That kind of engagement means a lot to me as a customer and says a lot about how much a business cares about its customers and their experience. The garlic knots were great, the dough was fantastic and they had a really nice flavor. The marinara was honestly some of the best I've had in a while. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other pizzas!

We ordered a large pizza and 2 drinks. The girl that was working the counter seemed over stretched and it showed. We decided to eat in the restaurant and grabbed a table. We were given 2 plates and waited for the pizza to come out. When the pizza came out it was brought over by the cook, so we were missing cutlery, our drinks and spices. We had to wait while the pizza grew cold till the girl showed up. As for the pizza, it was pretty meh - no undercarridge, chewy bland dough - certainly nothing to write home about. All in all, a one time experience -there are better pizza places around and better service for sure.

As for the food, I was a little disappointed with the pepperoni pizza rolls. I obviously expect mozzarella and pepperoni in a pepperoni pizza roll, but these were basically just a large pocket of melted mozzarella with a little pepperoni mixed in. There wasn't any sauce inside, and the filling didn't really feel rolled or layered together like a pizza roll. It was mostly just a mouthful of cheese, so after a couple bites it got pretty bland and heavy. The supreme pizza was decent, but the toppings kept sliding off and some of the vegetables were still pretty crunchy. Supreme pizzas can be a little hit or miss, so that may just come down to preference. The garlic bread, on the other hand, was fantastic. Dip it in some ranch and it absolutely hit the spot.

Twice now we've ordered pizza from Hill Country Ranch and been more than pleased with the outcomes. First, since we're not far from HCR, the pizza is always still warm when the 'Dasher' drops it off. But that also means that HCR is prompt out of the kitchen so the pies are warm and fresh when picked up. We get the individual sized pizzas, which is more than plenty for our appetites these days. We get two meals from the little pies. We'd had HCR pizza a couple of times in years past and always found the acceptable but unremarkable. Things have changed radically. This new generation HCR pizzas are exceptional. First, they are exceedingly generous with the toppings. Both of my pizzas were heaped with whatever came with the signature pizza and whatever I'd added. I'm talking loads of chunk pepperoni, lots of large chunks of andouille, mounds of chopped veggies. Enough such that you're picking up what falls off and trying to pile it back on (or simply stuffing it in your gob). And it's not just 'more is better.' These are quality ingredients. For instance, the andouille is deep in flavor with a pronounced fennel tinge and robust meat. Same applies with the pepperoni. And the jalapeños have genuine heat. The crust is above average, and the sauces work well. The menu includes more esoteric pizza formulas than I remember from days past. They sound exotic and delicious, and I'll be trying them. Door Dash or live in person. hCR has really upped their game, and I'm a convert.

It was OK, I got the fish and chips which tasted like old refried fish, more crispy and dry than fish. 2 old, dried out small pieces with fries! The salad was just thrown together. It was nothing to write home about.. people told us to try this place. I don't know why? Maybe because it's local there's a bunch of older people eating in there, but they're just paving their way to die. I looked around at the other food. The burgers are supposed to be the best. They look like a greasy mess. I would never come back here again. I remember eating here years ago when we first moved to the area back in 2015 ordered Pizza for my daughter-in-law's at home bridal shower and thinking the crust was like cardboard, so I never tried it again! I'll never eat here again. There are too many other good places around to eat why waste my time and belly on this junk food. Why are so many here?? The service was great though we are wondering how they stayed in business this long maybe with all the coupons bringing in people. Oh voted the best Italian food by a radio or tv station?!!! The menu consists of more than just pizza, in fact many people near us had salads for their main course. We chose a gluten free crust pizza with meats (ham, pepperoni & sausage). The pizza toppings were tasty but, the crust was just ok (too thin to pick up and too tough to cut with our plastic knives. The soda selection is quite limited (Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, a pink lemonade and unknown sodas. The situation wasn't helped by the fact that the machine's ice dispenser was broken on a hot evening. We chose to sit outside to enjoy our meal at one of the super long picnic tables. Each probably sits 12+ patrons comfortably. Great area for kids to run around nearby so as you would assume, lots of young families. It seems to be a great meeting place for families & groups. The biggest downside to our dining experience was the outside trash can. Patrons cleaned up after themselves & the trash can was overflowing. I chose to go inside to throw our trash away and to inform staff of the trash situation. (No need having all that trash near your tables & front door) The staff informed me "we don't touch that. That's the City of Kyle's responsibility. They pick up on Saturday nights." Unfortunate that my visit was 6pm on a Saturday night. I can only imagine how messy the entire area will be by 9pm. I hope that the owners and management can figure out a way to handle this issue since the majority of the trash I saw inside & outside of the trash can was from their patrons.

We walked in looked at the menu on the counter and then placed our order and paid. We were given a number and then went to find seating. After sitting we waited for a while as they started making our pizzas. We ordered two orders of Mozzarella Facaccia Sticks to share. One order with cheese and one without cheese. They were both warm and soft. I preferred the sticks with cheese. One of my adult sons got a Classic Pepperoni Pizza and he enjoyed it. My other son got the Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza and he also enjoyed it. My husband ordered the BBQ Grilled Chicken Pizza. I tried it and it was tasty. The pieces of chicken were large and I liked the BBQ sauce flavor. It had a sweetness to it. I ordered a Ground Control Pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, red onion, green peppers, mushrooms, ham, black olives, and ground beef. I ordered my pizza without the ground beef. My pizza was tasty. It had different flavors and textures. The pepperoni, ham and sausage meats were good. The crust was doughy which I liked. It was a good pizza. Lastly we shared a Cinnamon Dessert. Which is a cinnamon bread with icing. It was delicious. The bread was warm and doughy and you could taste the cinnamon. The icing added that extra sweet element to it. It was so good. You CAN split a pizza into two specialty halves. The prices of the two-topping calzone, garden salad, and 3pc tender haven't gone up, which is nice, and the tenders still include a wing sauce AND dipping sauce but cream cheese is no longer a dip option. Specialty items like t-shirts are still listed but at zero dollars and you can't select a size so....perhaps it's still under construction. I doubt it, since my email coupons have also coincidentally dried up recently although the revolving weekly text offers have continued (as of 30 JULY 2026). I hope they still have in-house delivery drivers, because they've always been great people. Perhaps nothing has changed within the brick and mortar, and I truly wish y'all a great time of it. For me, Gumby's was a frequent ritual of petsitting. Sharing pizza crusts with pups and treating myself to a mule and Mountain Dew wasn't fine dining but it was consistent quality and reliable delivery after a day of work and familiar as I settled in at any of several addresses across town. Still tasty, I'll just see them less now because the convenience of the former platform is gone for my typical orders. Time to find new favorites!
