Whether I'm feeling lazy, having pizza and a movie night with my partner, or hosting his mom, I find myself going back more and more. Bonus surprise: their desserts are legit! I don't know if they're made in-house or sourced fresh, but they're good. Service is excellent. They always answer the phone, the pizza is ready when they say, and the cashiers are patient and pleasant. Abby helped me most recently--offered me extras, showed me the dessert options, and gave me a full rundown of the chocolate mousse cake (I grabbed cheesecake this time, but do yourself a favor and try the carrot cake when it's available). Reece made our pizza this time--sometimes it's Pablo, one of the managers, who's always zipping around making sure everything's running right. Pizza was still hot, fresh, and foldable when I got home. Atmosphere feels noncommittal, like if you threw a sports bar, a moody Italian pizzeria, and a NYC tourist trap in a blender. It's fine--I'd eat in without hesitation, just not with enthusiasm. One ding: constant Fox News feed on the back wall. Not trying to catch up on the world's problems while picking up a pie. How about no news instead?

The caprese salad was perfect, the tomatoes were nice and firm and the cheese was moist and slightly salty, perfection! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the tater tots, the flavor was good but they were not crispy. The other reason I knocked off a star was that the wait was super long. Granted I did see that they had a whole lot of orders coming in but we were the only ones in the dining area and it was just a longer than usual wait.
