We came in and ordered some food to eat in (not to go), and then presented them with some payment weirdness -- vouchers that were given to us to make up for a 10-hour (!) layover/delay at JFK airport. Well, the vouchers didn't work (after a lot of trying), so we just paid and sat down. The salad came, but no pizza -- and we watched at least a dozen go out the door. Hmmmm. I went up to ask if our order had been lost in all the payment confusion. Turned out it was sitting in a to-go box waiting for pickup. Manager was very apologetic, and said if it was not still hot enough, he'd make us a fresh one. It was great, though -- still as hot as if we had gotten it takeout. We're munching away happily when he brings us free "refills" of our adult beverages, just to make it up to us. They do things right, and the food is amazing! Y'all should give them a try sometime. It's great to have good Italian out here past Oak Hill :-)

Just ask to swap the ricotta with vegan cheese and you'll be treated to umami shrooms sauteed with a touch of balsamic, wrapped in golden dough, and generously portioned at that. Happy hour is clearly the time to visit, with all pizzas clocking in at $10, and select drinks at $5. I'll have to time out my next visit better to take advantage.

Ordered a salad to start and the avocado dressing was unique, fresh and a perfect addition to the other toppings. Had to try the cashville hot chicken pie and it did not disappoint- I honestly wish I would have ordered another instead of having to share with the hubs. The flavors all come together and nothing overpowers the other somehow. Wish there was more chicken on it (just because it was so dang good). Love the atmosphere- it really makes you feel like you're in an old Austin dive spot. Everyone coming in seemed like regulars picking up their pies to-go and chatting with the staff. I'll go back to try more pizzas for sure.

The crust has great texture, the toppings are fresh, and it never feels like you're settling for the "gluten-free option." I'd happily order it again and again. When I finally had to ask about our drinks, Mateo seemed annoyed that I even brought it up. It's unfortunate because the food was excellent, but service is a big part of the dining experience. I hope management addresses this, as employees like Mateo can leave a lasting negative impression and discourage guests from returning.
