The pizza had great flavor, but it was not necessarily as fresh / hot as you'd expect for a made-to-order pizza to be. The ordering process was simple, but I believe we may have been forgotten about. We were given a 20-minute wait - which was completely fine - but at the nearly 35 minute mark we still had not received the text stating our order was ready. When I asked about our order they stated it would be another 5 - 10 minutes - again, completely fine. As soon as I went back inside to sit down we received the text that our order was ready. The pizza & garlic knots were warmish, like it could had been sitting on the side for a bit. The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean Overall it was a good experience. read more

If you want amazing, hot, fresh pizza, then this is the place for you! Absolute perfection!! They have a cute little area where you can sit and eat your food, but it is worth mentioning that they don't have high chairs. We usually take our stroller for the little one, and he sits in there. I will note that we have only ever shared the space with one other family one time, so having a stroller might be an issue for space if it were busier. Give this place a try -- I don't think you'll regret it. read more

One of the best tasting pizzas closest to Converse area. It was easy to order on the Toast app but wish they offered some discounts. There's a back pickup window and a small restaurant area in the front. They charge for all extras whether it's a side of ranch or grated parm on the side. I wish they offered different pizza sizes and flavors like a bbq chicken. There's a ton of construction in that area so it was a little annoying to get to and back but that's not their fault. read more

Love this local pizza joint. We tried a lot on the menu and everything met our expectations. The flavors were on point and everything arrived as requested. This was a Uber Eats delivery so I didn't get to eat inside. I would highly recommend! read more

Omg this place has been right across from my job all this time and WOW!!! How have I missed it? The pizza is amazing and I could drink that sauce. The cheese is delicious. They have these amazing garlic knots that go great with that sauce. I can't see anything being bad here. Top notch quality and ingredients, with great service too. For the quality the price is reasonable I'd say. They have many desserts so I will try those next. The I 35 expansion and construction can make them hard to see or get too, but GET THERE... Trust me. 10/10. Thank you. You just built a new base of customers as we will send all our clients your way. read more

We saw this place on Texas Bucket List TV show & had to give it a try! This is NOT a food truck- more like a little portable with a window to order at. Friendly cashier- and helpful with choices! It looks like they will open the house-like building next door, but not yet, so no indoor seating. There are several outdoor tables. Many ppl got their order to go. Wow! A hard decision to make on what to order. There were so many specialty pizzas & toppings. You could have just about anything you could think of! We ordered a Margherita + pepperoni and it was great! One size , 8 slices. Great for 2 ppl with left overs!! We cant wait to go back!! Drinks were minimal- some canned sodas/water bottles. I saw a couple BYOB wine. Our new favorite pizza place! read more

Mia Marco's serves up amazing sourdough crust pizza in an unassuming location right off I-35. It's easy to miss, but definitely not to be missed! They're currently only operating out of a pick-up window, but have a restaurant built next door. Not sure when they're planning on opening for dine-in service. However, they have several tables outside so if the weather is nice, you can stay and enjoy your pie fresh out of the oven! I went for their Pizza Bianco with spinach, which was amazing. Sometimes I'm hesitant to order spinach as a pizza topping, as it can either be too wet or get burned in the oven, but they've perfected it at Mia Marco's. The crust is a sourdough crust, perfectly crispy and thin with a great chew. I highly recommend Mia Marco's to anyone looking for outstanding pizza in the San Antonio area! read more

Even though the restaurant is not open yet, you can order your pizzas to go. The staff is friendly and the pizza is delicious. The crust, the sauce and the cheese complement each other perfectly! You can tell they use only the best quality ingredients. I have seen them come out to grab fresh basil and parsley right outside their door. I created a monster: half cheese half bacon and pineapple with ranch dressing and red garlic and jalapeño flakes! read more

Just dined there with my wife and her son. Was glad to talk with the owner, Joey, on a Sunday evening. Thanked him for using top notch ingredients in his pizza. I can tell that he got the best ingredients for his pizza. That made the taste, as good as it could be. If you are driving on I-35 north of downtown, the location is convenient. It is on the frontage road. The road noise and the current construction are a distraction, but not worse that buying a pizza anywhere in NYC and eating in front of the pizzeria. So many pizzerias in Brooklyn are located under an elevated subway. This is not as bad. Negatives. Only outside dining, no inside restaurant. Must order from a window. Much of the year, temperatures in San Antonio are not comfortable. Saw that most of the orders were take-outs to eat off premises. Hours are not convenient. Joey may not want this to be a full time activity. Only open four or five hours in the evening on four evenings a week. All pizza is 16 inches. I would have ordered a larger pizza if it was available. All soft drinks are sold in cans. No refills. Despite the negatives, his pizza does earn four stars. I think it is worth a try. read more

I was excited to learn about this place from my son, as we've not found a truly remarkable pizza in San Antonio. We loved Ms Ellies, but since it closed, nothing else has checked all the right buttons on our pizza meter. The crust was phenomenal....thin base, bubbled up charred edges, slight crisp on the surface giving way to the perfect chew. The sauce...perfect in its simplicity...just tomatoes and not much else, if anything....perfect amount of cheese (light) so it doesn't weigh down the pie. Fresh basil. Sopressata. It's a walk-up window, and some small seating areas outside... no dine-in option at present. I can't hold that against them. It's just where they are in their Journey so far. But I do look forward to the time that they have a dine-in area and wine to enjoy with their fabulous pizza. read more

The best pizza in town. Their cheese pizza is a multi-award winning pie and is absolutely delicious. They use cup and char pepperoni which holds the flovor. Their supreme pizza is sinfully delicious. The plethora of veggies include kalamata olives which provide more taste than black olives, but don't overpower as green olives often do. The addition of zucchini to the pizza is a masterful touch. My personal favorite pizza is J's Volcano. This is pepperoni with jalapeños and pineapple with a drizzle of hot honey. I don't like pineapple on pizza, but this one combines the sweet and the heat in amazing ways. read more

OMG this review doesn't do it justice. We ordered the Pizza Bianco with spinach...so so tasty, the crust had the right amount of chew, the garlic, the spinach. Glad there is a slide or two left for breakfast. The other pie was new for us....Grandma's Pep. A Detroit style thicker crust with cupped pepperoni, Mia Marco's sauce and plenty of mozzarella. A bigger pie than we anticipated, would easily feed 4 adults. Delicious. Y'all hit it out of the park with this one. Tip for others who want to try the Grandma...they only make in Da Cheese and Da Pep...allow extra time for prep. At the end of the evening...everybody gave both pies two thumbs up. Thats why we keep going back to Mia Marco's! Great job team! read more

The pizza is excellent. The service is great. The outdoor patio is nice. The grubhub menu pricing is wrong. It says $18 but it's really $24 for J's Volcano. read more

Service is great! We ordered the cheese, pizza, pepperoni, pizza, Hawaiian, and a margarita pizza. Unfortunately, all four of them were overcooked to where you couldn't really taste the good flavor that everybody raves about. The outer crust was really hard, dry and brittle. Inside was burned enough to where you couldn't enjoy the taste. I feel like I wasted over $80 on pizza that according to the reviews should've been really good. read more

I have heard great things about this Pizzería but hadn't had the opportunity to try it out until today. The pies are amazing!!!! Best pizza in San Antonio. Consistent, hot, fresh, pizza every time. If you know good pizza. This is what you're looking for.

I love trying new pizza places, and Mia Marco's did not let me down! I ordered the BoBo (Mushroom) pizza with easy cheese from their pickup window right when they opened for the day. The girl taking my order could have been friendlier, but she may have been having an off day, I try not to judge. She told me it would be about 20 minutes and they would text me when it was ready, so I popped down the highway to pick up a salad at HEB. There really is nowhere to wait for your order right now except outside in the hot sun. Mia Marco's needs to put in some shaded benches for those waiting to pick up. I went to HEB and came back in about 25 minutes but my pizza still wasn't ready. It was another 5 minutes (so 30 total) before my pizza was ready, which feels a bit excessive since I was the first person to place an order, so there was no one ahead of me. I took the pizza home to eat since, again, currently there is nowhere to sit since the actual restaurant isn't open yet (side note: they need to put signs in the window of the restaurant pointing customers to the pickup window. I was confused when I got there about where to go to order). The pizza was very, very good! The sauce is a real stand-out, with a rich tomato taste and thick texture. I will say that when I asked for "easy cheese" they apparently thought that meant NO cheese. There was only the tiniest sprinkle of romano over the top of the pizza, no mozzarella at all, which was disappointing and is why only 4 stars. It is a testament to how good the rest of the ingredients are that I still enjoyed my pizza. The mushrooms have a lovely woodsy flavor and the basil provides a needed herbacious quality. I will definitely be back, but next time I will call to order before heading over so I don't have to wait in the heat. read more

Let me preface by stating that I'm a big sauce guy and this pizza has an inadequate sauce content. I ordered the award-wining pizza, and while the crust flavor is best that I've tasted in a long time, the remainder of the ingredients fell short of flavor. The honey taste dominated the pizza and it wasn't spicy at all. No bueno. read more

Really great, called ahead for pickup. 45 for both PEP pizzas with some hot honey, it was really great. They were super sweet. We got the Hott and the meatball pizzas. We ordered on the way there. Pizza had the most amazing sauce, great toppings and crust that melts in your mouth. The honey chili drizzle was delicious. This is the second time we were near enough to Mia Marco's. They were opening a small sit down restaurant the last time we were here but alas it still wasn't open. We ordered a mushroom pizza which we took home for friends. Their service was friendly as it was last time and they offer a 10% military discount. Simply put their pizza is excellent! The crust is superb. The sauce is tangy. The cheese is fresh as well as the other ingredients and spices. We live in Canyon Lake so we don't get to this area as often as we would like! Not that we miss all the horrendous construction and traffic on every highway and byway! SA sure has changed for this NY YANKEE who has lived here now for 41 years. I also have to chuckle out loud when people try to say that this is NOT a FOOD TRUCK! What do you think it is? It is a red truck that has a real Italian pizza oven. You order from a sliding glass window. They have one size pizza! Be glad because if it's your first time you probably wish you bought 2 pies. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and the uselessness of the "fiat" cash dollar. A good suggestion was made from another Yelper that if it's a nice day like under 90 degrees eat your pie fresh from their oven al fresco on a few picnic tables! Close your eyes and you will feel like you are in Naples, Italy. The taste. The smell! The aroma! Manje! read more

Wow! Some of the best pizza we've ever had. The crust was amazing texture and flavor, with the right amount of char. We got the veggie pizza and subbed the olives for pineapple. We also got some hot honey drizzle. We came on a weeknight and the food took around 15 minutes to come out. The veggies were very thinly sliced and it had plenty of toppings. The garlic knots came in an order of 7, which for $7 was a great deal. They had so much flavor and were perfectly chewy. There's no indoor seating at the moment and someone in front of us in line said the online ordering system didn't work. We will definitely be back! read more

Tried out their pizzas BoBo and Hotta Soppressata and they were great. The crust and sauce are really good. The fresh chopped basil on top was what set them apart from other pizza places. Was looking for a pizza spot after trying a lot of different BBQ spots in the Austin/San Antonio area to cap off the last night. Originally the 3 of us thought it was 10 inch pizzas and so we ordered 3 different ones, only to find out they are 16 inch...10/10 would mess up again as the pizza was gone by morning. Very very good crust and fresh ingredients, owner had a brief chat, was very nice and suggested some other places to try next time we are in town. Amazing pizza. read more

Tonight we had Mia Marco's Pizza for dinner. We've gotten pizza from Mia Marco's a few different time, and it is always good. We also live right up the road from them, so it's super convenient for us to stop and pick up a pizza on the way home from work. It's not your usual pizzeria though. It's just a little food trailer, but I do believe they are opening up a pizzeria soon, and I'm really excited about it. The only pizza we've had from here is Da Meatball pizza, and it is amazing. We get it every time. It's got mozzarella, provolone, and romano cheese on it. Plus homemade sliced meatballs and dollops of ricotta cheese on top. The crust is nice and thin, and the pizza is baked to perfection. We would love to try some of their other pizzas, but da meatball always wins us over. If you're in the Schertz/Selma area and want some good pizza, you need to stop here and get one. I'm not a huge fan of pizza, and I'm kind of picky when it comes to pizza, but I've never been disappointed in Mia Marco's. read more

this establishment was SO GOOD. this is hands down the best pizza i have found in san antonio. the crust was crispy and soft on the inside, and the outdoor seating was lovely (i do wish there were some fans though). service was quick and from ordering to meal ready it was about 20 minutes. while the store is right off the freeway and can be loud, i know they are working on building an indoor portion! read more

Authentic, award winning pizza in San Antonio??? Hard to believe but YES! Swing by and meet Joey and let him explain his passion for delicious pizza! A friend and i went overboard and ordered 4 pizzas... 2 to try there and 2 to take home to the family. Amazing crust, AMAZING flavors. My only regret is not trying something different that the "safe bet" pepperoni or sausage pie. Those are great and I was fortunate to try my buddy's pie Hotta Soppresatta. That honey on Marinara sauce was a game changer. Experiment a little and don't worry, you're tastebuds and belly will thank you! One last note is that their service and hospitality we're exceptional... We spoke to Joey - one of the owners and he is a kind individual soaking up feedback! Expect to see more from these guys and their talented pizza skills. Give them a try and take home a pie! Enjoy! read more
