I really liked Astro Monkey and the beertender was very accommodating when I asked for a Tajin rim (yassssssss!) They actually have a plethora of chamoy/chili in front of the register, so that was a HUGE plus for me :) Clean and large indoor facility, plus a cute and shaded outdoor area (with a swing!). There's also a playroom, which is not something you would normally see in a brewery. Pizza also located inside the brewery and it was really good. Tons of games (cards, dominoes, etc.) you can play for free as well as a free arcade gaming system. Would definitely recommend stopping by. read more

Awful pizza, ordered two 12 inch pizzas for $51. Got home with burnt tops, scanty toppings even though we ordered double cheese and double pepperoni. Complete ripoff!! Never again!!! Fun place and I love the pizza. They make a thinner pizza that is a little crisp which is my favorite kind of pizza. Beware though several nights a week they have activities like live music, bingo etc. which makes it hard to talk. Just lookup the schedule before you go so you aren't surprised. Or if you like that kinda stuff then get there early for a good seat. read more

Responded to an eventbright invite for a "crayfish boil". Tickets said it started at noon and would go to 9pm. Showed up at 12:30pm, crayfish not ready. Bartender said it would be 10 minutes. Finally at 1:15 first batch. It was only then was I told there was a "wait list" I had to sign. Batches were so small only about 8 people could be served and it took over 20 minutes per batch. FINALLY, at 2pm I got crayfish. They had run out of sausage, no potatoes, 1 small piece of corn. Watching the Laurel and Hardy show of the "cooks" was hilarious. They had no idea what they were doing. Between 4 years in NOLA and 25 years in TX, I've been at least 100 crayfish boils. WORST ONE EVER. Based on how mishandled this "event" was, I would never return. read more

All is forgiven in the spirit of the holiday." He was never rude. It was your wife that was RUDE and Obscene! I play bingo with my friends on Saturday night. We have a great time and do not appreciate rude and lude behavior especially in front of children! The rules were perfectly clear on the game. It was a blackout game! Every space covered on your card! It was clear to everyone else playing! Besides, it is just a fun game. It's not like she was going to win a major prize. I am quite the beer snob so when I first tasted Monkey Tail, Monkey Wrench and the rest of The Suds Monkey family of fine flavors I have to say I'm a new loyal fan. When I asked Greg, (the head brewer and proprietor of this jewel just west of Austin), if he is a master brewer he humbly replied that the term "master brewer" has been used quite loosely in today's wonderful world of micro-brewery's. I can only imagine after tasting the Suds at Suds, if there is such a thing as master brewer Greg Plumber must be one! I will be back often.... read more

This is an excellent brewery. Kid friendly, games for adults too. The beer is great, they don't crowd their beer selection with a bunch of things that are similar. Each one is different. The prices are great. Highly recommend this place. I hope to see their beers at a local bar soon. read more

Live down the road and saw the sign on 290. Stop to try and got the full service. Pale ale is very nice as well as all the IPAs. The tour is definitely an education on great ideas for other beer brewers and servers. read more
