They had a variety to offer including coffee style ice cream drinks and edible cookie dough. This is a great addition to the South Fort Thomas Avenue business district. So far I've tried the Pistachio Honey and Coffee with Chocolate Chunk and have ordered scoops of Nutter Butter and Brown Butter Pecan. The flavors have equally been tasty and satisfying. They offer sugar cones, cake cones, waffle cones, waffle bowls, cups, malts, milkshakes, sundaes and an ice cream flight if you're feeling indecisive. For 6 bucks you get to try 4 flavors. They also serve coffee and doughnuts for the early birds. Its already becoming a popular spot with the local families and you may wait a few minutes for service. But it's worth it! The shop is a short walk to and from Tower Park and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. read more

This newly opened ice cream spot is going to be perfect for the families coming from the nearby Tower Park and need some cool refreshment. The ice cream selection is diverse and they even have shakes and malts. There are about 8 or so tables for people to sit. The service was fine and we had no issues sampling the flavors to find the right one. I had the Cookie Monster, a cookies and cream (possibly some cookie dough too) meets blueberry concoction that tasted nothing like an actual cookie monster, since there was no blue fur involved. Parking is street only and is at times a bit lacking. There are a few side streets where parking should be available. Of course be on the lookout for kids that may dart out into traffic since this place will have lots in kid traffic. read more

We are so happy to have a kid friendly business in town. This is exactly the type of business Fort Thomas needs. My son had Mint chocolate chip (no green stuff added!) with M&Ms in a waffle bowl and my daughter had Chocolate with M&Ms in a waffle bowl. They both loved every bite. Our total was $8.00 which included a can of pop. The shop is super cute and the service was great. It was very busy when we went in directly after school. I was happy to see that they sold donuts & coffee as well. We ride our bikes a lot in the summer & this will be a perfect place to stop along the way. They also sell gift cards. I really hope they stick around and become a staple in our community. read more

As a recommendation from a man at Ft. Thomas Florist, my daughters and I were told to visit Fort Thomas Ice Cream for some awesome ice cream...BOY was he correct! The parlor is so bright and airy, for starters. We were absolutely overwhelmed with the amount of unique and fresh ice creams. I ordered one of the fresh fruit strawberry popsicles. They're only $2. It was super refreshing, and you could taste the real fruit. One of my daughters ordered a cup of strawberry ice cream. OMG is all I can say. It has got to be the best I've ever tasted! You could tell that it was made with fresh strawberries and real cream. My other daughter ordered the Cookie Monster. She LOVED it. I didn't get to taste it but, the amount of cookies in it was unreal. It was loaded. There were so many great looking flavors, it was hard to decide on one. They also have special flavors they make on a rotating basis. I'll definitely be bringing my husband and other 2 daughters to try them. I HIGHLY recommend a visit! Plus, it's owned by a local family. Such a cute little ice cream shop! I love the exposed brick and the color scheme inside - mint, pink, yellow. Our daughter just had her 10th Birthday Party in the back room there and it was perfect! She had around 9 girls at the party and a few adults and it was very roomy. The girls were able to get the ice cream of their choice and then did some crafts that we brought. We had the shop basically to ourselves due to it being the holiday season but I see that as being a huge benefit to having a December birthday party at an ice cream shop Everyone loved the ice cream choices, including the adults. The "cake eater" ice cream was especially a hit, as well as the bacon ice cream. I personally loved my salted caramel shake! I highly recommend Fort Thomas Ice Cream for evenings after dinner or birthday parties. We love being able to support a local business and it is even better when the ice cream tastes so good! Quality has definitely gone down hill over the last few months. Staff seems annoyed that you're interrupting them texting, ice cream flavors are vanilla with crumbs of whatever ingredient they say they are supposed to have. Really sad, because we use to love coming here, but for $13.50 I can get vanilla ice cream from somewhere else. read more

This is a new ice cream shop near the Tower Park and they sell various desserty ice cream flavors. They have your usual selections of the vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and some interesting ones like honey pistachio and cookie monster. They let you sample the flavors, and for $6 you get 4 flavors in your cup. I think that's a great deal to figure out which you like best (mine is pistachio honey ;) ). I think the texture is a little creamier than Graeters, but still good, as I prefer more custard-y ice creams. The line moves quickly, the shop is well staffed, the interior has a simple, modern, minimalist design that is aesthetically pleasing, the ice cream is delicious.. the only downside is that since it's in the busy part of the area, you have to park on the streets. Finally a good locally made ice cream shop in Ft Thomas. I love the pistachio honey, very refreshing. The caramelized banana is another winner. The flavors I've tried aren't so sweet that you lose the taste of the fruit, one of my favorite things about this place. Also the scoops are generous for the price. The mint chocolate chip is the only flavor I've tried that, for me, could use a little more umph, a tad more mint would be nice. The decor is cute and the service is friendly. If you can't decide on your flavor, they offer a flight of 4 or 5? flavors in smaller tasting cups. The best option for indecisive ice cream eaters everywhere. read more
