    Bright spotlights at night
    Sandi N.

Grand opening of this cute food truck was tonight! They are located right next to Hitmaker Brewery which is very convenient. For tonight's grand opening they had a Beatles band playing and enforced social distancing for people setting up lawn chairs. The stage is a container truck stage on wheels, so it looks like they could be planning more live music and concerts in the future. Nice grassy area to bring your own chairs and a turf area with some picnic tables and room to dance. Grab some beers from Hitmaker and enjoy a pizza outside. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The pizza has room for improvement. Very soggy in the middle. With a name like 'fired pizzas' you would anticipate and expect some crispness on the crust. That being said, the flavor of the toppings was very good. Tips for owners: offer some paper plates (it's hard to eat soft Pizza on a napkin). Also, see if there's some way you can dim the lights on the food truck as well as around the stage. They are very very bright spotlights that are shining directly into your customer's eyes. Also, if you are going to continue to have live music it is impossible to hear your number called out. Maybe look into a texting or buzzer system so customers know when their pizza order is ready?

Hulk beast and bbq. - Two slices of pizza in a cardboard pizza box are placed on a weathered wooden table outdoors. The pizza slices have toppings including black olives, green peppers, and melted cheese. A can of soda is visible in the background, along with a blurred outdoor setting with grass and trees.

Great pizza! We had two pizzas. Fajita BBQ beef and Hulk Beast (veggie pizza) both were delicious! Also the spot it's pretty comfortable outdoor sitting with a very clean setting. Definitely a family place. Customer service is awesome too! Oh.. and did I mentioned that there's a brewery next door!? Even better!

The perfect pizza spot! Delicious food, wonderful service! We stopped in on our way home because we could let our pups out to stretch... Great find! We had a classic pepperoni and added jalapeños on 1/2. We also shared the garden salad with ranch dressing. It took about 15-20min to get our food which was made fresh and served HOT! The pizza was delicious and was definitely made fresh. No reheated/heat lamp flavors here! The salad was crisp and veggies were cut nicely (I dislike giant chunks in my salad). The young man taking orders was very nice and offered options we could do for our shared pizza. He gave us plenty of napkins, silverware, crushed pepper, etc... He even offered a bowl of water for our pups! There's plenty of ahaded outdoor seating as well. It was a great stop to break from a long drive. There's a brewery across from the pizza place if you're hankering for a cold beer. Overall a great experience! I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying a slice! You'll definitely enjoy it!

Service was one point. The food was presented to feed your eyes before tasting. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. My husband loved the fried bone in pork chop with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I had the special which was chipotle grilled shrimp on a bed of crisp potatoes with a chipotle seasoned sweet potatoes and avocado purée. It was delicious. I wish though that the avocado puree was drizzled on top of the dish instead of on the bottom. That way each bit would have a little of the creamy puree. Looking forward to visiting again.

They gave us a small scoop of pimiento cheese with 2 crackers. It's zesty and creamy and great to have an amuse-bouche before our appetizer came out. We loved the smashed guacamole with cotija cheese and pumpkin seeds ($11). The tortilla chips were so thin and perfectly roasted. So good! I ordered the Texas coast crispy fried shrimp ($22). It was perfectly cooked with lots of crunch. I think there were 8 shrimp. I loved the jalapeño tartar dipping sauce. I skipped the fries and for more black beans instead. What I should have done is gotten more slaw instead. That slaw a medley of red cabbage, green cabbage, carrots and cilantro - it was so well seasoned. Great food, amazing service, fun setting. Loved this spot!

Outside there's a cute playground, gated, for the younger kiddos. Perfect for those who want to keep the kids occupied but also enjoy a snacky snack and a drink. There are plenty of gluten free options, and we ended up getting the Yardbird Chicken Sandwich on a gluten free bun, a complimentary Reuben sandwich on a gluten free bun, fish and chips, and a burger for the kiddo. All of them were great! Hubby enjoyed the fish and chips and the spray bottle with malt vinegar! Such a fun touch, nice and crispy, and the chips were crunchy and delicious. I actually really liked my chicken sandwich. While it looks standard, it was such a good bite, super filling, and since gluten free, I got a side salad which was nice and simple and light. The Reuben was GREAT! I was so excited I could have it since on a gluten free bun. The corned beef wasn't super greasy or heavy or too salty which I really appreciated, and the aioli was great to balance out all other parts of the sandwich. The slaw, pickles, everything were all so good, and definitely worth getting in the future! And our kiddo demolished the burger in a heartbeat! Add some great service - super kind, funny, and made me feel so safe eating there with an allergy. He was great, and even though he was busy, he did such a great job coming and checking in! We also had a pint of Lazarus Rice Lager which has been treated and is consumable for those with a gluten allergy (not Celiac)! I love Lazarus beers so much, especially this rice lager! So light and perfect on a hot day! We would definitely come back any time! Defintely worth the stop!

We waited about 5-7 minutes before someone came to greet us at the hostess station. After greeting us she seated us. Once we were seated we waited awhile before she came back with menus and she took our drink order. After a few minutes she brought us our waters and took our order. The hostess/waitress was really busy but despite that she did an excellent job taking care of us. For our starters we shared two items. The Carnitas Poutine which comes with fries, pulled pork, cheese, jalapenos and red onions. This was really good. The pulled pork mixed with the other ingredients was filling and could be a meal on its own. We also shared the fried cheese curds. They came with a tomato sauce and a buttermilk sauce that you could dip your curds in. These were really good when they came out. The cheese was nice nice and stretchy and the exterior wasn't very crunchy but added texture. Both sauces were good and each had a distinct flavor. For our main meal we all shared a bowl of the Truffle Fries. They aren't on the menu but the waitress told us that if you request them the chef can make them. They were really good fries. My husband and son both ordered the Southwest Pimento Burger which comes with beef, pimiento cheese, jalapenos, a tostada, corn relish, and aioli. They said that the burger was really good. I ordered the Harvest Burger cooked Medium. It comes with beef, cabbage, apple jam, aioli and cheese. I ordered mine with swiss cheese instead of cheddar cheese. The burger was delicious. It was cooked perfectly. I could taste all of the combined ingredients and really liked the sweet and salty flavor of it. It was just balanced so well. Overall Oasthouse is a good lunch spot. The service was good despite the waiting plus they have a variety of starters and delicious burgers.

Our waitress was wonderful. She was accommodating, communicative, and professional throughout the evening. The food was tasty and well presented, and overall the group seemed happy with their selections. I ordered the bolognese. It was not the best I have had, but it also did not feel like a standout dish on the menu. I would be open to trying other options next time. Overall, we had a positive experience and would return. They have this ceiling fans open that I don't know what's the reason behind opening it when the weather is so cold. And who puts string lights close to a ceiling fan??? It was a nightmare for me and my family members.. the ceiling fan and all the outdoor dining is a big safety concern! The ceiling fan got broken after it hit the string lights and one of the propellers broke and suddenly flew to my face, luckily I saw it and just turned around but still hit my neck to shoulder area. It was a huge, thick fan propeller and I don't think people will understand this if you didn't experience or saw it in person. Everybody was in shock and panicky because no one is turning off that ceiling fan even if it was still broken and hit ME on my neck! My family had to shout a few times just so everyone is aware to turn off the ceiling fan! Compensated all of our food but it will but our life will never be the same again.. the trauma you this restaurant caused us! And I think the staff wasn't really fully trained to execute an emergency because they don't even know what to do and at the end they just offered me free wine and the calling card of who ever we need to talk incase we have future claims with them. Other than that, one of the staff members were a little bit nosy and staring at us and giving us that annoying look! And that's unacceptable and inappropriate. To conclude this, someone needs to be liable.. definitely not coming back to any restaurants named after this company in future. Luckily, the food and server was good but still not a solution to a horrible accident that could have been prevented by the staff or maintenance. Safety of customers is the top priority but they have ZERO of that yesterday! Thank God for the EMT and for my family who took care of me.

I love the bar vibes and interior - it is cozy and slightly more upscale than a dive bar with comfy chairs. They have a pool table and dim lighting but not too dark where I need a flashlight to see what I am eating. We came on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too crowded and we were able to find a table for 6. You just find a table, sit down and order via QR code and someone brings you the food. The dishes I got included yellow Ranger fries which were really sliced potatoes that were perfectly crispy served with aioli and chili crisp and was absolutely delicious. I also got the Dan Dan noodles with tofu which was a good size portion - the tofu was perfectly crisp and the noodles were Al dente and the sauce was pretty good though I wish it had just a little more sesame paste. As a table we shared the black garlic queso and oh my gosh was that delicious I was worried the black garlic may overpower the queso, but it didn't and added a nice umami punch without making it overly salty.
