The crust was perfect, the ingredients were fresh, and I ate considerably more than a man with any sense of dignity should. Somewhere around the second slice, I became convinced that pizza may be the final proof that civilization was not a complete mistake. I also began wondering whether mozzarella has consciousness, whether pepperoni experiences time, and if somewhere in the universe there is a vastly superior species judging us entirely by our choice of toppings. By the third slice I had made peace with death. I took one final slice home and enjoyed it cold in the morning. Excellent pizza. We'll be back.

I split a spicy Italian sandwich and lemon Caesar salad- both tasted really fresh and high-quality. The sandwiches come with either side salad or chips, so that would've been a good option too. We sat outdoors and it wasn't too busy, and really cute vibe indoors. But indoors was full because we didn't have reservations and it was lunchtime. I would 100% come back here when I'm back in Wimberley!

In the first place, the veggie sub had breaded, fried artichoke hearts that made a wonderfully textured and flavorful main to the sandwich, and of course, the bread is delightfully chewy -- which you can see in the bread machine that they have on site. But the star of the show was the Greek salad. It was amazing: a light, crisp explosion of Mediterranean flavors into my palate. Seriously, peppercinis, vinaigrette, olives, and artichokes give the whole thing a wonderfully acidic flavor, but not overly so, and the feta is a fantastic accompaniment. Seriously, if light and crispy are your Thing, you should have this salad. It's always great for a restaurant to have vegetarian options, and Valentino's delivers.

He repeated his beloved veggie sub with its fried artichoke hearts and tried their Greek salad this time. I chose spicy mortadella and couldn't pass up the chance for us both to try the current feature, fried green tomato. The chips are back in the container with the subs (which can have varying results depending on how juicy your sub is, but they're undeniably tasty). Mr R was so happy with his veggie sub again and THRILLED with the Greek salad. At first I wondered if they used 'nduja but I believe I spied Calabrian peppers on the bread--whatever the source, a decent burn kicks in after a delay on the mortadella. A lovely cool slaw atop which proved pretty juicy. Very nice. If this is your first time with mortadella, know that frying it makes it exquisite and you should definitely try that sometime. But it was the fried green tomato sub* which had me sounding like a remake of When Harry Met Sally, the perfect golden fry on gently tart green tomatoes interspersed with chunks of feta and a light ripe tomato relish had me making sounds that would have been embarrassing if we'd chosen to eat at the restaurant. Mr R agreed when he got his half. That is definitely on the keeper list. Mr R said his real sugar soda was lovely. Outside of some chips and the last bites of spicy mortadella sub that became a cold morning snack, we cleaned UP and slept soundly on bellies full of the good stuff. Love, love, love it. *fried green tomato was their weekly special option; specials rotate out and may repeat someday or never be seen again. Have fun.

She knew the menu well, and when a question came up on whether a lunch item could be prepared at dinner, she directly checked with the kitchen (it could be with an up-charge). The bread was served complimentary, and was fresh baked garlic knots with crunchy crust sourdough. So good. Actually, ALL of the food was so good. We walked into another pizza place, Patron pizza, and unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience. Not once did the staff-anyone working-acknowledge my children nor I. Honestly it felt super weird! Like really off. Couldn't even place an order. So we walked out, and excitedly drove over to Tony C's! Immediately we were greeted and the vibe was chill and super welcoming! Not to mention great music! Classics! I felt a bit stirred with what happened at Patrón pizza, so I lightly shared what happened. The lady taking my order wished me a better rest of my day, and was happy we were there :) So After we ordered and got our food, the manager (I assume) walked over to us, and said he was sorry about our experience at the other place. And all in good humor made us smile and giggle :) we were given coupons, and he said to come back to Tony's, they'd be happy to serve us again! My kiddos and I were acknowledged, seen, and loved on. And that meant a lot to me! It really did!! Thank you Tony C's in Kyle!! We'll see y'all again soon! God bless :)

I really enjoy these outings with my daughters. My oldest daughter had the spaghetti Marinara and she absolutely loved it. My youngest had the Tortellini Pesto and was less enthusiastic about it. Only once we sat down did the waitress explain those dishes were from the Spring Branch restaurant -- a completely different establishment with different owners. So despite the 4.3 Google rating, we walked in blind. The parking lot felt abandoned, with dead landscaping and a long-unused patio. Inside had charm but also a heavy 80s-90s vibe and musty carpet. The rolls were cold, though the olive oil dip had a nice citrus brightness. I ordered the Chicken Piccata. It looked fine but was overly tangy and not well balanced. My husband ordered a pasta dish with fish he assumed would be grilled, but it was pan‑fried instead, and he didn't like it at all. We did enjoy the limoncello cake, which was the highlight of the meal. Overall, I would pass on this. Where is Gordon Ramsay when you need someone to bring a restaurant back to its former glory?
