Definitely a hot spot on a Friday night, whether it was high school/ college aged students/ couples/ friends, young families or old farts, people kept coming! After dinner, I HAD to have ice cream here!! Kept it simple: vanilla soft serve ( one of THE BEST I've had) with Reese's pieces in a regular cake cone-- and it was a lot of ice cream. YUMMY!! Short & sweet review to say that you really don't want to miss out on this adorable ice cream shop in historic Burlington! My fiancé and I stopped by for a quick scoop of ice cream on a weeknight, and it was truly magical. I noted that they rotate their flavors weekly, and it looks like you can check out what they're offering on their Facebook page before you pop in. It looks like they also have food truck pop-ups around NKY, which we will definitely be scoping out this summer. We both ordered sundaes - I went with the turtle, and he went with their version of worms in dirt. We practically inhaled them in the car ... our only complaint was that the ice cream to toppings ratio was just a bit off. That said, we figured we'd just ask for a bit more hot fudge next time! Definitely stop by Dreamy Whip the next time you're in Burlington ... and if you've never been down to Burlington, I promise it's worth the drive! read more

We've hosted the Dreamy Whip truck at our house twice and it was a great experience both times. The owners are attentive and communicative, and the staff on-site were very nice. The neighbors loved it!! We recently got to stop by the store in-person as well and we loved all the flavors and options. The ice cream is delicious and I recommend supporting this small, but growing, business. I also want to thank the owners for supporting the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky. I had been meaning to go here and kept not getting around to it...ummm that was a big mistake because it's delicious! So good, in fact, I've now made it there a total of 4 times since early August. It's ice cream so there's not a lot to tell, you probably already love it and need to try theirs! They have the basic soft serve chocolate, vanilla and swirl option but then they also have weekly rotating flavors plus your favorite ice cream toppings. I've mostly tried different floats but did get just regular chocolate ice cream the last time I went and have no complaints. We just went here for the first time tonight with our family and live in Fort Mitchell Ky but actually traveled to Florence | Burlington, KY to find this place. I feel like it was totally worth it. What a jewel! They had kind attentive, service, there was a young lady who went above and beyond for us. The ice cream was absolutely delicious! I really want to go back and try all the flavors! Lol The atmosphere was great. It also looked like they had some great coffee selections as well. Amazing!!!!!! Me and my family live 4 minutes away and whenever we need a good quick bite we hop in the car and go straight to Dreamy Whip. There is never a decision on where to go... it will always be Dreamy Whip. They have basic options with exciting toppings .I always get a vanilla shake with cookie dough plus whip cream and cherry. The workers never get it wrong. My dad also stops at Dreamy Bean ( Dreamy Whips coffee shop in the morning) and he is always pleased and very very happy. The workers are very sweet and care about the customers. The overall environment is amazing!! They have a kids table with crayons, coloring pages and a toy ice cream set for the kids. Oh, we are always giving Dreamy Whip our money! We LOVE it. It's like classic soft serve, but with so much more options. We started out often frequenting their food truck, which travels to various locations (you can find their schedule on their Facebook page), but then they just recently opened a storefront, which we've started frequenting as well. The storefront is super cute with a big ice cream sign on the outside and a countertop made of bottle-caps. They have several outdoor tables and there's also a park a minute away with benches. They have a full menu there, including specials and any kind of soda float you could want. My husband's favorite is their Oreo blast and I love the fruit flavors, especially the orange dreamsicle and the various flavors of dole whip they rotate between. We also feel that they are very reasonably priced. This place definitely has that old-fashioned ice cream shop feel! We really love it! read more
