I'll start off by saying the burger was very very good. I also had ordered the onion rings and they tasted pretty good as well. I could tell the burger was 100% fresh and cooked to the temperature that I asked for. I'm not sure if the onion rings were fresh or not, but they were still good. The reason for the three stars is because the service at the bar was absolutely shit. The server seemed to cater more towards five extremely obnoxious, loud, drunk guys versus other people that were around them. There were several times a bartender would say they would get with me when they notice that I was ready to order and get a drink, but then they never came. The restaurant theme itself is very cool and unique. Overall, I will come back more than likely, but if I have another experience with that same type of service, then I will be done. read more

We were in the area, taking care of some business and had heard of this place before from a different location. However, we had yet to try there. We went for a late lunch early dinner. We were probably seated. Our server was extremely sweet and helpful with recommendations. They have an extremely large selection of different types of beer. You can get samples as well. We opted for the kettle chip nacho Thai appetizer and it was delicious. The chips were fresh. They weren't overly crunchy. There was tons of toppings on them 10 out of 10 recommend Remind me, I opted for the bison burger. The bacon jam was a little bit of a weird other than that. It was really good. It was cooked perfectly. Lots of toppings and the fries were well seasoned and fried perfectly. Hubby opted for the burger with peanut butter on it as he can never say no to a good peanut butter burger. It had lots of flavor was juicy cooked perfectly and for his side, he chose the sweet potato tater tots, which comes with caramel dipping sauce, and those were hands-down, the best sweet potato tots either one of us have ever had absolutely love this place and the Ford nostalgia decor. Had an awesome burger here with great customer service from Abby to match. I got a Black & Blue burger which was packed with flavor in every bite. I could taste the blackened seasoning on the burger and the tang from the blue cheese crumble was just phenomenal. It has been quite some time since I've been as I usually go to the Southwest Florida location and the fries.... Ughhhhhhhh THE BEST. I love the pepper on the fries. I can't wait to come back! Place is a complete novelty that's full of cool stuff like benches made from old ford truck tailgates, engines rotating in the dining area, servers wearing mechanic shirts. Friendly staff, tons of seating and lots of displays. If you're a Ford and/or car fan, you'll enjoy this place. Everything is themed including the staffs' clothing and down to the napkins. I don't realize they were meant to be like mechanic's towel, so I asked for paper napkins thinking it was a rag. The server had to explain it was part of the theme. I had a good laugh about that! Fords garage has the best food and ambiance! As they say they are known for their 3 B's, burgers, beer and bathrooms. Bathrooms may sound strange but everything is themed in model T Ford cars and cars parts. Even the handles of the doors walking in are gas pump handles! The bathrooms have sinks within tires and you have to turn on the pump to get the water to wash your hands. It's all very cool. The bar is very neat too. They have a model T that hangs above the bar and you can honk its horn and smoke pumps out the back. The other cool part of the bar is their very large on draft list and the bar itself has a cold strip to keep you glass ice cold. Now the food is so good. They have delicious burgers, salads and a dish I especially love called the chicken Henry if you are looking for something a little less heavy. The pretzel app is delicious and onion rings come out on a fuel funnel. I'd highly recommend checking out fords! read more

Came here for a late lunch. Riley, our server, was fantastic. She was personable, friendly and very attentive, and very helpful with our selections. We ordered the seared ahi for our appetizer and I had Henry's chicken, a delicious blend of sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, basal and a Chardonnay lemon butter sauce. It was delicious, and had two pieces of chicken breast. For my sides I chose steamed broccoli and the sweet potato tots which were also amazing. In fact I could have eaten only the sides and been fully satisfied. The tots were also much better than at another location. My husband had the fish and chips which was very light and huge. The accompanying fries were crispy and filling. Not to sound like a paid customer, which I'm not, each visit to this chain ( 3rd visit to three different locations), it keeps getting better and this was the best. Thanks Riley! read more

My husband and I stopped at Ford's Garage for lunch on May 21, 2026. This was our second visit to this restaurant, and it was not as impressive as our first. We both ordered hamburgers with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and pickles--no cheese, no onion. When our food arrived the first time, both burgers contained cheese. The server took them back, and after a long wait, we received our food. This time the burgers had no mayonnaise, so we waited still longer for our waitress to bring us some. Once the burgers were correct, my husband and I both thought they were pretty good. The fries that were served with our sandwiches, however, had too much salt and pepper so we didn't eat many of them. The decor made up for what was lacking with the food. My husband and I enjoyed seeing the old cars, the signs, and the bathroom (made out of tires). We would probably give this restaurant another try and hope that it was a little less busy the next time around. read more

Ford's Garage continues to be a great and unique restaurant in Florence. As I've mentioned in the past they have a huge menu of unique items that has a slight focus on burgers. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip made with Philadelphia cream cheese, shredded chicken, and topped with diced celery. It was served with tortilla chips. It was really tasty and we really enjoyed it. I went with a burger called the "Carly Pearce" which came with a big ole juicy burger topped with sharp cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon. Bourbon bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I left the latter 3 off my sandwich. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium for me) and I loved the bacon and bbq sauce. I do wish they had put more bbq sauce on it as I really liked it but there was barely any on there. A minor quibble because it was still pretty good. The plate came with fries which were above average. The service has been top notch every time we've been here and was this time as well. The restaurant has all the great Ford car decor all over the restaurant and makes the experience fun. Ford's Garage definitely is a winner and we'll definitely be back. read more

Poor service and ineffective management. We were a large table seated by a clean up station. Two servers hung out at the clean up station spent a lot of time on their phones with personal calls and texts. One of the servers knocked a full water over on the table. Funny the two at the clean up station did not help clean up . Lots of water. A little later they dropped a full ranch dressing on the floor next to us. It sprayed our legs , our shoes. Left a big grease stain on my Aunts pant leg. 4 people at our table were sprayed. Waiter brought over the manager. We cleaned up our legs clothing and feet . I always love introducing friends to Ford's Garage as I'm a huge fan. I was traveling with a group of 6 ladies recently and they all loved everything about the restaurant. The service, the food in the ambience are all top notch. I always order the Henry's Chicken and have never been disappointed. The tables are a bit small and the tall barrier walls throughout the restaurant do not allow you to see the entire restaurant. Cool space, of Nostalgic Americana and a blast back to the Model A and Model T garage theme is all throughout the place. Great food and lots to choose from and enjoy. This is a great place for this Ford woman! Our second visit, despite being two hours away from our home. Love the food, atmosphere, and staff. Everyone is pleasant. Food is marvelous and imaginative. Love the decor! I had a Berries and Gorgonzola with Shrimp salad. AMAZING!! It also had blueberries, dried cranberries, candied walnuts and a fantastic strawberry vinegarette dressing. My husband had the Jiffy burger. It hadAmerican Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Lettuce, and Creamy Peanut Butter on a Brioche Bun. He excluded the lettuce. It was spectacular. I am not a fan of cheeseburgers (hamburgers yes, cheeseburgers no) anyway, for me the peanut butter overpowered the cheese, so I couldn't taste it. But, I could taste everything else on that burger and I was so impressed. Our daughter had the Mushroom and Swiss burger. The salmon is definitely one of the best I've ever had (easy top 3 out of the 15+ that I've had). The momentum was amazing, the shrimp was insane, with the perfect amount of spice. Then the salmon. Because this place is as top notch as top notch gets. I am gonna go ahead and say everything on the spacious, gigantic menu of gods is as breathtakingly interminably tasteful as this. I am not familiar with this chain, so was excited to give it a shot when home to see my family. It was just OK. The burger was actually pretty good. I didn't care for the onion rings or fries (both tasted like they may have been fried in not fresh oil). The appetizer buffalo chicken dip wasn't bad, but the chips served alongside were absolutely terrible. They were so stale and actually painful to attempt to chew. We were surprised they would bring these things to a table - definitely need to be thrown away and start over with what is offered alongside the dip.
