stopped by on a whim and they had a lot of banners stating that they won best wings a few years in a row, thus i was excited to try smoked jumbo wings are nice and juicy. good smoky flavor but honestly one dimensional. needed some more salt and pepper at minimum after looking at everyone else's garlic knots pictures, i'm pretty sure i just got scammed haha. they were abysmal genuinely. burnt on the ends yet borderline raw in the middle. i should've said something bc it was inedible the chef came out and introduced us to his spicy garlic (buffalo?) sauce which was the shining star of this whole place. amazing stellar, not too sour, well rounded ranch and garlic flavor with good heat 10/10 for that. he even gave us a full container of it to go! read more

Suds Monkey is a huge brewery in Dripping Springs. Large front area with picnic tables and a stage. Larger interior with front and back patios. Back is big but not as large as the front area. It's almost like being at a giant campground. This is an extremely family-friendly place. Kids are everywhere, especially on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Big play structure and playground for kids. They have face painting and other kids activities on the weekends. Extremely busy at all times but service doesn't lack. Also, pop-up tents with local artisans selling their wares. Live music on the stage every Saturday. Food menu (we didn't eat). Really decent pours when it comes to craft beer. Shared the salted caramel stout with my boyfriend. Hands down one of the best stouts I've ever had (I fancy myself a stout snob). Even our fur boy, Sir B. gives two paws up (see photos). Bonus: band playing when we were there spied me in an Oasis shirt and did a cover of "Don't Look Back in Anger". Nice job, guys. read more

Meh, it was fine. The crust on the pizza was Good but a tad under baked, kind of under the cheese but well done on bottom. The wings are smoky but pretty flavorful too. You order at the bar and then go sit and they bring food to you. Felt like we were interrupting their night, not friendly service at the bar. My son was here for Spring Break and wanted Pizza from Suds Monkey as it's one of his favorite places when he comes home. We ordered online and picked it up. We ordered several items. We got the usual Garlic Knots which we love. This time around I tried the Antipasti Salad which comes with a mix of greens, salami, pepperoni, tomatoes, olives, and pepperocini with the white balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was really good. All of the ingredients were fresh and filling. We also ordered the herb cheese bread. The bread was good. It was like ordering a cheese pizza with no sauce and cut differently. It was really good when I dipped it into the ranch and marinara sauces. My son got a 12" Pepperoni Pizza. He loved it. My husband and I shared the 16" Stingray Pizza which comes with double the pepperoni and I asked him to add honey drizzle to it. The pepperoni always tastes really good and the honey drizzle added a hint of sweetness. My husband and I enjoyed the pizza. To finish off our meal my husband ordered some Ella Rolls which were like mini cinnamon rolls. They were a sweet and delightful end to our meal. Overall Suds Monkey is still one of our favorite places to order and pick up some good food. We're definitely going to keep going back. read more

What a TIME TO BE ALIVE during the era of this place existing and hopes for its continued prosperity forevermore!! I came in here with friends and the kids on a Saturday evening to what we didn't expect - SUCH a great night ahead! Every Saturday they have musical bingo with kid friendly and adult prize options. There were like 3 kids birthday celebrations going on to top it off! So, it was pretty busy! Our food took awhile to come out due to my last statement (duh) but wow it was worth the wait. Mostly that Vendoro pizza, which was mouthwatering and devoured instantly (pesto all over the face with no shame). Since it was our first time there we got 3 beer flights and were satisfied with all of the options we had per our bartender's recommendations! I wish I could remember the guy's name that helped us but I'm sure I'll get it once I go again soon! Ah, it was just such a wonderful time. Super wholesome. Super family friendly. Everyone we encountered both customers and other workers around us were all so delightful too. After some confusion with a Suds Monkey employee we were quickly contacted with accurate information about delivery. We ordered 2 pizzas as R has some dietary restrictions. The big difference in ingredients is that mine had pepperoni. We each had some add-ons and the 2 pizzas were just short of $100. For 2 pizzas. Fast forward. The pizzas were huge. They are possibly the best pizzas we've ever tasted. We've now had the pizzas almost to excess twice. And we have enough leftovers for 2-4 more servings each. This place was amazing!! We got some wings and two pizzas. One was normal pepperoni and the other one was extra pepperoni. They were both super good but the extra pepperoni had to be even better. Please stop by here and experience this good food. The service was fast and good. I even got a brewery sticker from here. The overall place is pretty spacious and it looks like they have events there too. They also have a small park for little kids. The restroom were really clean and they had an extra room to change your babies and some seats if you breastfeed I think. If I could rate this place higher I definitely would. read more

I came here for dinner and drinks with my husband and we were very impressed. Inside they offer a lot of seating and have televisions. Outside they have many picnic tables and a playground for kids. Very nice location outdoorsy live music. The food is also pretty darn good personal pizzas. Look way more delicious for some reason. Don't know why but the large pizza was good as well. Wings are smoked. Ask for a side of sauce no problem. I am mistakingly overreacted on a transaction and they definitely were patient with my overreaction and I'm glad they helped me out. A family member and I tried this place for the first time when we went to see the Central Texas Bluegrass Association band scramble. It's an outdoor venue, with a covered area that has lots of tables and seating. It's pet and kid friendly. We tried their pizza, and it was amazing! It was freshly cooked to order, with good quality ingredients, and the amount of ingredients was just right. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the service was excellent. Used to claim this place had the best pizza in town, and their thin Chicken cutlet like fingers were insanely good. They changed the chicken tenders for the worse. Thick, over breaded and basic... This was a fun brewery a little outside the main part of Austin! I was staying in Oak Hill and wanted to find a brewery that was easy to get to, hoping to find something with music or entertainment to go with a quick beer. Suds Monkey was a great option for a Thursday night! It satisfied exactly what I was looking for, and I walked in during someone doing a standup comedy set, which was a pleasant surprise. I just got the Astro Blonde ale, and it was pretty good! If I had more time (or a DD), I would have tried a few other beers. We stumbled onto Suds Monkey while attending a wedding. Thank goodness we did. We've been a couple of times and every time we've been there has been a bluegrass group jam session. The indoor space is filled with picnic tables and a few bar tops. Great outdoor space for the kiddos. The food is great. We enjoyed a few small pizzas made perfectly to order. Okay, now the beer! What an assortment of brews they have. I had a flight and each sample was as good as the next. The servers are the nicest people. So helpful and they know their s...stuff! Tip: Tip and be nice. We've visited a few times in the 18 months we've lived in Austin. It has a fun garage feel to it. There is plenty of seating indoors and outside, as well as a huge area for kids to play and climb. They have trivia every week with a regular crowd. The beers are good, but not my personal favorite. We have ordered food a couple of times and it has been pretty darn good. As are most places in Austin, their patio is dog-friendly. Give it a shot when you're in the area! read more

We love their fresh pizzas, great beers, and outstanding staff... they have activities most days (call or look on website to find out what's happening that evening - trivia, live music, music bingo, euchre, live comedy, etc.). Venue is great - we've been with them a long time - new venue is large, dog-and-kid-friendly, and everyone is pretty laid back. They've really evolved with their beers - from IPAs to dark brews, they know what their doing. Their blonde is crisp and light, their hefe has a nice taste, and they occasionally highlight other brewery beers - there's something for everyone's taste there. It does get a bit crowded, but the staff is up to the task (so be nice to them!) and come enjoy a brew, a slice or salad, and get entertained! read more
