The owner was extremely unprofessional and customer service was more than lacking. We were the only customers present and it took over 30 minutes to receive our order. We tried the special sauces but later during the meal my husband picked up some regular Siracha sauce and brought it to our table. The owner (very aggressively) yelled from across the restaurant "Why are you eating siracha?!?! Do you not see my 99 special sauces ??" My husband kindly replied that we did try them and they were good, he just was craving some regular siracha. Any normal person would have just said ok and left it at that...but no, the owner then proceeds to pick up one of his special sauces, walks over to our table, and aggressively squirted sauce ONTO MY HUSBANDS SANDWHICH WITHOUT ASKING! WTF!? My husband and I were seriously in shock at what just happened. Horrible experience. Not worth the money. I seriously still am in shock of what just happened. read more

I have never been to a restaurant in a Dallas in which I was treated so rudely. I had never been here before and wanted to order a sandwich. I was greeted by a guy behind the counter who just kept asking "what would you like sir" repeatedly even though he wasn't the one behind the counter. I was confused and asked if I was supposed to order from him, instead of giving me a helpful response he just continued to ask "what would you like sir?" After ordering one of their sandwiches that for some reason takes 45 minutes to make, he just shook his head and I was asked by the person at the register what I wanted to order. I don't care how good your food is but if you're going to be rude to your customers especially those who had never been to your establishment before, that's a really good way to lose a potential customer forever. Needless to say I turned around and left. I will be taking my patronage and money elsewhere. I was actually really excited to try this place as the reviews and photos looked good. Great sandwiches here. All the ingredients are fresh, they're well made, and have a huge variety on the menu. They have a ton of options for drinks too. I was very excited to try this place seeing that they serve Döner Kebab and I haven't found a place that serves it here in DFW. When I think of a Döner I think of juicy tender meat pleasantly meshed with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes pickles and a sauce. Yes this sandwich had all the parts but the ingredients were very subpar. The meat tasted stale like it had been sitting out all day and oddly salty and sour? The bun was also stale. It was toasted but the actual bun itself was just dry and unpleasant. (I will compliment that the portion was a great size but no one wants to eat a big nasty sandwich) I'm very sad this sandwich wasn't good because I've been craving a good Döner for years since my time abroad in Bosnia. While the sandwich I had was good (a Reuben), it was not really a Reuben. The bread was plain Italian bread, and not rye and the turkey pastrami tasted more like turkey ham. While the owner/manager was EXTREMELY polite, when he asked me how my sandwich was and I said that it was good but that it wasn't on rye he seemed to take offense. I always thought the New York Subway in Highland Park was the greatest Sub shop in town, I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, New York Subway is great, but this place, is epic. I met someone at 11 here to sell my Ranger tickets, need any tickets, hit me up, so I was first in line. Jami is the most engaging owner I have ever met. The sandwich was huge, amazingly tasty, cost $7, I easily made two meals out of it, and his sauces, good lord, this is culinary Disneyland. I work near this deli and I am very sad that I may never have discovered it otherwise! The staff is welcoming and after two visits knew me by my first name every time I come in which is impressive when you consider how many customers they receive daily. They know the sandwiches I have tried and introduce me to other menu choices similar to my taste. I am the type of person who orders the sandwich just the way it is, however, there are dozens of homemade sauces to chose from to enhance your meal. Wow, not sure what it is about these sandwiches but they're addicting and so incredibly delicious. They use high quality meats and cheeses which you can watch them slice off the block. I believe they are all low fat/sodium deli meats and cheeses they use too so I can always justify indulging in a full sandwich (definitely enough food for two meals). A few of my favorite subs: -Desperado -Turkey Club -Philly Steak A major plus is the Subz N Stuff staff, they are so friendly and warm. There is also a "frequent flier" card that you can fill up to get a free sub! I have just a couple sandwiches to go to fill my second card! Being yelled at by the owner for things that were not my fault is not a quality that I find in a resturant that I will be visiting again. This resturant will not be getting the business of myself or my co-workers ever again. After looking at the menu I narrowed my choices down to 2 subs, the ranger & the maverick. It was 7:10pm, with nobody else in line, and the staff already seemed to be getting ready for their closing when I was about to place my order. I was told that both of these sandwiches take too long to make, and I had to order something else. 45 min to make a sandwich is complete BS, the staff is just plain lazy. Called up to place an order to be picked up. The call was placed at 11:25am on a Sunday. I ordered 2 sandwiches and was told I could pick it up in 45 minutes and the person immediately hung up the phone. I called back as thinking it was a sandwich shop surely it would not take that long, besides I didn't have the time to wait. I asked if the 45 minutes was a true estimate. The man who answered the phone said "it is lunchtime and we are very busy". He hung up on me again. He knew I was a new customer, I was local, and he just lost business.
