This place is my go-to whenever I want something out of the ordinary, and if im in the area I stop by either way just to take a look around what's new (I always come out with something). They have pretty much anything you are looking for and if they don't they can probably find it for you. To give you an example, my wife and I went to Venice, Italy a few years ago and she fell in love with a wine she tried there, Party town didn't had it, I asked one of the employees if they knew about it and lucky enough the man remembered seeing it before so he asked for my info and asked to give him some time, in a few days he called... he found the distributer who used to bring it, asked me how many I wanted, thinking this may be my one and only chance to find them I asked them for a box and they got it for me. A few months later the wine is in stock on shelf and has been since then. Heck! If that's not quality customer service I don't know what is. read more

this place was terrible. An absolute joke. I ordered balloons for my daughter's party the night before... the guy who took the order didn't ask for me to pay for them, they didn't even have the order when I came in. Sadly, the manager was just a terrible as the store. Had a shit. attitude. Spent over 200 bucks there, they just left the balloons in the corner and the weights in a bag; so we lost a few on the way out. Not one apology. A place to find all your alcohol and more. I came here to stock up on my wine and non alcoholic beer. There's plenty to choose from, I like the way the store categorized the wine by country, alcoholics drinks by type, beer by types and place of origin. The place was busy when we were there, plenty of staff to help costumers, but does not seemed to be too serious about imposing the social distancing, staff were not wearing any mask or gloves. Partytown is a complete joke now. Selling their allocated bourbon well over secondary prices and for some 14 times MSRP. they are selling a 100 dollar msrp bottle for 1500 in a basket with a 80 dollar bottle. they do this so their Buffalo Trace rep cannot see how much they are marking up the bottle. This place is an absolute scam. This store used to be great and now the owners who price everything are a joke. do not shop here. read more

Met up with friend for Baker Bird wine tasting on Saturday afternoon. The wine tasting is great value $5 for generous pours of their wine and Baker Bird now has their first batch of Kentucky Bourbon, which they were also giving a sample during the tasting. Dinah the owner of Baker Bird was signing the bottles of first batch bourbon. Party Town team was friendly, after the wine tasting then checked out the beers on tap, enjoyed two samples of Florence, KY craft beer and then made my selection. They have wide variety of bourbon, wine, craft beer and party decorations right of the Turfway exit off 71/75 in Florence, Ky stop by when you're in the area for good wine, beer and liquor selection. read more

Growing up in Florence, it was easy to take Party Town for granted. But now I'm older and wiser ... and drink more ... and have come to the conclusion that Party Town is a great stop for all your spirits needs. Party Town has a great selection of beer especially, including many bottles that are refrigerated and ready to enjoy right when you get home. It also has a large bourbon and wine selection. But Party Town is not only limited to drinks. This is "Party Town," not "Alcohol Town," after all. It was several aisles of party supplies, ranging from birthdays to barbecues to holidays and more. I picked up some great Derby decorations a few years ago. I've also heard about their great in-store events. I hope to be in town one day to be able to catch one of these. The only area of improvement that I can think of is that I wish there were more staff in the store. During my last few visits, I've had difficulty finding a staff person to help me find what I was looking for. Florence is lucky to have Party Town! read more

Party Town is probably often overlooked because of Party Source, but should not be forgotten. Although they are smaller, they are mighty with a great selection of beer and liquor, and educated employees. Besides all of the natural things you would expect from a liquor store Party Town is also the home of microbrewery Mash Cult who is seriously serving some sweet, sweet suds. I recently had their Vanilla Strawberry Lactose Milk Shake Pale Ale, Brain Games (seriously, with a descriptor that long) which was unexpectedly tasty. The real gem of it all is Friday Night Flights. It's only $5 for tasters and a 9 oz. pour of your favorite beverage, and every week they feature different breweries from the US. Not only are you getting lots of tasters for $5, but usually the selection includes rare and hard to find beers that make it more than worth it. There is a solid community of interesting people who attend the events, and you will never leave without being surprised by some of the awesome stories you hear or connected to someone you weren't expecting to. Just be careful, sometimes you may need to take an Uber from the liquor store if you aren't careful. read more

There is something really beautiful happening at Party Town. The Friday night beer sampling event has manifested this incredible sense of community. You could tell that most of the people come there every Friday evening. The tasting room was filled with a full cast of characters from all walks of life (or at least as diverse as you could expect at a Northern Kentucky beer tasting). Everyone was beyond friendly, the phrase "southern hospitality" definitely came to mind. Party Town is the less-fancy cousin to The Party Source in Bellevue. Is the selection as big? Probably not. Are the people as friendly? Friendlier. Is it more expensive? I dunno, but on Friday nights....I know you couldn't find that kind of a deal at The Party Source. read more

We participated in their bi-annual wine/art event last night. They were kicking off the holidays and supporting local photographers. There were walls of art to peruse and great wines to sample. The employees and owner were all very friendly and helpful. The room was packed, but not so much that it was uncomfortable. It was nice. People just seemed happy. Around the holidays, this is a good thing. We look forward to the next wine/art event...in the meantime, you'll find us at the weekend wine tastings. It's great to try before you buy. read more

Let's call this place Party Source South. It's just like the one you'd find in Newport, but better customer service. Walking in, this warehouse of booze winds around in a labyrinth similar to its northern cousin. You'll find a large beer selection, an even larger wine selection, and identical knickknacks and party favors as at Party Source. Beer is lined along the back wall both on the shelf and in coolers; wine aisles are in the front. I was on a quest for a specific ale when a clerk noticed me wandering the aisle and asked if he could help. He took me right to the endcap of Schalflys Pumpkin Ale, a brew which I hadn't been able to find elsewhere within a 50 mile radius of Cincinnati. As the clerk walked away and I gathered my six packs, I muttered audibly, "I should've gotten a cart..." From around the corner, a second clerk pops out, suggests I get a case of Pumpkin Ale for easy transport and delicious, delicious cost savings. He even offered to carry the case to the register for me. Excellent product knowledge, superior customer service, and the largest selection in the tri-state makes Party Town worth the drive from Cincinnati. read more

I found this place based off of reviews and wasn't quite sure what to expect. It's in a strip mall that has seen better days, and the place itself must have been a supermarket before. Which is good because they have ample space to pack in all of the liquor. There is a lot of booze here, and given the location I didn't know what to expect. I stand in awe of whoever does procurement here, they've got a hell of a selection. There are 2-3 full supermarket aisles full of beer, plus the wall cooler. Several more aisles of liquor, etc. The place is huge. They have beers here that I have scoured larger cities for and never found, yet here in northern Kentucky there was a shelf full of it. Score. There's also a 5% discount if you buy a case-worth (or in my instance, close to a case worth). The "build your own growler" concept also was cool although I didn't partake, but the kegs are prominently located right near the checkout. read more

The outside of the store might not be super attractive, but the inside is clean and organized. I thought this store was going to be a party supply store. I didn't realize they had a pretty good size selection of wine, beer, rum, vodka, gin, you name it. The prices are pretty reasonable...they have sales each week on certain products. I didn't find Great Lakes Christmas ale there. :( I was slightly disappointed, but it's hard to find Ohio beer in KY. I used to live across the street from Party Town and I still shop there even now that I live an hour away. They have a great selection of party supplies for all types of parties. They have a vast liquor collection. I went in tonight shopping for New Year's supplies and was not disappointed. My husband doesn't drink and I found this great sparkling pomegranate limeade that will be perfect for his new year. My husband has used their services more than once to quickly get me a bunch of balloons as a surprise. Service is pleasant and fast. read more

Having moved to the area about two years ago, I have found and frequented Party Town in Florence, Kentucky. They carry one of the largest selections of beer, liquor, and wines I have shopped in a liquor store. My score may seem harsh to some, but size and selection are not my only criteria for rating a business. To fill a store this size, it is located in what appears to be an old super market, Party Town has haphazardly included; a balloon shop, a walk-in humidor, a decoration-gift area, a small area with soda/chips/ hors d'oeuvres, along with a small DIY brewing selection. These seem to be included as a way to take up square footage, instead of being useful. For mixers, sodas, chips and the like, a full on grocer will get the job done faster and cheaper. I am not much of a balloon guy when I am drinking, so Party Town may be killing it if you are in need of balloons? Like many of the other reviewers, I agree that the employees are very nice and try very hard to be helpful. My two biggest issues are the cleanliness of the store and the freshness of the bottled beer. The store is dark and dingy, the decor is mid-century Big Lots with a hording issue. Every time I go to Party Town, my fiancee loves to point out all the bottled beer that is expired, as we browse the aisles. It appears that they do not have the staffing to operate and maintain such a large store with a so much stock. Combine that with buying too many brands of beer and not moving it fast enough, and spoiled beer becomes an issue when purchasing small brands and imports. Recently I purchased a 12 pack of Hofbräu. I was mildly impressed they had it. First sip and I knew that it was total junk. Bummed me out exactly 16 bucks worth. It was bought for my fiancee, who is from Bavaria, for Octoberfest. She was not impressed with me or the beer. This week we bought some Warsteiner, we checked the expiration date, 02/2013. Guess what, totally skunked. You could smell how bad it was before tasting it. One sip and I was done but she went for it. After one good sized swig-cough-choke it gave her goose bumps. We figure if we save the bottles and take them back to Michigan we can salvage a $1.20 out of this waste of money. If you are looking for that hard to find or favorite liquor from home, then Party Town just may be your place. If you like to buy imported beer then I would recommend finding a high volume retailer that carries your brand and spending your money there. This is an unbelievably good value, largely because you can taste up to 6 of them before you decide. You can also just get a pint or a get a full gallon. It really is a beer lover's paradise, especially if hanging out at bars isn't your thing. Add to that party supplies, a great selection of beer, wine and cigars and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Party Source is cool, but this place has the edge in my book. read more

Trish did not acknowledge me once during the transaction just continued with her private conversation. No eye contact. I said thank you and still no acknowledgment. Need to work on customer service. And sometimes you can get lucky and be there when they are doing a wine tasting...i've went there to buy beer and left with a decent buzz on before i even started drinking! Refused to sell beer to my girlfriend, she has a traumatic brain injury from 2008. It left her disabled with slurred speech. She's currently on ssdi. Gave her money to get something to celebrate new years with our friends tonight. (Couldn't the other night). Just wondering what kind of training they have to be able to decide who to refuse service to. TIPS training, or their own program? So don't go here if you have any type of disability. This place is great for home brewing supplies. They have almost everything you need, except for a way to mill your grain. If they had a system set up for milling all the grain that they already have then they would be a force to be reckoned with in the Cincinnati home brewing scene. But, overall, their beer selection is the best in the whole tri-state and the growler station is always rotating and has tons of taps. read more

I would have to say this is my "home" liquor store. There are several places in town with growler station, but this is the best of the best with 18 taps to choose from and their Friday Night Flights beer tastings each week. At least half of the staff are home brewers so they know their beer. Single bottles and kegs are available. And if they don't have it, they'll try to find it for you. They also have wine tastings on the weekends. It's lots of fun browsing their gourmet food section too. read more

I looked all over northern Kentucky, and this was the only place I could find that carries Marmite. Good selection of brewing equipment as well as all the beer, liquor, and wine you can handle. They also carry specialty hot sauces, such as Dave's Insanity Sauce and Blair's reserve sauces. read more
