I follow Buckabee Brownies on Instagram and their brownies look so good. So when my Mr. brought some home, I was ecstatic! I got to try: -Confetti Blondie -White Chocolate Swirl (Marble) -Square of the day What I love about their brownies that it's not too sweet! Kind of reminds me of a big thick cookie. My favorite is the White chocolate swirl marble. They sell everyday brownies, square of the day, vegan and gluten free. Pricing is reasonable. Also they make sheet brownies for special occasions. I'm glad I finally got to them! Highly recommend you check them out! read more

I hate to have to do this review, as I love to support small family businesses.... But after spending $17 on 6 brownies (made of 3 large and 3 regular sized ones) I have to say this one was disappointing. And that price was with a 10% off first online order coupon! Service was kind, but not attentive either - as I got to my car and thankfully checked the bag before leaving and was missing a large brownie - a 6 bite brownie they value at $3.75. I hope it was not intentional to gain their 10% discount back, as that thought unfortunately crossed my mind.... But he did apologize and recheck my online order when I went back in and gave me the missing brownie. I told him I do understand how it might have happened since 4 other brownies were a quantity of one while that flavor/size was the only quantity of two. I just hope it isn't a frequent mistake they make especially with shipped orders. That would be a huge bummer! Now.... Let's get to the taste. Sigh. First thought.... They are victims of the undercompensation for the drying effect of cocoa powder. Boy was the chocolate brownie portions lacking in moisture! If it weren't for the creamy peanut butter on the buckeye one, or the half blondie portion on the blueberry orange one these would have been near inedible. PLEASE ADD MOISTURE TO THE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE BATTER.... You can use extra egg yolks, unsweetened apple sauce, extra butter, or pudding.... But SOMETHING really needs to be done. There needed to be more cookies and cream in the cookies n cream brownie.... The snicker doodle needed a bit more cinnamon but my roommate liked it most regardless - which is sad because he never likes anything more than chocolate peanut butter combos, but the dryness ruined that for him. And that was mostly what he had.... 1+1/2 large pb and a small pb one bc it's usually his fave. What a shame. WE DID HOWEVER, ENJOY THAT THESE ARE NOT OVERLY SWEET. The sweetness was a perfectly balanced level. Fix how dry the chocolate parts are, increase a bit more in the flavor department.... And 2.25 for a 4bites brownie and 3.75 for a 6bites brownie might not be so horrible. I DO HOPE THE OWNERS READ THIS FEEDBACK! I HOPE YOU CONSIDER MAKING THE CORRECTIONS AND HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU BE MORE SUCCESSFUL AND GAIN MORE REPEAT CUSTOMERS! If I ever check back and see a "now more flavorful and moist!" Then I will try again. (I might return for another flavor of a blondie - they had more moisture and a bit of gooeyness.... But normally I prefer chocolate or a combo). Until then, I wish this little business well and I hope my honest review helps others know if it's the right place for their hard earned money. God bless all. read more

I had been wanting to try these brownies for a while. I love sweets and supporting small businesses. I ordered 18 online and pickup was a breeze. I enjoyed the packaging. The owner recommended keeping them in the fridge, which was great to know. I was excited for my first brownie, but I was a it disappointed. It wasn't soft and gooey and the flavors didn't really pop. I thought, "I should try letting the next one I try sit out and get to room temperature", so I did. The improvement in taste was minimal. With each different flavor of brownie I held out hope, but none of the flavors made me scream, "This is delicious!". I was bummed. read more

The brownies were all very good. I enjoyed that they were not extremely sweet like most bakery food you'd find in America, where you're left with a stomach ache and ready for a nap/sugar crash. The man who co-runs the place was very nice and explained what the business was about when I answered to him I'd never been there. Very cute shop and the price is not bad compared to other bakeries in the area (who charge $5 for one mediocre cupcake). No, these are not brownies out of a box. They taste different of brownies out of a box or some thing that you can get at the grocery store. They have very unique flavors and are very yummy if you're not expecting it to taste like what you get out of a box read more

Delicious brownies by a cute mom/pop shop. I've stopped by here at least 4x now and these brownies seriously addictive. The shop is COVID-safe and has a plexiglass separating clients from the owners. I normally opt for a few of the classic flavors (fudgy, chocolate/walnut, oatmeal, etc). The red velvet cheesecake is really good but they're pretty stingy with the cheesecake (IMO should be at least 1/2 of the brownie). Their hours are weird so always check before heading out or else you'll be sad you missed them. I'll be sure to stop and support by as long as they're still around as they're a great change from the typical cake/cupcake/cookie spots. read more

These weren't for me but I'm glad others enjoy them. When I think of brownies I guess I am used to the ones I make. I under cook mine and have them warm so they are fudgy and full of flavor. These seem very fluffy and definitely need refrigerated as I left mine out over night and it did not do them any favors. The store is clean and good location. Service fast. I wish them well. :) read more

Really tasty brownies, they're fresh and they always have cool seasonal flavors ready!!

The owners are so welcoming and friendly! It's run by a couple, and you can tell how much care they put into their products!

Great brownies and great customer service. One of the owners helped us and decorated the box for my daughter's birthday. We got a mixed selection and enjoyed every flavor. read more

delicious brownies! i got a salted caramel and s'mores brownie. They were super friendly and i'll definitely be back

Great local business. The brownies are very buttery with terrific overall flavor. I really like the packaging, it's cute and functional. The owners clearly taking coronavirus very seriously and the store is set up perfectly for distancing. I tried chocolate & walnut, chocolate chip, and oatmeal and white chocolate. I'll be honest that I was worried the non chocolate ones would just be like dry cookies. They were not. I would say the oatmeal white chocolate was my favorite. I loved how moist and buttery it was, and it didn't feel heavy in my stomach. At first I thought they were a little pricey for the size, but then I thought it through and it really is a fair price for the quality. I think you would pay a bit more at Starbucks for a brownie twice the size, but that brownie would not have the rich flavors and you wouldn't get to smell the scents in the bakery and support a local business. read more

Due to 2020, we knew we needed to flip our company holiday celebration on its head to safely celebrate with everyone, so we organized a Zoom Christmas Party. To help with the festivities, we put together a group of snacks for our team to enjoy while on the Zoom call. Buckabee Brownies was one of those fantastic local places we chose to include and they exceeded our expectations! Their ordering process was very smooth and, more importantly, friendly. We placed an order for 30 brownies in a few different flavors and even needed one of those that was vegan for a member on staff. They put together some of their popular flavors, individually wrapped them and had a label identifying which flavor was which, and had them ready to go on the pick-up date. Picked-up and paid, of course everything was safe due to COVID-19, and brought them back to our shop to share with our staff. Everything was perfect! My ONLY regret was that I didn't order more of the White Chocolate & Coffee for myself because I probably could have ate about a dozen of those--it was so insanely good. Thanks for helping us celebrate our team in 2020! read more

Good brownies. Many flavors and varieties. Loved the atmosphere. And the brownies are quickly given to you

Friendly service. Lots of variety in flavors. Portion size needs to be bigger for $1.95 per brownie. Packaging is nice. Better brownie than pre-made ones sold at the grocery store or some bakeries. read more

I had been dying to try these brownies for a very long time as some of their social media posts had me drooling! I am not into cake or cupcakes, so brownies have always been one of my go to desserts. I stopped in on a weekday midday after an appointment. One of the owners quickly greeted me and was genuinely excited to tell me about the product! We chatted for a little bit and I finally decided on a box of 9 assorted flavors. If you buy more, you save more. I love the box they have designed to house these little sweet masterpieces. It is very appealing and unique. This is a mom and pop business and I see all the reasons they are so special and even won new business of the year in Montgomery. I can without a doubt say these are the best brownies I have ever had. These are not something you could easily make at home. My favorite flavor was the newest, the Irish Cream cheese, but all flavors I sampled I liked. These included salted caramel, nut, fudge, peanut butter, and oatmeal. The brownies themselves are fudgy and rich, but not too sweet, which to me is perfect. They held up and stayed fresh over the several days it took to finish them. They are even beginning to offer some gluten free options, just ask! You might even see them around town at Zoo events and more! read more

If not, it's a little out of typical commute. . QUALITY 5/5 Soft & thick. A variety of yummy flavors. read more

I love local businesses and was excited to try Buckabee. When I arrived at Buckabee, you enter a tiny triangle room with plastic all around. It is very uninviting and disconcerting. You look at a list of what they have and then the clerk fetches what you want in some back room. You cannot see the brownies before you buy them like you can at a regular bakery. I bought a couple basic brownies. They were nothing great and they were disappointingly dry. Brownies are no fun when they are overbaked. I hope they were just having a bad day and that they do not continue selling dry brownies. read more

So excited to find amazing gluten-free brownies. These are terrific and I love supporting small local businesses.

I love sweet treats and this really hit the spot! I tried 3 flavors & a bag of edges. The chocolate chip was my favorite but the edges were great to try a little of everything. They are really sweet but just the right size to indulge and not overdo it. Big plus for the friendly customer service and precautions in-store to keep everything protected. I'm looking forward to trying the coffee flavor and mailing some to friends. This was the perfect way to wrap up a month of Birthday treats. read more

Buckabee Brownies is offering cute bite size brownies. I have been wanting to try them for awhile and finally did. I stopped by and was greeted by the friendly staff member. They are also taking COVID precautions. You can not come into the entire store. They have a small walk up window inside the store but right at the entrance. It's quick and easy and I was in and out within 3-5 minutes. Their brownies are bite size. I tried multiple flavors such as Carrot, Red Velvet, Sprinkle, Classic, and Chocolate Chip Blondie. My favorite was the Carrot Blondie. It was different, creamy and yummy. In my opinion, their brownies aren't bad but I've had better. Their classic taste like they put coffee in their brownies. I wasn't sure how to feel about this. I know coffee is suppose to me enhance chocolate desserts but I don't like it in some desserts. I also like my brownies slightly more moist. Overall, Buckabee has a simple process with friendly staff, but the brownies themselves were ok. read more

YUM YUM YUMMMMM. Stopped in here today to grab an afternoon treat because of the sign out on Cornell which read, "Buckabee Brownies Grand Opening." Glad they had this posted, because I may have never noticed this unassuming little shop in a strip near by work. I was surprised to find that for such a teeny little place, they were hopping at 2pm on a Friday! I did have to wait a few minutes to be served because there was an excessively talkative old woman at the front of the line. This annoyed me, as I was hoping this could be just a quick stop on my way back to my office, but obviously that's not the fault of the business. Anyway, I decided I would order the "Bag of Edges" because the edges of the brownies have always been my favorite. The man at the counter handed me a small bag, which you then get to fill to the brim with whichever flavor (the same or a variety) edges you would like from these little containers on the counter. I grabbed about six edges, but I'd guess you might be able to stuff eight of them into the bag. But don't get greedy--if you ruin it for everyone else, I will hunt you down!! The pricing was abut what I would expect for a specialty bakery-- $1.95 for a brownie, $2.95 for my bag of edges. You can get boxes of 9 brownies which I believe I heard the man at the counter say were $1.95 per brownie, but you get the ninth one free. They also have brownie/coffee combos you can select as well. I really liked this place and would recommend you check it out! Their selection is great, with everything from fudge to peanut butter to salted caramel, I can't imagine anyone couldn't find something they'd enjoy, read more

I have wanted to stop in this family owner business for a while. I follow them on Instagram. I've been watching all the flavors. I was in my the area and took advantage of the opportunity. They service was awesome and they were so kind. The set up is fabulous as far as safety protocols. They are behind clear barriers, they slide the brownies through a slot. The brownie box was wrapped in plastic. I bought a bag of edges and a box of brownies. I opened the edges as soon as I got in the car. Their brownies are unique in texture and flavors. I thought they were delicious. I appreciate that they were not overly sweet. I never tasted an actual brownie, just my edges. I stopped at my sister's, gave her and her husband half. Then I gave the other half to my best friend and her grandbabies. Every single person that tasted them loved them. I'm going to stop in this week so I can grab the blueberry pecan before they are gone. read more

I'm so happy this opened! I can walk from my work! Stopped in on my way back from lunch and was not disappointed!! Omg You can buy a bag of edges. A. BAG. OF. BROWNIE. EDGES. It's the best thing ever! It's a great way to try a bunch of options. The lemon poppyseed was really really tasty!! Tom was super nice and helpful. I'm excited for my birthday brownie as part of their rewards club! read more

I ordered the brownies via Doordash and while they tasted pretty decent, they just felt like they were missing something flavor-wise. My biggest issue is definitely the cost based on the size of the brownie. While I appreciate that a small size encourages trying multiple flavors, at nearly $2 each, the price point is just way too steep for what you get. Flavors ordered: white chocolate raspberry (YUM!), chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, marble, & white chocolate oatmeal. read more

These were not good at all. They weren't moist or fudgy, lacked flavor and sweetness, were smaller than a playing card, and expensive for the size. Not at all rich tasting. They were pretty dry the day after we got them. We got white chocolate raspberry, snickerdoodle, peanut butter and their signature chocolate. Peanut butter was just OK, but we really didn't enjoy any of them. Won't go back. read more

What a cute little gem this place is! I work a block away and had no idea such a place existed until I was stuck in traffic on Reed Hartman Hwy and HAPPENED to glance over and see part of their sign. "Brownies" was all I needed to see. I hopped right over there to check it out. When you walk in, you're instantly engulfed of the delicious scent of fresh-baked brownies, and I ain't hatin' it! It's a tiny place, but that's all you need for brownies. There are pictures and descriptions on the wall, and you just pick what you like. They are reasonably priced, considering there's no mixing, baking or prep involved (on my part) and the flavors! Oh Em Gee! I highly recommend the coffee brownie, cookies & cream and the root beer float brownie. Soooooo amazingly good. I can't wait for fall to try to Pumpkin and Eggnog Cream Cheese! The same gal has been there the two times I've gone (I think she's the owner), very nice and always accommodating. I love giving locals my business. Keep it up and we'll keep coming!!! :-) read more
