Fudge - Tiger; cookies and cream; peanut butter; cotton candy; chocolate peanut butter; birthday cake
    Madison M.

This candy shop at Newport on the Levee is so cute and has amazing fudge! They have a lot of other candy options of course, including freshly made items, but my family really likes the fudge. My mom is particularly obsessed with the crème brûlée fudge (a flavor we have never seen anywhere else). I really like the birthday cake flavor, but all the other ones I have tried were good too! The employees are sweet and helpful. Downsides would definitely be accessibility and price... the fudge is sold by the chunk and is not cheap. You also pretty much have to pay to park in a parking garage to come here, but there are lots of other fun things to see at the Levee while there!

What's that corruption candy hanging in the window

Couldn't resist the cotton candy hanging in the window! I quickly browsed the very crowded store to see what they offered & came right back to the counter to get the cotton candy! I got the combo- raspberry & vanilla! And got a discount with my aquarium pass! Double win!

This place was an impulse buy for my little man after his trip to the aquarium. Overpriced childhood candy meant to entrap the families who come to the levee with little ones. I knew this walking in and they seemed perfectly okay with my toddler "taste testing" while we walked around the store. This isn't usually the case so kudos for that. It probably wasn't too big of a deal because the candy is over priced and gets paid for regardless. My neighborhood candy store growing up was so much better but this was more about living vicariously through my son and seeing the smile on his face as he stuffed it with sour patch kids and gummy bears! It help solidify our family day so thank you for that! Not so humbly submitted, Michael C.

It's an expensive candy store! All this candy you can get at your local Walmart or Kroger store. The middle of the store makes no sense and it's a really small shop. I walked in looked around and walked right back out. This store needs to relocate and put some candy that nobody has seen in forever there.

Dirty, over priced, Candy was old and stale. I liters paid $65.00 for something I could have bought at Kroger for $15.00.

Staff not that friendly. Very overpriced, most of the candy you can get anywhere. Fudge was not that great. I will not be back.

Girl at the register was short and very rude. Nice candy shop but everything is a bit over priced and won't be returning.

An okay candy store with a somewhat good collection, although I think a little overpriced for what is offered.

It's nice that the story is on the back of the menus, so locals and guest alike can get a sense of the amazing history! This location could have any quality of food and I would still enjoy a visit because the ambience and decor is so fun and cute! The outside façade of the restaurant as well as the branding have been recently updated, but the inside is straight out of the 1950s. All of the pink, chrome, soda fountain vibes are so fun. And it's such a treat to visit such a vintage spot in 2026! One of Cincinnati's true gems. The ice cream is consistently delicious! It doesn't compete with the other Cincinnati family brand in my opinion, but the diversity of the menu keeps me coming back. I got a pineapple mint ice cream soda, which was surprisingly refreshing and a really good balance of fruity and creamy. My husband got a sundae, which we felt was a little small compared to some of the other menu items - our friends got malts and had a whole other cup of malt available in the stainless steel cup that came on the side. I couldn't help but notice the portion size of that was inconsistent with some of the other items, and I made a plan to split a mall next time for a great value! The service is top-notch and there are very few places you can go to be waited on for an ice cream experience. Don't miss it!

The old-school charm of the shop, with its vintage chairs and ice cream diner vibe, felt like stepping back in time. My wife and i decided to indulge in a sweet treat and as we waited for our orders. She opted for two scoops of chocolate and coffee, while i chose a unique sundae named bourbon it has vanilla, chocolate, and coffee all topped with hot fudge and caramel. Each bite was bursting with flavors that were both rich and unexpected, thanks to their homemade creations. The attendant proudly shared the shop's history having been open since 1908, adding a layer of nostalgia and authenticity to our experience. Walking away, i couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a delightful spot. The combination of rich history, exceptional flavors, and friendly service made Aglamesis Brothers a must-visit for anyone in Cincinnati seeking a memorable ice cream parlor experience. I'll definitely be back to savor more of their creations and to delve into the stories of their long-standing tradition. Until then, thank you for a truly delightful journey! It's one thing to close early, but to post a handwritten sign calling the event "stupid" was shockingly unprofessional. It's figuratively and literally more than a bike race, it's a fundraiser that supports cancer research and survivorship through the CancerFree KIDS Pediatric Cancer Research Alliance. It brings thousands of people together for a cause that matters deeply, while also creating one of the most electric, family-friendly atmospheres you'll find in Cincinnati. From a business perspective, this was a massive missed opportunity. The streets were filled with people eager to support local shops and enjoy the events which is exactly the kind of audience any small business would hope for. Instead of welcoming that energy, Patty's turned it away and insulted the very people walking by their storefront. I love supporting small, local businesses, but this kind of response shows a disconnect from the community that makes Hyde Park special. I hope they reconsider how they respond to events like this in the future.
