The owner was so rude. He was so nice to all of the other guests and regulars. I told him it was my first time. He asked how long I've lived in the area and I said two years, he got offended. After he had already given his how great his sandwiches are and how he's won best of Irving award. He asked me if I liked sandwiches and where I go. I said Weinburger's in grapevine. He got offended even more. He wasn't welcoming, if anything he tried to make me feel dumb for not trying his sandwiches sooner. He could not stop bragging about how his sandwiches are the best you can find. We got the cheese steak - terrible & the meatball - just okay. I would rather drive to grapevine. Terrible experience. The owner should be thankful it's my first time in, not belittling me for not knowing about his business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! "A Gourmet Deli Without the Cost" is a laughable and unbelievably inaccurate marketing slogan for this place. My husband and I paid $45 for 2 very average sandwiches, 2 bags of CHIPS, and 2 non-alcoholic beverages.. painful. There are brochure style menus at the front of the restaurant that list the prices of the sandwiches at HALF of what they have hiked the prices to - disgraceful business practice. As if the highway robbery wasn't enough, the service was TERRIBLE. Decided to check this place out on a lunch break and glad that I did. We all know the feeling when you have a craving for a good sub and this place has plenty of options to pick from to satisfy that craving. The owner (at least I believe she was) was working the counter and greeted me with a big smile and seemed genuinely interested in my day. She asked if I was passing through or worked around the area and even told me about their punch card program. I ordered the ham and turkey and it was great. My bosses brought me here for lunch and I was super excited. They were raving about this place! It totally lives up to the hype! I got a half philly cheese steak sandwich on white with everything. A half is honestly all you need because its A LOT of food. This is not your usual Philly cheese steak. I mean it does taste like a philly cheese steak but the beef wasn't shaved. There were mayo, lettuce, and tomato inside to complete the sandwich. I love their homemade variety of sauces! they make the sandwich more yummy. I was so overwhelmed with all their sauces because there were a lot of choices. I went with spicy dijon for my sandwich and it was DELICIOUS!!!! FYI, there is one line, the owners are a couple. At a conference at the Omni across the street from this sub shop and visited this sub shop. My first visit, the owner gave me Subz N Stuff menus to take back to the conference. However, the prices on the menus are about 1/2 the price they charge. I phoned in an order of #21 sub at $12.99 for a 'full' on the menu but at pick up the charge was $27.05. Beware and I would have not distributed the menus at the condense if I knew the prices were incorrect. Sorry to anyone else mislead. The incorrectly priced menus are still available at the sub shop so this was not a single random incorrect menu. read more

I got the turkey club and it was pretty good (6.5/10). It was a hot sub on the menu but wasn't that hot and the bacon seemed to be turkey and not regular. I wish that was explicitly said on the menu. But other than it was still edible and average. Ambiance was average. A little older looking (not a big deal) but the tables and floor were a little dirty/messy. I get it if they didn't have enough people on staff but I suggest eating their food elsewhere. Outside if it's nice (no patio tho). Staff/owner was very caring and thoughtful. I was expecting something in the realm of Subway/Jimmy John's, but Subz N Stuff exceeded all expectations. I ordered a BLT -- the bread tasted...gourmet? The bacon was a big slab of bacon that covered most of the sandwich and the lettuce (arugula?) and toppings were fresh and top-notch. I wish I caught the name of the guy making the sandwiches, but you could tell he put a lot of care into crafting them. I was impressed. Subz N Stuff is the best sandwich/salad place. My girlfriend and I have been living nearby in Las Colinas since September, and we have gone to this place every week since. They have the best meatball sandwich I've ever had. My girlfriend thinks their tuna salad is the best in the country. Their other sandwiches also look amazing, all the meat and cheese is freshly sliced in front of you. New ingredients were delivered while we were ordering, because their stuff is that fresh! This place is definitely worth going to over your preferred chain sandwich shop. You won't be disappointed with the food at Subz N Stuff! If Yelp gave half stars, this would be a solid 3.5. However, I really enjoyed my gyro so I rounded up! There's parking in the parking garage nearby, just make sure you ask for it to be validated before you leave. It's not a large store, but there's seating for maybe twenty to thirty people. Once you enter, go up to the counter to put in your order. I really wanted a gyro, but can't have tzaziki because of my sesame allergy. I asked the woman working the cash register/also making the sandwiches if they had anything they could sub in instead and she originally said no...which led to an awkward silence until I pressed further. Then she told me about some green sauces like a Serrano garlic sauce and a jalepeno cilantro sauce that I could get from the fridge! Strange interaction, but it turned out fine. My boyfriend ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich on white bread. After being given a small plastic sauce cup, I went to explore the giant bin of sauces she retrieved from the drink cooler and was dismayed to find that all of the bottles were sticky...one of them had obviously not been touched in awhile because the opening was stuck with dried sauce. I picked up a napkin and continued to rifle through the bin to find the sauces she was talking about and ended up mixing the two together. A couple came in about five minutes after us and actually got their food before we did, which seemed strange to us. I saw the woman start making my boyfriend's sandwich after they received their food...so I'm not sure if my gyro took a really long time or if she just mixed up the order but that also felt weird. My gyro meat was delicious! Incredibly flavorful and full of vegetables. The toasted pita basically fell apart and wasn't big enough to hold all the toppings and meat, so halfway through I gave up and got a fork. But it was very filling and really good. My boyfriend's philly looked more like a sandwich instead of the typical image you think of. The peppers and onions aren't cooked or sautéed either, and the cheese is still sliced instead of the melted kind. However, it was also chock full of vegetables and the meat was delicious so he enjoyed it regardless (after taking out some of the lettuce). There are Coke products, chips, and tons of other drinks and snacks to choose from. It's a great spot for a quick cheap lunch that's also delicious! read more

If I could rate this a negative I would. I ordered the Desperado and ask for lettuce and cranberry on the side. The bread was terrible and thick and definitely not fresh as stated. It was hard and flaky. I received a huge container of old lettuce that I didn't use a fourth of and the cranberries a 2oz container where the lid was not closed so it spilled everyone. I paid $10 for a sandwich with mayo, old lettuce, and shaved turkey. I should have listened to my first thought and drove to jersey mikes. It's a no for me. read more

If you're in the Las Colinas/Irving area you simply have to visit Subz n Stuff. I've been going there for quite a while now and it's easily one of the best places I've ever gone for food. All the ingredients are freshly prepared and the owner will mention to you his wide array of sauces (homemade). The sauces are really good, so make sure to try them. For what's good on the menu, well, everything is. But some of my favorites are the Malibu Chicken, the Desperado, and the Philly Steak. There's a daily special which changes each day, and which is a good way to try out the different sauces. They've got a pretty wide selection of chips you can get too. A couple tips from a regular: - Call ahead with your order, the owners really appreciate the heads up and they'll have the sandwich ready for you when you get there. - Everything on the menu is great, but if you get lucky Jami will offer to make you one of his sandwiches "his way." Definitely take this if you have the chance, it means you're in for a bit of a surprise, but it's worth it. Once Jami made me a BBQ Beef sandwich his way, and that was probably the best sandwich I've ever had. He also made me an Italian sub his way which was delicious and had some really interesting flavors, - A few of the sandwiches on the menu take longer to prepare, so definitely call ahead for those. I'm amazed I found this place because it's really unique and interesting. Jami is passionate about his food and the sandwiches are just downright tasty. If you go a couple times the owners will quickly learn your name and welcome you back. I've been going for a long time now and I've never been disappointed.
