Cincinnatians rave about Graeters. So much so that they sucked me into trying it. And honestly, I'm glad I did. This place kinda reminds me of Kilwins. Maybe it's the lettering and how it's setup but without the chocolate pieces for sale. And it's as popular as Jeni's in Atlanta because of the amount of locations across the city and and how many ppl rave about it. Since we were close to this one, we had to end the night with a scoop. The crew I was with loves the black raspberry flavor and that was my first sample. Wasn't much of a fan so I tired the boldy bearcat flavor and still wasn't sold on Graeters until I tried the Buckeye blitz. For the record, me, chocolate and peanut butter go together real bad so of course that flavor was a winner for me. I got a single scoop on a waffle cone and was in ice cream heaven. I'd definitely want to try the bourbon ball flavor next time. It looks like butter pecan. Service was great btw. They were very patient for this first timer.

This is a very neat ice cream place located at the heart of Cincinnati. The peach flavored ice cream is a most!

What a great treat in the midst of this rain storm! The ice cream is so creamy!! The flavors are great I loved the Sorbet but the start to try here is the blackrasberry. It has chocolate with it and oh my my my. This signature Flavor is worth the stop! The store is so super cute but a bit small wh3n crowded. Not much sitting area. But great to run in and grab a treat

Greeter's was another stop on our Cincinnati food tour and it was so good!! There is a way they make this ice cream which results in a thick and creamy ice cream and some chunks of dark chocolate that really balances out the sweetness of the ice cream. The workers there were super friendly and the ambiance was spot on. We weren't there for long but if ever I am around another of these brands I will definitely be stopping in!!

Graeter's Ice Creams is a Cincinnati original and can be found in several locations across the city. It's family owned and operated. All their ice cream is made in small batches of 2 1/2 gallons. The resulting ice cream is thick, creamy and, of course, delicious. I went with the Chocolate Chocolate Chip. The chips are actually thinly swirled pieces of chocolate - so delicious.

Service was great, the young man was helpful in explaining what the most popular flavors were as well as providing samples of the different kinds of flavors. I got the vanilla flavor on the waffle cone and a strawberry shake. Recommend!

Wow. This ice cream is truly the best I've ever had, and that says a lot since I eat more ice cream than most, and travel for work all over the USA, so I try the ice cream everywhere I go! $4.75 for a single on a sugar cone. Next time, I'm definitely going for two scoops!! It was so good! Friendly staff. Quick service. The freezer was stocked with so many incredible flavors, pints and quarts, plus ice cream cakes, but alas I'm staying in a hotel so I don't have a freezer. I can't wait to return.

I've been hearing about Graeter's for years but this was my first time to Ohio so I knew I had to stop in! I LOVED it. I got two scoops in a cup, black Cherry chip (which I don't usually go for but knew it was their classic flavor) and boldly bearcat (a seasonal flavor with mascarpone, Oreo, and chocolate chips). So flavorful and such good texture. The chocolate in the ice cream was so tasty and I liked that it wasn't tiny chips but varied chunks, some very large!! My friend got black raspberry chip in a cone and also was obsessed with it. We liked it so much that we both got pints to go, even if it was our last night there. She got coconut chip and I got s'mores. Somehow they got the marshmallows to stay soft which I loved. I don't think they sell it in stores near where I live but I'll try to find it!!

Who doesn't love Graeter's ice cream? We moved to California seven years ago and this was our first time back. We had dinner in OTR and had to pick up a few pints for the next night's dinner. We also got chip wheelies for a quick fix. The place is small and was crowded. However, since most everyone was ordering their fix at the counter and what we were buying was all 'pre-made', we were able to get in, pay and eat out very quickly. Graeter's ice cream is the best; I don't care where the store is. This particular store was an easy walk after dinner, so super convenient.

While walking to Washington Park, I stopped in here to grab a small bowl of lemon sorbet. It was delicious and, while the line was long, it moved fast. The building was pretty packed and we had to stand pretty close to other customers in the small space. However, it's a convenient sweet treat if you are already in the area. I wouldn't recommend planning on sitting indoors, at least when we went on a Tuesday evening, since it is pretty hectic inside.

I'm honestly not an ice cream guy but this place was suggested to me so I had to try it.. the guy working there was honestly great.. he let me try different flavors and we found one Tay I fell in love with. The ice cream was so good, it just melted in your mouth.. loved the experience and the clean welcoming environment as well.. i can't wait to return !

Graeter's is the best ice cream, hands down. If you are visiting from out of town (depending on where you are staying), this may be the closest Graeter's since it's the one closest to the hip/trendy area of Over-the-Rhine. Graeter's are all over the Cincy area and I pretty much grew up on it because my grandparents live in Fairfield. Graeter's has been around for 150 years, so really, I shouldn't have to explain how good it is given they've got to be one the oldest scoop shops in the country. They are known for their MASSIVE chocolate chips and for their Black Raspberry Chip ice cream (a must try). My personal favorites are Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Double Chocolate Chip, Buckeye Blitz, Peanut Butter Chip, and Banana Chip (seasonal)-- the latter two using milk chocolate instead of their traditional dark chocolate. I actually live in Arizona now and I am SO BLESSED that our local grocery store (Fry's) is owned by Kroger and they have 7 flavors of Graeter's to purchase. Even if they didn't have that, I'd spend the money to get Graeter's shipped to me across the country. It's just that good and it will forever be my fave. So glad I made it to this downtown location on my most recent trip to Cincy!

It's one thing to close early, but to post a handwritten sign calling the event "stupid" was shockingly unprofessional. It's figuratively and literally more than a bike race, it's a fundraiser that supports cancer research and survivorship through the CancerFree KIDS Pediatric Cancer Research Alliance. It brings thousands of people together for a cause that matters deeply, while also creating one of the most electric, family-friendly atmospheres you'll find in Cincinnati. From a business perspective, this was a massive missed opportunity. The streets were filled with people eager to support local shops and enjoy the events which is exactly the kind of audience any small business would hope for. Instead of welcoming that energy, Patty's turned it away and insulted the very people walking by their storefront. I love supporting small, local businesses, but this kind of response shows a disconnect from the community that makes Hyde Park special. I hope they reconsider how they respond to events like this in the future.

The staff is welcoming and is generous with the tastings: four of us tried around ten flavors in all! It was a hot day, so this was our last stop by the market, so it would not melt on the way home. We got some bold Rüya dark 65% chocolate, flavored with Turkish espresso, with a touch of traditional cardamom expressing welcome. The cardamom flavoring is milder in this chocolate than it is in mideast coffee. That works for us. We got two with mild bourbon flavors: the somewhat-sweet Prohibition, and the lightly-orange seasonally-available Old Fashioned (reminiscent of the cocktail). We also got some seasonal slightly-fruity limited-edition Thailand 70% chocolate, one of our favorites. And we grabbed an assortment of lighter and darker sweet creams and truffles. We used to watch the bean-grinder in action here. Last year moved it to a new factory on the Licking River across the river in Lexington KY, a town where they also opened a second retail location in 2024 that includes gelato! The aroma here is lovely and chocolatey and roasty. The chocolate is divine.

I told her I was traveling quite a distance and was concerned they would not make it. She said they would be fine and put them in a plastic bag. She could've offered the next size up in box! And indeed they did not make it. Hate I wasted money on these.
