1 star for only serving soft serve. I HATE soft serve but I really wanted to treat the fam to something other than an ice cream chain and we came here. We did enjoy the outdoor seating and it was warm so it was really comfy and my son was able to run around and burn off his sugar rush. This place actually has a drive thru which I thought was hilarious but cool. It seems to be an independent ice cream parlor thing. Not my favorite of the independents but still refreshing and the sign in front always has a clever joke or something to catch your attention. There are so many menu option that you could have a different item everyday of the summer if you wanted! Mind blowing! Not so humbly submitted, King Michael C.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as taking a nice healthy walk around the neighborhood and finishing it off with a huge ice cream cone. Sometimes you need a creamy whip that is within walking distance (ok, lots of times). Cone Zone has changed hands a few times over the best 6 or 7 years. The latest owners seem to really enjoy the place and are working hard to make it a neighborhood destination. The biggest new addition is the inside dining area. No longer will rain ruin your creamy whip plans! It has 5 tables and a little bar area and you can place your order inside as well. Very nice! The ice cream is good, and the serving sizes are larger than the other creamy whips in the area. Good value for your money. The only bad item I have tried is the strawberry shake. Their strawberry shake uses syrup instead of real strawberries. That's a big no-no for me. They also serve coneys and burgers that are good, too. Their chili is more "real" chili than "cincinnati-style" chili, which was a bit of a surprise (but in a good way). They also have parking in the rear of the building and an outside seating area, so everything you need! Go check it out!

They even have a drive through.

The Cone Zone is a cool place on a hot day. The place is great. They have a walk up window, drive thru and inside parlor with a bathroom. The place is very clean and friendly with picnic tables out back. You get TONS of ice cream for your money. We will be back!!

    Personally I like it..

It's an ice cream stand... The place is run by kids. I don't have high expectations of service but was annoyed that they charged 50 cents for a cup of water and it was a super small cup. Other than that, it is OK. Personally I like General Custer's Golf and Gulp a lot better but I have been here a few times because it was close.

There are few things in life that manage to perfectly straddle the line between nostalgia and…read morenovelty. Snowie, the snow cone stand that goes by no other name because it needs no embellishment, is one of them. My journey with Snowie has been a tapestry of sensory joy, summer ritual, and a near-spiritual quest for the perfect blend of syrup and ice--a journey so rich and layered that I can no longer tell where the pursuit ends and the craving begins. The First Encounter I remember my first Snowie snow cone like most people remember their first kiss: vivid, electric, and oddly life-defining. It was a humid July afternoon--the kind where the heat warps the air and clings to your skin like molasses. I was hot, thirsty, and disillusioned with the world of watered-down slushes and sticky popsicles that promised relief and delivered regret. And then, like a desert mirage turned real, I saw it: the iconic Snowie stand. Bright colors, cheerful fonts, and a line that hummed with anticipation. I joined it without hesitation. What struck me first was the ice--not your standard, chunky, gravelly snow cone filler. No, Snowie's ice is different. It's whisper-soft, airy but packed, and it doesn't just hold flavor--it becomes flavor. It's not just a vessel for syrup; it is the canvas, the base note, the core of the experience. There's a silky texture to it, almost like fresh powder fallen from the sky and immediately kissed with fruit nectar. That first bite, with Tiger's Blood cascading into Blue Raspberry at the base, was more than taste. It was an awakening. The Flavor Journey You might think that once you find your favorite flavor at a place like Snowie, your journey is over. You'd be wrong. Snowie rewards the adventurous. The more you explore, the more it gives back. At first, I was loyal. Tiger's Blood, with its lush strawberry-coconut undertones, was my north star. But over time, I started experimenting--maybe a drizzle of Pina Colada on top, or a swirl of Sour Grape underneath. I fell in love again, and again, and again. There was never disappointment--only discovery. There are over dozens of flavors, and that doesn't even include the potential for layering or the fabled "create-your-own" technique. It became a ritual: each visit a strategic decision. Would today be a tropical blend with Mango, Guava, and Pineapple? Or a sour symphony with Green Apple, Lemon, and a whisper of Cherry on top? Each combination tells a different story. Some are loud and nostalgic, like Bubblegum and Cotton Candy--perfect for when I want to remember summer as a kid. Others are mature, nuanced, like the haunting balance of Blueberry and Cream. Every combo is a new page in a never-ending novel, and I am the protagonist. All I can say is - get lemon lime, cherry, and pina colada!

It brings back so many thoughts of summer! In my adult life, I have still continued to visit often, as I am on the bike trail several times throughout the week. For instance, I was on a 14 mile run in the hot sunshine and noticed that the ice shack was now open! I had to stop and get a snack, as I was so thirsty! The ice definitely cooled me down and helped give me some energy to finish my run. I have been checking out the natural flavors. These are flavors that are natural fruit juices. My favorite is the Hawaiian sunset! Even if you don't want to go all natural, there is an entire list to choose from. It would be a great mission to choose a new flavor each week over the summer (an all-time favorite is black cherry!!). They also have shaved ice available over ice cream. If you get the orange shaved ice on top of vanilla ice cream, it tastes just like a creamsicle. Grab some shaved ice and start walking down the bike trail. You see lots of people doing this during the summer, and it's the perfect summer activity and treat!
