My sister-in-law, and I along with my niece had lunch today at the blind squirrel. It was the first time that I've been there, but my sister-in-law and niece had been there.before I had a cheeseburger and their onion rings. My sister-in-law had a salad and my niece had a cheese fries. It was all very good the amount of cheese fries that my niece got was unbelievable. They gave her enough for three people. The ambience was neat. They had a bandstand at one end of the room. They have TVs to watch your favorite sporting event. I would like to go back again. Nice sports bar with a great atmosphere for watching games and enjoying live music. Although it wasn't very crowded during my visit, my food still took quite a while about 45 minutes for just a burger and an order of mozzarella bites. Giving this place a 4.5 rating for lunch. We split a Club sandwich with bacon and 2 sides. One side was mac and cheese, and the other side was onion rings. The sandwich was plenty for 2 people and the sides were very tasty. Loved the open air feel and would love to watch a ball game here. We were just passing thru Florence KY and stopped here for lunch. Blind Squirrel was a delightful bar/grill place we recently found in Florence Kentucky. They had the bar food that you would expect as well as a bunch of burgers as well as pizzas as well. I tried the Louie's Cheese Pizza which was a very thin crust pizza with a very good amount of cheese on it. The cheese was excellent and their sauce was pretty good. Even as a big fan of thin crust pizza this one was almost too thin and kind of cardboard like. I was able to fold it like New Yorkers like to do as it very close to like a Totino's pizza crust. A good pizza but could've been a bit better in my opinion. I also tried some boneless wings with Buffalo sauce. The chicken was a really good size, perfectly cooked, and had an extremely tasty Buffalo sauce. Not overly spicy but very flavourful. My wife very much enjoyed her salad as well so yay for that. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very cleand and very snazzy looking. This was a really nice lunch and I look forward to coming back. read more

We had a good experience. Great inside space & A lot of TVs. There's plenty of food options to choose from. I loved that they had a mock-tail menu. I got the blackberry mock-tail & it was a little too sweet & sour for my liking but they had a lot of other good options. They also had a wide variety of draft beer. We got the Beef Nachos for the appetizer & it was piled high. They were really good. My strawberry salad was so good. I added grilled chicken & requested Romaine only instead of the greens. The only thing I would recommend is asking for the dressing on the side. My husband got the chicken tenders. They were your basic standard tenders but he loved the twister fries. Our friend got the fish tacos blackened and loved them. They looked really good too. Oh, the Brussel sprouts were good but a little too big for our personal preference. Good flavor. We have been coming here weekly for months. I have surfed the menu and liked just about everything I've had. The monthly drink specials are fun! There is one server that has forgotten our appetizer three visits in a row so that's annoying- but we never have room by the end regardless! Rumpke Mountain nachos with beef are kick ass! The restaurant is always clean, and if you like the louder popping/drink and social vibe, Friday and Saturday nights are for you- just don't be in any kind of hurry for food/cocktails on these nights. The games are always on. Week nights are chill and you do get much better service. They recently changed there menus a few weeks ago and it seems they really put a lot of thought into it. I'll be honest, the name "Blind Squirrel" made me chuckle, and the reviews indicated this place was pretty good, so we tried it out. We had 5 people in our group. All our dishes were excellent except the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It needed some sauce or something because it was very dry. However, everything else was exceptional. I got the fish tacos, blackened - excellent. My wife wound up eating them, and I inherited her dry Chicken cordon bleu. The Philly was phenomenal. The chicken wings were an absolute hit. They were cooked perfectly. My daughter got the fish and chips. It was good, but the batter on the fish looked a little more like just Southern fried fish. She finished the entire thing, so there were no complaints. We didn't order appetizers, but the tables next to us did, and they looked so good we wished we had just ordered all of them and split them around the table. Our waiter was fun, although super busy. It took a while to get him back around to our table, but he was running all over the place. TVs are everywhere. They had live music, which usually means the music is incredibly loud, but they had it turned down enough that you could hear the music, but still have a conversation at the table. Overall, this place was a fun date night location or a great place to meet friends. If I lived in Florence, I'd have this place on my list of favorite restaurants to visit regularly. read more

This place is the product of a bar restaurant having a baby with a coffee shop! You have the full bar, great restaurant food, there are sofas to lounge on, live music, and just a fantastic atmosphere. Honestly, this is going to turn into one of my favorite spots to go. I came here at the recommendation of a friend and have no regrets. Great food, good beer selections, accommodating staff, and clean facility. I had a cauliflower pizza with pepperoni and had to ask the waitress if it was really cauliflower!? It was so good, and I literally had to go back for another. I can't review the food because we never got to order. We were seated by the host and after 10 minutes of having a variety of servers pass our table with no acknowledgement...we left. They weren't that busy so I don't understand why we were never approached. It's too bad because this place looked really cool. Blind Squirrel has a large layout of indoor booths and outdoor seating, which is great for a summer day - they often utilize the garage doors for a more open setup. I believe this business has been open for a month or two. I am glad I finally took the time to go. The restaurant is huge and has two large bars and plenty of larger tables for groups. Our waitress was adorable and gave us great suggestions. I ordered the chicken salad in a spinach wrap with a cucumber salad. Very good sandwich and the salad was so refreshing and had so much flavor. The weird part was the hard boiled egg wrapped in bacon on top of my sandwich. Overall a great experience. Okay, I'm not sure why other Yelpers are leaving 4 star reviews and yet leaving great reviews about this restaurant! My lady and I ALMOST didn't try this place out because they have 3.5 stars and man, we would've missed finding our next favorite spot!!! We arrived just after 5 on a Saturday night and had trouble finding a parking spot! Walked into the front door and the place was packed! We didn't have to wait long because the hostess station was manned by some pretty competent young ladies! Ordered 4 different cocktails and we weren't disappointed...some of the best we've had ANYWHERE (the Maddie was the favorite!)! The Hanover Easy Burger was fantastic and they were generous with the burger Patty and toppings! My lady enjoyed her fish sandwich. I've seen people complaining about the noise but it wasn't loud at all. TVs at every angle and plenty of tables of all sizes. There were people still streaming in the door when we left at 6:45! This restaurant is well managed and the owners are to be complimented on having such a fine establishment! We were more than happy with our visit and plan to make this one of our regular spots! I deducted one star because it's difficult to have a conversation inside the Blind Squirrel. It's especially almost impossible to talk when the live music is playing, which often happens during dinner time. We've tried sitting in the far back, but it just doesn't seem to help. Sadly, it's not a place we can go to meet friends for dinner to catch up, because we can't hear each other. That being said... we love everything else about this place! Two large bars, plenty of high top and low top table seating, and a few booths. Also plenty of patio seating when the weather is good. Nice sofa and comfy chair lounge areas are first come four at served for beverages only (no food is served in the lounge area). The food is very good. I usually order the Philly cheesesteak, which can also be made with chicken. The strawberry salad is very good, and the hamburgers are solid. The curly fries are delicious! Drinks are always good and there's a good bourbon selection. I was there for lunch with a friend today, and while still somewhat loud, we were able to have a conversation and hear each other :-) We've been to Blind Squirrel close to ten times this past year, and I'm sure we'll be back again and again (just not for dinner with friends if we want to talk to each other)! read more

So, I have a thing for squirrels so when I came across this place on Yelp I knew that I wanted to try it. Our server was Austin and he was very polite and provided excellent customer service. My dad and I both got chicken wraps. They were a decent size so we each only ate half. I had the Mac n cheese for my size and it too was a decent portion size. My dad had the twisted fries and they were seasoned very well. They have a decent beer, cocktail, and mocktail list. I had a mocktail with red bull, lemonade, and strawberry. We went to the restaurant about 8:30 last night. We entered and stopped at the front desk like the sign told us in order to be seated. There were a few servers who walked by us and said nothing or even acknowledged we were there. We waited about 10 minutes before one server said she would be right with us.
