The amount of times I've driven across the river to get Golden Gelato is laughable at this point. They are always friendly and will let you try a couple samples. The flavors are great and love the new flavors weekly to sprinkle in with the staples. The texture is so smooth! My son and his friends enjoy outings to Covington. After taking me out for a Mother's Day Brunch, we walked about a block away because he thought I would really enjoy the gelato at Golden Gelato. It was a quaint shop with all of these wonderful flavors. Truly, it's hard to decide. I sampled two flavors and got a medium-sized container with a scoop of Biscoff and a scoop of Pistachio. They are two of my favorites and they did not disappoint. The Biscoff gelato is smooth and creamy with a light cookie flavor. You get a bit of cinnamon and caramel, like the taste of a Biscoff cookie. Pistachio Gelato was delicious. The pistachio flavor is soft and real--not fake or too strong. Although there are only about ten flavors of gelato/sorbet at a time, I hear that they rotate through flavors. So you'll have to come back at different times to enjoy them all (I see you marketing strategy )! I got the dark chocolate and stracciatella (basically chocolate chip). Very yummy and even though I got the smallest serving size, I was still able to pick two flavors. Also, using the little spoon helps to enjoy it longer!
