Freddy's is the best for a greasy lil burger and some bomb diggity onion rings. Super friendly Hispanic staff so if you are looking for a bilingual place to come they can accommodate. Music overhead of all generes, laid back. Lastly don't come here and just get a burger. Grab a concrete custard on the way out. You won't regret it, you can burn it off later. read more

I had been to a different location of Freddy's but my first visit here. Freddy's has a menu of sandwiches (focusing on burgers) as well as hot dogs and of course their array of custards and desserts. I went with a couple of their big ole hot dogs which reminded me of the one's I'd get down at the ballpark. The hot dog itself was really tasty and exactly what I wanted. I got some onion rings which I would classify as average. For dessert I got a chocolate malt which reminded me of a Frosty from Wendy's but even better than that. Really tasted. The service was everything we needed on this occasion. The restaurant was also clean and was a fine environment. This was a delicious and not at all costly lunch and I will definitely be back. read more

Who cares about the food when the service is so unpleasant it makes you want to return your food for a refund. We came in 20 minutes before closing so maybe that set them off. I'd order an item, and the second I finished speaking, she'd say "What else." Order another item. Immediate "what else." Monotone, same bored inflection. When the food was ready, I guess she maybe quietly called out number. I don't know. I saw the food sitting there a few minutes so I went over to ask if it was mine. Got a quiet nod so yup, I guess it was mine. Not going back here and this has soured me on all Freddy's. read more

Jennifer is by far the worst employee here. Nearly every single time I have come to this location, she has got my order wrong. Not only is Jennifer incompetent, she is not friendly, nor kind. You'd think for an employee who is likely there full-time, she'd know how to do her own job. It is clear that this location does not prioritize properly training their employees, or hiring individuals with any resemblance of customer service skills. Thanks Jennifer! I won't be returning. Do yourself a favor and never use the drive-thru, all of the reviews about customer service couldn't be more accurate. Could've been a good Steak-and-Shake alternative, but I'm much more welcome there. read more

I just wanted to get on here and see if there were any positive reviews since we've stopped eating here because this place is always filthy and the food is awful. However I see they have decided to continue with their poor service, providing a filthy restaurant and below average food. I guess corporate doesn't care about its customers. Obviously since nothing has improved. I have yet to receive a phone call or an email from corporate regarding our last couple of visits here and the fact that I have stated we will never eat here again. Based on how many times we've driven by this place and noticed hardly any cars in the parking lot, it appears many others have decided the same read more

Food was a huge let down, service was subpar, and I couldn't believe how dirty this place was for a newer restaurant. All that said we visited Freddy's in Amelia and it was very good. So I have to believe the management for the Florence location needs to be replaced. read more

I placed my order at the front register with a cashier who was not only rude but also struggled to communicate in English. I ordered a drink with my meal and was told I would get a cup when my food was ready. After walking around the entire restaurant trying to find a clean table, I couldn't find one that was suitable for eating--every single table was greasy. Once I finally got my number called and went to pick up my order, I was disappointed. My Double California Burger combo came with fries that were cold and greasy. The burger itself was overcooked and thin, with brown lettuce, hard tomato, a double slice of pickles, and a soggy onion. The bun had a small amount of Thousand Island dressing, which didn't help the overall taste. When I went to get my drink, the cola machine was dispensing mostly air, so the soda tasted flat and watered down. To make matters worse, there was no ketchup at the counter, and when I asked the cashier about it, she claimed it was there--only to then give me a bad attitude when I told her it was missing. After waiting for 10 minutes with no resolution, I ended up leaving with just two bites of the sandwich and a few cold fries. Overall, the experience was a total disappointment. Between the rude service, inedible food, and the unsanitary environment, I won't be returning to this restaurant. I'm not looking for a free meal, but I do think others should be warned about the quality of this place. Honestly, it might be better off closed. read more

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers with drive thru opened a new location in Florence near Meijer. The place was very busy around 11 am on a weekday. Since I've already enjoyed their steakburgers, chili cheese fries, cheese curds, and most of their concretes abd sundaes, I went inside and ordered a Mini Salted Caramel Twix Concrete. I had to wait close to 10 minutes for my custard treat to be all set. This concrete had a mix of pretzels, Twix bars, caramel and creamy custard,  for a very sweet treat. My friend back in the Boston area would be so jelly that I'm at a Freddy's. We only wish that they would expand into the Boston and Southern NH regions to give Five Guys, DQ, and Smashburger some competition. read more

Ordered 2 meals with tots. Received fries instead of tots. When I asked employees if I could have tots for at least of the orders instead of the fries I received she took the fries and my receipt and accused me of not ordering tots until she saw the receipt. Sat for 15 min and finished our meal, never receiving the tots. Staff wouldn't come back to the counter to speak with us or offer another side. First and last time here. read more

This place is so bad, the $12 burger was covered in mustard and room temperature. So the game plan is to build a million dollar building, charge 2 1/2 what McDonald's charges. Then ruin your reputation by selling 3 hour old burgers. Just chit the bed and close up shop, I'm sure there is a Mexican restaurant that could do something good with the space. Bootleg steak and shake. read more

First i suggest you bring a book for the drive thru wait your gonna need it. I was in line for 20 min to get from the order board to window. The burger was decent the cheese curds were swimming in grease and soggy read more

This rivaled Culver's, and I'm from Wisconsin. The burger was amazing, My brother and I went and it was the perfect lunch. Then, I asked my fiancé to take me back the next day and wow. Just wow. We waited at the front counter for a good 8-10 minutes. We watched a person wandering around, cleaning his glasses, pushing buttons on the wall, another person walking to and fro- everyone made eye contact with us but never asked to take our order. We finally just left. I own retail and know how I train my staff. This was abysmal. But the food, the one time I got it, was great. read more

This sounded good and had to try the local cusine. I bought the California burger - it was good but indid habe a little problem with it, its a little messy making the bun soggy and that ruined the burger for me. If i want soggy, I'll go to the ocean and eat there. Now, the chicken tenders were meaty but lacked some seasoning. However, the skinny fries were good, and so were the onion rings, so make sure you get those! read more

Very crowded small parking lot. Just opened so give it a couple more weeks.. Then we'll try again. Burger was rather dry. Too many fries, they were so small piled so many on your plate. Line to get in or inside waiting very long the inside is extremely small. They need to put it all together, being new and the new employees everyone was doing their best to get the food out and take care of the customers. One suggestion PLEASE USE THE LOUD SPEAKER WHEN notifying customers when order is ready, could not hear the poor employee call out order numbers without a microphone. We will try again. read more

I've heard great things about their smash burgers. It's just unfortunate that I have still never had one. My fiancé and I went in on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very busy at all. We were not greeted or acknowledged on arrival. When we got to the counter the order taker disappeared and at least two other employees saw us and ignored us. There was no "someone will be with you shortly" or anything. One employee was wandering around aimlessly cleaning his glasses and not doing anything. Very sad. read more

Just tried for the first time, and first issue was the drive thru. Waited 15 minutes to pay, then 15 minutes more. Finally the girl at the window opens it again and asks for my name again and then proceeds to say oh I forgot you already paid and hands us our food, which had obviously been sitting there for some time. Ummm....Now, it's obviously cold, we're missing the sauces we asked for and one of the burgers was completely raw inside. Most definitely will not be back and will not recommend!! read more

Gave me a completely wrong order where more than half of the order was missing. When I tried calling they did not answer their phone. I called continuously for 15 minutes prior to someone answering the phone with "what's up." I explained every single piece of my food was incorrect that I had and was missing half of it. He told me to bring it back and he would refund it. However, I just drove all the way home so I did not want to leave the house again with my wife who just gave birth and a newborn. I simply asked for a refund or a credit to which I was belittled and told he didn't know if I "ate it already" so he needed to see the food. I told him he didn't even give me half of my order so I don't understand how that would change anything. I started to get aggravated as the manager was extremely unhelpful and rude. I asked for corporates phone number and the manager replied with "look it up" and hung up the phone. I had been looking forward to trying Freddy's after seeing the constant long lines... overpriced garbage. My husband and I got a burger, fries, chili dog, drink, shake and onion rings and it was $40. Didn't know we didn't receive our onion rings and none of the dipping sauces we asked for until we got home. The buns were basically stale buns you would find at the grocery store, the jalapeño burger had like 3 jalapeños with barely any sauce, the fries were okay, my husband said his chili dog was disgusting. I gave the 2 stars because the shake was really good, I'd go back for that and nothing else. read more

This place is a grease trap. Which sometimes can be good, right? Sometimes you want a greasy, cheesy, burger, and that's great. But literally everything you're gonna get in this place (besides the ice cream), is greasy. Cheese curds are REALLY good, though, and they have Vienna hot dogs which are a staple in Chicago (where we're from). BUT, and I'm pretty ticked about this, spent $15 on two sundaes, a make-your-own and the peanut butter and banana one... the picture I'm adding is my peanut butter and banana one (after I had a few bites and realized it was basically all ice cream). Literally, 3 small banana slices, two teaspoons of crushed peanut butter cups, a spatter of whipped cream, and a single cherry. Their ice cream alone is so-so, so the more toppings on it, the better. But this had NONE. I'll never buy a sundae there again, I'll go to Culver's or something. I know they're new at this location and getting on their feet, but common sense when making an expensive sundae is PUT TOPPINGS ON IT. read more

When this place first opened it was great. However, the last few times I have been there the service has been been getting worse. Today was the last straw, and I will not be returning. My daughter and I went through the drive thru. The lid to the iced tea must not have been put on securely because as soon as the employee started to hand it to me it spilled all over me and into the open window of my car. No apologies from the employee. He simply handed me a stack of napkins and refilled the cup with room temperature tea, no ice. I almost drove off without my daughter's food as I was so focused on just getting home to take a shower and get all the sticky tea off of me and wash my clothes. I understand that accidents happen, but have the courtesy to say I'm sorry. read more

Not happy I ordered the #1 combos and the burgers were so small. I have been there twice before and the burgers were huge so I was expecting the same. They were so small I was afraid it wasn't enough foor for our family so had to stop at another restaurant and get another burger. I ordered a large and fries were small too. I basically just wasted my money. The place if filled with teenagers even outside just standing around. Not exactly a family restaurant. Will be sticking to Steak and Shake and Culvers.
