Love the Chameleon! I come way more often now that my two favorite San Antonio Food Trucks are here regularly. Don't get me wrong, I still spread the love around to the other food trucks, but Bob and Timmy's on Wheels is my #1 go to for Italian. Any of their pasta dishes, pizzas, or calzones are incredible! I typically get the cheese tortellini in pesto sauce. They have the BEST pesto sauce!!! The other favorite truck that is now a regular at the Chameleon is Malik's Philly Phamous Cheesesteaks. These sandos are awesome! I usually throw down a Creamy Chipotle Cheesesteak, but any of them are awesome...or their loaded fries for a solid change up to the sandwich. I most recently went on a Tuesday evening and there was hardly anyone there, which is awesome for me. Cute food truck park and nice bar. I've gone on weekends after dark and it was busy. There's usually 4-5 food trucks to choose from and it's good for kids or pups. The only downside is the train tracks, but I live by them so I am immune to the noise. read more

This place has great tasting drinks from the bar, there's plenty of food trucks behind a screaming chameleon. You'll find spud ranch from new Braunfels, Texas, there's a Greek food truck, there's a German food truck there's a Mexican food truck, and several more kind of getting a spud ranch steak potato and it was amazing. If you're in the Universal City area, you have to stop by the Screamin chameleon and check it there's plenty of tables inside and air-conditioning also covered patio tables on the outside. This place is great. Nothing but good things to say about it from the staff to the food, to the drink prices, and the owners. Everyone is super friendly including the food truck workers. The catfish from the cajun food truck is a must try. The bartenders are always friendly and work their butts off during the more busy shifts. You'll find the owner bar backing and helping his bartenders, always breaking a sweat. Owners who will get their hands dirty in the bar industry is a very rare sight. The place is kid and family friendly. My 2 year old son feels very welcomed and at home here as do any of our friends that we bring. Honestly the best neighborhood bar. They sometimes have live music, vendor days and even Latin night. There is something for everyone here. read more

It's a hidden gem. Ambience is great. Outdoor and indoor seating. Plenty of games, pool table, darts, projector for football games sometimes. Food trucks were not open during the weeknight we were there but Ubereats was available. Live music was playing when we were there and it was very family and pet friendly. This place is fairly new and we stopped by to check it out. The drink prices are pretty reasonable and there are plenty of food options as well. It looks kind of like a converted apartment/house inside. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There is even a pool table. The bar area is on the smaller side, but they did not appear to be very busy when we were there (around 7:00). They have covered/shaded areas outside with picnic tables for seating. There is a cute gravel walkway throughout that is surrounded by Astro Turf. There was plenty of seating outside and it wasn't too hot since it was shaded. We ordered from the Spud Ranch on Wheels food truck. There are other food truck options as well. I had the steak sandwich which is by far the most amazing thing on the menu. My husband had one of their burgers and their fries. They hand-cut their fries every day! The food was fresh and delicious. The staff at the bar as well as the food truck were really nice. I would definitely recommend this place. It is family friendly, so feel free to bring the kids along. read more

They posted about a trunk or treat starting at 8pm. Even posted to come early and there was nothing there. A guy inside said they were setting up and they would be starting soon. Waited until 8pm and not one single car!! Not one person came out or posted anything. I think it was a scam to get people into their bar!! My 3 yr old was excited!! read more
