    Swirl Sprinkle Cone

A visit to Fillmore's is like stepping back in time. This Florence favorite is straight out of a different decade - but it's managed to remain popular, and was packed when my husband and I visited on a Sunday evening for some soft serve. There's plenty of parking available, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. This small town staple is right near the new Bark Park & Patio, and I'm sure it would make for some tasty takeout if you'd like to bring your pups. Although they boast several fun ice cream flavors and dips, we stuck with the classics. I ordered a swirl cone with sprinkles, and my husband opted for a hot fudge sundae. Both were simply delicious - and ensured we would return again, possibly for some of their other diner-style food offerings.

The BEST Peanut Butter Malt you'll ever have in your life!

The ABSOLUTE BEST Peanut Butter Malt you'll ever have! Made with real peanut butter, so thick you have to eat it with a spoon! I always order mine with extra peanut butter and extra thick! The food is always spot on as well! Great burgers, footlong chili dogs, crinkle fries, soups and sandwiches! I've been coming here ever since I was a little girl back when it was called Reeve's. If you haven't been here you're seriously missing out on some deliciousness!

On a hot day this was the perfect treat especially with a waffle cone. There were so many flavors to choose from and I couldn't decide and went with vanilla and it was so good!! I can't wait to go back to try more flavors!!

Great old school dairy bar. Really good hot food. Typical dairy bar offerings, but done really well. The service is quick and friendly. Great family atmosphere. Definitely recommend checking them out!

    A footlong chili dog.

Well now I got to eat a proper meal here instead of just dessert and I was definitely not disappointed. I got a footlong chili dog which is a staple of most ice cream parlour/restaurants. This version was a pretty good one. I've had better hot dog chili but the dog was a good one and I really liked the sharp cheddar they used for the cheese to top it. I also got some onion rings which I swear were the same as Frisch's. That's fine though as I like Frisch's onion rings. Good batter and strong onions. Perfect with ketchup for me. For dessert this time I got a Cherry Slush Puppy. This was a great version of this dessert as it had great cherry flavour and plenty of syrup which is sometimes a problem with this sort of thing. Perfect on a hot summer day. It should be said my wife loved her banana split also. A great dinner here.

I was craving soft serve but this NKY staple missed the mark. The ice cream was icey, and more like custard. I'll stick to Dairy Queen!

You've got everything from burgers and loaded fries to sushi rolls, which sounds like an odd combo but somehow works perfectly. The vibe is casual and upbeat, with TVs around for games and a lively crowd most nights. It's the kind of place where you can go with kids, meet friends for drinks, or just grab a quick dinner without feeling rushed. Food-wise, the burgers are consistently good juicy, flavorful, and actually cooked right. The sushi is surprisingly fresh for a non-traditional sushi spot, I love the surf and turf roll, me and my husband get it everytime, and it's a fun option if you want to mix things up. The appetizers are definitely worth it too, especially if you're sharing.

The salad is plenty big enough to fill you at lunch. It comes in a bowl with greens,, roasted chicken, pepper jack cheese (my favorite), roasted sunflower seeds, chips and more. The only change I made was I wasn't crazy about mustard Dijon dressing, so I went with the poppyseed dressing. The poppyseed dressing was outstanding. To this luncheon off I had what was probably the best sweet tea I've ever had. There is seat available both inside and outside. The staff is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean. PS. My colleague suggested i tried his fish. That was absolutely outstanding. It's one of those things you try and say to yourself, I wish I got that.

The restaurant was clean and modern and had a great menu selection. The kids meals are $8 and come with a drink and side. I liked that they were really food just kids size versions. We had the sliders and chicken and waffles. On the adult menu we tried the cod dinner, hot honey chicken sandwich and pretzels and beer cheese. They also had a great selection of desserts.

It is located in a Kroger strip mall area but is slightly higher class than what one might think when they hear that. It was a weird off-peak time so it was no issue getting seated right away and service was pretty good. We started our late lunch and our vacation with a cocktail, both of which were pretty tasty! I wanted to make sure I got some veggies in me before a week+ of vacation eating, so I got a side salad, which was pretty ample for a side! I also got the mushroom ricotta dip appetizer as a "meal" and it was pretty delicious! Cheese, mushrooms and carbs...you can't go wrong with that in my opinion! We had an okay time, and we were able to dawdle and not be rushed. It wasn't our first choice on the day and likely wouldn't be at another time, but it was more than decent as a secondary/back-up choice for a place to eat.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. We arrived at the restaurant and the young lady working was pleasant and friendly. We asked her what her favorites were and she said everything was good, some days she has the fish and others the chicken. She provided an extensive menu for our review. We took the menu and perused, decided to do one fish (cod) and one chicken tender meals with zucchini sticks. When the meals arrived the chicken looked good, the fish looked not so good. The cod was an off color best described as gray and was irregularly shaped ( looked more like perch). The fish was more breading and a bit greasy, definitely a fishy taste. The zucchini sticks were breading and mush ) very watery. The chicken was moist however the breading sloughed off when cutting and it had an off taste. The only things edible without comment were the fries and coleslaw. My wife and I both only consumed small bites of the food and decided it was not worth risking... should have followed our instincts and went elsewhere immediately. The menu is too extensive to be able to provide quality entrees. We stopped on the way home and picked up a pizza for lunch. Very disappointed, Mike's will not be on our list in the future.
